What can I say except that Sandy is incredible?If you’re in Winston, this unassuming building will knock your socks off. A gentle, dimly lit restaurant with light music in the background, Sampan is a long-standing establishment in this area (more than 25 years!) What a delight. Please swing by for some lunch specials, authentic Asian cuisine, or familiar wonton soup (with a thin noodle wrapping, not a thick one, around the dumplings). Yum!
Sandy and her team deliver the best Chinese food in Winston Salem. Very calm and peaceful atmosphere to sit down. Great portion sizes when sitting down or taking out. Highly recommend her and have been a customer of her’s for decades.
I ordered my first ever meal for take out today and it was so delicious ! On the recommendation of a friend, I ordered the Emperor's Shrimp and OH WOW. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, juicy and tender, served with a swee, creamy pineapple sauce. I also ordered the scallion pancakes which were out of this world.
