“Our new favorite lunch spot! Stumbled upon this (surprised this had not been recommended to us) and had a wonderful lunch dockside. Can highly recommend the Shrimp and Crab Salad, as well as the Calabash Platter (a fantastic, lighter version of the classic beach fried seafood platter). Great views of the Intercoastal.Parking: Note that the lot is free, but if you park on the street you have to pay.”
“From the thick slice of sourdough to the fresh avocado and sea salt, the avocado toast was just right. The açaí bowl was piled high with fruit, coconut, and goji berries. Delicious!”
“The cutest second story coffee shop on the south end of Wrightsville beach! This is the perfect place to grab a coffee or quick morning bite to eat. It's also great for an afternoon drink since they have beers on tap or cans to choose from! There's limited indoor seating but there are outdoor picnic tables when weather permits. Ive ordered an iced vanilla latte, açaí bowel, and margarita (on tap) and thought all were great! The servers were also all very friendly. Can't wait to come back!”
“Awesome atmosphere, especially when the weather cooperates and you can sit on the patio. The food was really good. LOVED the garlic blue cheese, we couldn’t get enough. The service was super friendly and fast. The fries were tasty, I’m just not partial to shoe string fries bc they get cold so fast.”
“I had the scallops and they were absolutely perfect. The only reason I gave a four star an atmosphere is it's just a little bit louder than I wanted for a seafood restaurant.”
“As much as I LOVE getting a Topsail Steamer when I'm in Topsail, NC, your new "ship anywhere in the country", through GoldBelly, did not work out for my Christmas present to my son and his family in Washington state. Delivery was delayed a day for reasons unknown. Everything had to be thrown away except the steam pot, the spices and the instructions. On the positive side, they went out and bought ingredients to replicate it themselves. On the negative side, that was not $249.00 well spent by me. I won't try shipping again.”
“The smash burger was good, although my fries were cold. The bone marrow oysters were good too. It was relatively quiet for a Saturday after noon. Nice place and I'll be going back to try the hot honey oysters. The rosemary lemon drop was delicious. If you get the crab dip, get extra pitas, they are so good.”
“Super friendly staff. I should have gotten their names. Great pizza. I asked the tall guy to put on golf stuff since it was just me, he did cuz he plays too. I wanted to see the shots of the peoples open. Great place.”
“Great spot. I wish there was music in the actual bar area, it was a bigger area but it was darker and quiet, wasn't the side we wanted to sit on for lunch. It would be awesome if they took the front area vibe and ambiance and pulled it through to the back bar area. Food was good, good price. Skinny margarita was a little tart.”
“Excellent seafood and drinks across the board. We would go back for the tuna poke and tacos. The oysters were shucked well, clean, and tasty. Smashed avocado aka guacamole and salsa were Telmex worthy. You pay a little more for but the experience is worth it. I agree below that the tenders are fine but not at the price ”
“My family and I have been eating here for years. This visit was just OK. Service was good and attentive. Ordered a bowl of she crab soup and it seemed more like a cup and arrived room temperature. Fries were hot and yummy. The oysters and shrimp were very small unlike previous visits. Seemed like they needed more batter. Crab cakes were good and the slaw, homemade ranch, tartar, and cocktail sauce were all very good.”
“Great little hot dog restaurant near the beach. About a dozen or so options on menu, but you can also choose your own toppings too. Cost less than $10 for two good quality dogs, fabulous!”
“Very good meal! Great view. Bread service was amazing!!!, she crab soup and oysters were great. Shrimp tacos were okay. My date enjoyed the scallops meal. Drinks were good. Would ”
“Ignore the decor! It's old, shabby, dingy. Ignore the atmosphere. It's not packed like a frat house bar. Come for the food and the service. Best in the area. We had pork cheek and shrimp martini for starters - both amazing, pork cheeks are to die for! Then main of stuffed quail and scallops, both fresh and succulent. To finish off, blood orange ice cream and salted caramel ice cream - locally made, simply awesome finish. Staff go out of their way to attend to you. All in, a great experience! And whatever you do, get the pork cheeks if they have them ... Should win awards for it it was sooooo good”
“We had a lovely time at Drift. The potatoes were excellent & the roasted pepper sauce was better than I expected. The mushrooms were too heavily flavored but everything else was great! The decor is cozy & relaxing. There’s a nice outdoor seating area also.”
