My last night in Fargo and a friend recommended this place. I absolutely loved the fried calamari as an appetizer and blueberry mule. I ordered 2 of the mules. So refreshing! I had the roasted duck risotto as a main course. It was delicious, I ate every bite. In addition the service was great! If I come back to Fargo again i will find time to stop by.

There was a cool PEN (yes, a pen) that I really liked there a few weeks ago and I asked if I could have it, the staff member said yes.The bar manager, Andy, has decided to call me a "thief" and has made the decision to not allow me into the establishment anymore... over a PEN... that I asked permission to have.I explained that to Andy and he continued to call me a "thief" anyways. It was confirmed that the staff member agreed to let me have the pen but Andy refuses to accept that confirmation.

We travel thru Bismarck every couple of months and look for interesting restaurants with tasty food. The Toasted Frog met these in spades. We shared the prime rib melt - best we have ever tasted and treated ourselves to the pear tart. Everything was beyond expectations. Service was great, they split the melt, brought us extra hot water for tea etc. Will definitely make this a regular stop when in Bismarck.

First and foremost, we had a waiter by the name of Hunter who was on his very first night as a solo waiter after training. We must say he totally made the night fun and pleasureful. His personality spilled over to make the whole dinner. I ordered the New York steak and it was probably one of the best flavor steaks I've had a long time. My two coworkers had the fish and the other had pizza and they also said it was very good. Thumbs up for tonight's dinner.

Hunter is a great server! One of the best steaks I've had, and the fried pickles are 'try at least once' appetizer

Let me start by saying my salmon was delicious, but our waiter was less than impressive and the rest of our food was not that great. I know the other locations have great reviews and do well, maybe this was just an off night because it was a Tuesday.

This was a quirky restaurant that provided good food that’s not our usual fare. We were glad we came. We didn’t have a reservation on a Thursday (only available for large parties anyway), but got a table immediately. Our server was attentive, and explained the various beer options (we were on a quest for local beer). We started with two appetizers, Fried Cheesy Pickles and Korean BBQ Chick Wings. They were both really good, and the sauce on the wings was especially delicious. As we finished those we knew we couldn’t each have an entree, but we decided to split a Chicken Pesto Lavosh. We didn’t know the phrase “Lavosh” but it’s basically a flatbread pizza. It was 16”, and we split it, but still took some home. We were in no rush but finished in a leisurely one hour, at a reasonable price. The atmosphere was sort of chic modern, with more high top tables than standard, and several people at the bar. Definitely friendly to a diverse clientele, with everyone made to feel welcome.

We have been driving for days and tonight, we had a wonderful late dinner at the Toasted Frog. My hubs and I shared the Portobello Mushroom Melt, Italian Sausage Pizza, and the DELECTABLE Pear Pie. Everything was delicious but that Pear Pie (with cinnamon ice cream and caramel sauce)! That topped off our evening. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was fairly quiet with only three other parties besides us. What I really appreciated was that they kept us all distanced and not grouped together which would have made it much easier for the waiter. We parked in the 3rd and Main parking structure as their website suggested (for free after 5 p.m., I believe). No validation needed. The street fronting the restaurant is under construction but don't let it deter you!

If I could give it six, I would.Seriously, best bar I've stopped at on my cross-country trip. If you're ever in Bismarck, stop here! Food was delicious, drinks were *amazing*. I loved it.

Great atmosphere! Delightful cocktails, and delicious food. Had the cheesy fried pickles, pork belly, and elk burger - would eat all of them again. The server was very friendly and attentive. Marvelous overall experience!

Stopped there after work. The food, drinks, service was excellent. And what a great surprise to find that there was a happy hour special on martini's! The waitstaff is excellent!

At first no paper menu.Secondly the mixed drinks was of poor quality even after sending them back. The waiters visit the table often witch is good.Food was on time and the presentation was good.Nothing pulls me to go back there soon.
