“Runza is my go-to fast food restaurant. Great food, love the fresh beef on the cheeseburgers. Fries are best around. Ice cream sundae or sandwich for dessert.Kid-friendliness: They have menu items for kids.Parking: Its somewhat hard to find a parking spot when busy. But drive thru is fast, food is hot. Then take it to a park and enjoy!!!!!”

“We came here based on recommendation from the hotel we were staying at. We could not have been more pleased. We ordered ribeye and filet steak. Both were cooked perfectly. The steak had wonderful flavor. The vegetable was fresh mixed carrots cauliflower and brocolli, it was delicious. The staff was attentive yet not hovering. Tablecloths on the tables was a welcoming addition. Finally a wonderful homemade raspberry cheesecake. The cost was extremely reasonable. Definitely a place to have dinner.”

“We went at 3:30 pm on Tuesday. Friendly and very clean. The food was very good and tasty. Only rated 4 out of 5 since the tacos and chalupa were very good but not great. Beans were a little too bland, could have used some spices. Burritos were very good and flavorful. We will definately go back and try other dishes.”

“One of the best places in Central City. We always encourage our guests that stay in the Airbnb to swing in and get a couple drinks at the Indy. It’s also one of the oldest establishments still in existence in CC. The owners, Larry and Joyce Petersen, constantly host fundraisers for everybody in the community. In addition, they are the type of people who take you in and treat you like family. During the summer months, you can join their volleyball league or their cornhole leagues. It’s a great place to go if you want to throw a birthday party or a anniversary or retirement party!!”

“Quick decision on grabbing supper in Columbus NE or fixing it when we got home 30 minutes later. Taco John's won! Daughter & I split 6 pack & a pound. I got 3 meals out of it & my youngin (late teens, athlete, eats like a teenage boy) swiped most of my potato ole's. She's very specific about liking only meat, lettuce & sour cream on her tacos. They were a dream about fixing them her way!”

“Some of the nicest people in town work at this place, the food is always good, (it's Subway, you're the one who makes the sandwich.)But again, they're really good people, I try to always give a decent tip, they deserve it. Some of them have even helped me out with lunch because I didn't get my paycheck, they've offered to jumpstart my car, they do all these awesome things and I just want to say thanks.Parking: Right outside, there are never too many people because it's such a small town, free WiFi that reaches out to the other side (facing Runza) is the best signal.”

“Visited here last Friday. Hadn't been to this town since I played high school football there. Stopped at Scotty's that a friend of mine highly recommended. Thought it was steak night. Wrong! Saturday is steak night. We had to settled for the "special" of the night. "Chicken fried steak with home made mashed potatoes and corn". Now I have lived in TX for many years and know my chicken fried steak. This was NOT chicken fried steak!! This was a meal taken out of frozen food box and warmed up. It was not something I would be proud to serve if I owned this place. Reviewed my bill the next day and discovered I was charged $.50 for 2 glasses of WATER!!! Water??? Really??!!! I would maybe think this if there hadn't been two of us ordering dinner but we did and still, they charged us. Needless to say, we won't be back and this very disappointing trip here. I'm glad the town has someplace for the folks to gather but I would be ashamed to serve that food!”
