“Best authentic Mexican restaurant in GI! Was pleasantly surprised by the tacos , so very delicious. We only tried the beef. My husband won a flag prize @ a golf tourney 4 the humane society & he won a taco box & a bottle of tequila from here. There was enough food 2 feed an army in this taco box, and so delicious! Best tacos I've eaten in GI. Grilled not greasy & full of tender shredded beef & lots of cheese. Grilled 2 perfection, corn tortillias Rice & beans. Lots of toppings / fresh & lots of salsa / sauces, onions & cilantro, limes, onions were grilled & fresh cut whichever you preferred. It was such a cute little place on 4th street, bright decor & lots of children in there, much iced cream & what not made with iced cream. Didn't try any of that, but a great place 2 get food 4 a large group. Will order from there when my family comes to town next time. I was impressed by how friendly they all were & how great the food was, we were not expecting such large amounts of food, maybe 2 dozen shredded beef tacos.& all the fixings. We were on the phone calling people 2 come over & help us eat it. GREAT FOOD! Good service, I called ahead & placed the order just because I had never been there & wasn't sure what 2 expect. WOW is all I can say. We will do this again 4 a family gathering after the holiday, it will feed our large group, easily. A Diamond in the rough in GI. Very busy place. I can see why! Best golf flag prize ever! Thanks 2 the owners 4 a very delicious meal & leftovers 4 many! Also perfect 4 game day! Great food! Great staff! Thank you 4 donating 2 the Humane Society golf tournament! “New restaurant. They had plenty of help. Staff was well trained. Food was great. Had to wait in line to check out, but they said their point of sale system had not arrived yet. That was the only problem and they will soon have a solution! Great job!“
“Authentic Mexican cuisine is a great lunch date. Sanchez is right up there. We had delicious chilis reiano (cheese stuffed in a pablo pepper).I chose a combination plate (beef burrito, carnitas taco, and beef enchilada). I give the carnitas an A or 5 whereas the beef a 3+.So for lunch with 1 ice tea and a water, $22. Maybe a little spendy. The adventure of exploring the culture of something other than corporate...pre-made food is always a great choice. JK“
“Some of the best Mexican food in town. Been coming here since I was a kid. The food never disappoints always hot and delicious. They got the best al pastor meat in Grand island and I've tried plenty of other places here in town and none of them compare.“
“Great tacos! This place has a counter where you order for dine in, and a drive thru. We went on Taco Tuesday, luckily right after opening. I expected tiny street tacos in the 5 pack deal but they were huge! Chicken or beef, lots of lettuce and cheese atop. Some of us tried the enchiladas and specialty tacos off the regular menu and those were even tastier. All comes on a plastic tray. On Tuesday the place was packed solid the whole time, with a steady stream in the drive thru. Great lunch deal!“
“Nobody was open on New Years Day, and I was visiting family and needed some lunch. Passed by here and saw an open sign and thought hey a few tacos would be great. Nope, not here. No tacos in sight, it's all coastal style Mexican food and it is really good. The seafood stew was steller in a Molcajete, with a deep, thick, red spicy broth chock full of perfectly prepared fish, octopus, oysters, prawn and scallops. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, the place was clean and well kept. Thanks for such a good lunch.“
“We stopped by on an Saturday night and had a great experience. The chips, salsa and crema were tasty. The margaritas were perfect. We ordered a variety of items, tacos, quesadillas, burritos and fajitas and everything was great. The service and atmosphere were both amazing. It's really a beautiful restaurant. All around great experience.“
“I got recommended this place by a friend. I'm glad they told me about this place, or else I wouldn't have found a new favorite restaurant. The food is always made by order and feels like you're eating food at home. Wholesome, well made food. Places like this are hard to come across these days.“
“Great prices, all the comfort foods you need from Home. Their fruit selection is good, they have great prices in meats, chicken, pork, etc. I Like that we can get the foods that we typically cannot find around the area. Candies, medicine ?, etc Definitely worth a visit for all things Mexico ??“
“This was my first time here. What amazing food. But I HAD to post a picture of this absolute monster of a burrito. I used a regular coca cola can for comparison. This thing is insane. And sooooooooo good. I couldn’t finish it. This is my new favorite spot! I highly recommend it.“
