It's always fun to go to El Toro even on a slow night. Unfortunately, as the Mexican-American community grows in our area and the restaurants get so much more authentic, they seem to be kind of lagging behind. Even though they are very much authentic. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the food was delicious and brought out to us very quickly. A very calming atmosphere, not overcrowded, and the meal for two of us was very affordable. Will definitely be visiting here again!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are available regularly and select dishes can be made dairy free upon request to the server.

The portion sizes were huge!!! Food was mediocre. Carne asada was dry but had good flavor. The queso dip was grainy and had no flavor as well. The chips and salsa were good! The service was not friendly. They did the bare minimum.
