“This is a local family owned and operated authentic SUPER delicious restaurant (hence the 5 stars). There is always parking available. The employees are ALWAYS attentive and helpful for "new to Indian cuisine" diners. Those of us who have dined here for many years can trust consistently good like homemade food and speedy service. Takeout rocks! In addition to your meal, the veggie samosas and house Naan are great! ...and the Dahl is fantastic!!! Perhaps even my favorite. ?Vegetarian options: As with most Indian restaurants, there is no shortage of vegetarian options.“
“Hands down the best Indian food. Ever since Mughils closed, finding good Indian food is hard to find. The samosas with the chutney sauce, the coconut shrimp curry with the rice, and the service is fantastic. I was at Valero to fill gas but food from a gas station this just hits different. Will definitely come back to grab and try more.“
“Authentic Indian that doesn't cut corners in spices or preparation. The baigan Bartha had a delightful smoky flavor that only comes from oven roasting eggplant for hours. The paneer makahani was rich in spices and I could drink the sauce up like soup. Tip: Open for takeout only and they offer a cash discount.“
“Excellent as always! We had to shift our reservation with weather, and then some in the party were unable to make it in the end, everything was seamlessly handled. Food and wine were delicious, our server was friendly and helpful. It was a busy weekend dinner, and food came out promptly. Thank you!“
“Genuinely one of the best places I've eaten at, cannot recommend enough. My only gripe is the fact that they're not open in the afternoons, but otherwise it's perfect.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian, vegan, and I'm pretty sure gluten free options are all available here!“
“I personally love to sit at the window and people watch over an extraordinary and not to mention CLEAN (halal is the correct word, I believe) food!! I've met Omar 2x and he is a delightful, intelligent and handsome young man! I will visit this place again and again!! **Edited as it should have been a 5 STAR REVIEW!!**Dietary restrictions: I do have dietary restrictions... Too many to list... And they have no problem customizing your menu!Parking: Depending on how busy it is downtown...parking could be a challenge on the street but if you can walk a few blocks-its worth it!Kid-friendliness: Idk if it's "kid friendly" however they don't frown on or evil eye children being children. Now.... running around like tasmanian devils may illicit different results.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap spots are available in front of the restaurant and along the street!“
