This restaurant was a really fun small town vibe experience. Dan was amazing on the organ all evening and would honestly come just for the cold beers and hear him play. The tastee was okay, nothing special. Same with all the food we ordered. My friend got the sour cream apple pie and liked it! Food takes about 35 min, so be patient. The best part of this place is the atmosphere honestly. Feels like a time capsule.
Lee's Chicken is for the old fashioned lovers. Shoe string onion rings are the best one could hope for. We visit Lee's when we need a fried food fix...our staple order always consists of gizzards, onion rings, and of course, their fried chicken. I walk Pioneers Park often, but their water system isn't always available during summer months. Lee's Chicken welcomed a straggler with no money on hand when in need of a drink. Good ownership, good staff. Will always support.
