“Decided to try out Los Gonzalez this evening with my wife and teenage children after finding this location on Google maps and reading reviews. We were glad to find that this location isn’t “inside Dollar General” as noted on the map! Instead, it’s just at the opposite end of the same strip mall. Unassuming, come-as-you-are, and unpretentious, this place has an easy feel and the hostess was friendly and graciously helped us navigate the menu and our order. The chicken nachos, cup of corn, birria quesadillas, and birria tacos were all served hot and were spot on! Generous servings, consume, toppings, and salsas. We took our food next door into the adjacent bar which is permissible and allowed for me to buy a beer to accompany my meal! Food items are served in disposable containers/dishes, eaten with plastic utensils, and the very reasonable prices reflect that. Really good food and an overall fun dining experience!“
“The food was amazing. I ordered their combo 1 which is a burrito with beans and rice. Super fulfilling. Was only 7.50 for the order. In my opinion for the amount of food and the size of the burrito definitely worth it.Parking: They have limited parking spots out front but there are open spots if you can find one on the side streets.Kid-friendliness: They have options for child size entrees. Be mindful though the child size is still a ton of food too but good cause most kids tend to eat a little then later want more food.“
“This is an independent owned restaurant based on the Chipotle idea. Build your own burritos, tacos and bowls. Lots of food in the carnitas bowl I got. Not very Mexican tho. Queso was runny, asked for a thicker one and they fixed it. The chips are really good. Didn't have Salsa tho. It's good, but probably will not go again.“
“Nice place to go to have a great lunch and dinner with like an old friend and you want to talk and catch up with them ? and greatest selection of ? ? drinks and wine ?and a large selection of food and the service is #1 always available to you and always with a smile on! ❤️ prompt and “
“Been a while since I'd been to Super Taco and was afraid that maybe it wouldn't be as good as I'd remembered. Nope. Fantastic food, huge servings (commiserate with the higher price per plate), great service, tasty salsa choices. I love this place.“
“Food was absolutely delicious and the service was wonderful on a Saturday morning. I even asked for a weird order(huevos con papa in a chicken fajita burrito) and they accepted. It was awesome and I HIGHLY recommend anyone who wants delicious authentic Mexican cuisine to look no further than Mi Lindo Mexico! My server was Kaylee who was very kind and accommodating.“
“Such a great restaurant!! They give you mild and spicy salsa along with bean dip for the chips. Husband had soup with extremely tender pork in it. I had the appetizer platter with lots of leftovers. The waiter is very friendly and noticed when we needed refills.“
“I arrived a little past noon, so there were already 5 people ahead of me, and yet, I got my food in less than 10 minutes. Ordered a horchata (one size only, and it was giant), and the tacos tijuana (4 birria tacos). ???? Generous portions, SUPER tasty, and the salsa sauces had the best kick. Support your local taco truck.“
“I really love this place and all of their food. The only critical thing I would say is ordering takeout is kind of a pain when you go to pick it up. In my experience they don't write names on your order or put your ticket on the bag. So you go to pick up your food and the bags are all on a table and you have no idea if one is yours. Sometimes I've sat there for 5 minutes waiting to ask someone if one of the bags was mine. Now I generally holler in the back kitchen to ask someone. I wish they would label the orders. Back to the food though, they give generous portions and it always taste amazing. I recommend eating in as It's a nice atmosphere and the staff are all amazing. There is not a dish on the menu that I don't like. I cannot recommend enough!“
“First time here. Don't know how I've missed it. This restaurant is a very nice change of pace to the usual Mexican Central American fare. I had the 3 taco pollos (chicken). They were very good and reasonably priced. The radish slices and fried pepper were a nice side addition. Loved the fried tortilla chips and salsa. Chips were not the typical generic variety. ?? I will be back often to sample more of the menu. ✌️??✝️“
“My friends and I come in almost every Tuesday for Taco Tuesday! We have such a great time and are always ready to come back next Tuesday. Alex always takes great care of us and always says hello with a smile every time we walk in. 10/10 experience every time!“
“My wife and I had a great experience! Food was tasty and came out quickly. Mexican Coke was great. Above all else, the service was outstanding. We were lucky enough to have Omar take care of us. He could not have done better. We’ll be back!“
“Super fries: 10/10. Horchata: 10/10. Queso: 10/10. Food is always delicious and freshly made. Nothing tastes frozen or canned. The employees are always super friendly too. I recommend is place to everyone I know who comes to town. Food comes out really fast too. The inside of this location is very warm and homey as well as clean and neat looking. I moved across town, but I still make the drive for the super fries (I recommend the steak with it).“
“Love D'Leon's for my "fast food Mexican fix". Why bother with Tex Mex when you can get the real deal. I almost always get a chicken burrito which is packed with meat and cream cheese. I also love the breakfast burritos. I order the two burrito meal for at least a couple meals worth. You can often customize to your liking (I love adding green chili), just ask! I do wish the beans and rice were a bit more flavorful but that's not what I go here for. Some of the locations also have jalapeño poppers. Nothing fancy - just the frozen ones you deep fry but I like to add an order sometimes. Service is usually pretty friendly, lots of options on the menu. For housemade, the prices aren't bad. Support local!“
“Everything is excellent, from the food to the desserts they offer. I loved the horchata water and my favorite ice cream was the mint chocolate chip one. If you're unsure about what flavor of ice cream to try, just ask them for a sample and they'll gladly give it to you. Lastly, the girls who helped me were very friendly and smiling. I loved its vibe!“
“We stopped here to have dinner on the way home from a hospital visit Visiting a friend just due to the fact that it was on our way home. The food and the employees everything about the place was wonderful. We will definitely will be back and would highly recommend going here.“
“Amazing authentic food. Everything I've had here is amazing, the service was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the street tacos because they're definitely the best in Lincoln. Totally worth the visit and I'll be back here in the future.Parking: Parking available in both the front and the back of the building.“
“Spreading MORE local love! At Nebraska Family Dentistry, we know the importance of keeping smiles bright and healthy. But this holiday season, we wanted to spread another kind of joy: gift cards to delicious places in Lincoln...and this time it was Hacienda Real!Hacienda Real is more than just a restaurant; it's a vibrant hub of the community, bringing warmth and flavor to our city. They share our values of supporting locals, using fresh ingredients, and creating a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels like family. Huge thank you for being a great asset to our community!“
“Haven't add taco Inn for a long time, No particular reason. Was driving by and hungry, so I pulled into the drive through...wow all the food was amazingly fresh and delicious. I will make sure to go to Taco Inn more often. Oh and by the way it was dirt cheap ..Thank you ?“
“Food is always delicious. Love it they have a gluten free menu and the food is served on special plates that have never had gluten on them. Server was very knowledgeable about celiac disease and the problem of cross contamination. GREAT JOB TICO'S.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free was a must. My sister has severe Celiac disease (sensitive to wheat, barley, rye and oatmeal). They understand it. My sister could relax and enjoy the food.“
“Absolutely amazing restaurant! If you are looking for an authentic Salvadoran restaurant this is THE place! They offer Salvadoran food with some Mexican options. We just discovered this gem but we’ve been already there twice! So many delicious options to try! They offer pupusas, yuka, pasteles, tamales, platano frito maduro…amazing! The staff is really friendly and the service is fast. Added bonus: the music is great! Is you are in Lincoln don’t miss the opportunity to try this place. I cannot recommend it enough!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options!Parking: Right in front of the restaurant“
“My first time visiting, the restaurant was busy and vibrant, and although there were many people having conversations all around us, it didn't ever sound like we were in a crowded, noisy restaurant. Somehow, it managed to be well-lit, yet cozy. Warm lighting and intimate seating. No glaring industrial lights here! Our server was an absolute delight, she was extremely cordial and friendly, it was like chatting with one of my goddaughters while she was helping me explore vegetarian options. I had my first ever arepas, and they won't be my last. Just completely delicious and flavorful. You can tell the food is made with great care and attention to the quality of the ingredients. Beautiful and delicious.Prices seemed very reasonable to me, especially for the quality of the food (excellent) and portions had options on many items so you can just order what you're able to eat, or choose a couple of options by ordering one each of a few items. (Fantastic if you are a person who has a hard time choosing between favorites!)I'm so glad to see something occupying that space, and I plan to return and recommend to friends and family. Positively stunning experience.Vegetarian options: The server was knowledgeable about which items on the menu were or could be made as vegetarian options. Equally, she was clear about which items did not meet vegetarian criteria without having to go check with the kitchen. She knew that there was stock in both the beans and rice, but that the black beans were vegetarian friendly. The ability to make inquiries about what was vegetarian and have the server answered confidently was very refreshing.Parking: This building was originally constructed to be a large spa and fitness facility and there is ample parking available on a surface lot. The building now houses several smaller businesses including this delightful restaurant.“
“This fast food restaurant is really one of the best! The food here is delicious and carefully prepared, and the service is always quick and friendly. The atmosphere is fun and comfortable, making it an ideal place for everyone. The menu is varied and has delicious options to suit all tastes. The prices are reasonable and the quality is excellent, making it the perfect choice for a quick and delicious meal. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to eat.“
“The only place you can get the best gyros in town! ? They previously had a location downtown but later moved location! Regardless of where they're at I'm glad to have found the same place that still sells the best gyros in town. The service is consistent and so kind! He's simply the best at what he does ?“
“Watch the price of your purchase on the grocery side. 3 times I have caught the cashier making up wrong prices. Wanted to throw me out cuz I didn't speak spanish, and was using food stamps. +$10 for a 12pk of Coca-Cola, $11.50 for a Pepsi 3 liter!! I'm not even in Mexico and I'm getting screwed cuz they don't know English or is it because I didn't understand Espanol in AMERICA!! AND IM A DISABLED VETERAN!!Wheelchair accessibility: Non-existent in the grocery dept. In the restaurant yes you can, but don't buy groceries.“
“El Portero is a wonderful option for south central Lincoln. Located in the Williamsburg neighborhood they offer authentic Mexican cuisine at fair prices with a great taste. My suggestion pass on the normal margarita and go with the higher priced Blue Agave, its to die for. Happy eating.Kid-friendliness: I saw lots of families last time. Kids portions available.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access here folks“
“Was really disappointed this time! Ordered 2 Taco salads. They came out and maybe filled a 1/4 of the bowl. The bowls themselves were not very crisp or had their normal flavor. The meat was greasy and the lettuce was shredded, then wasn't, wilted then fresh. Very little cheese if any. My mom couldn't even eat hers! I was starving so I smothered mine in sour cream and forced it down. Very sad cuz we picked this as a treat after a long day!!“
“Ever since working downtown this location has become one of my favorite places to have lunch. Staff are always very friendly, delicious food, clean atmosphere (I’ve caught myself almost dancing to the music, too). I recommend it for a great quick bite to eat!“
“Great place and even greater food! A while back I ordered their Shrimp Quesadilla, and it was so delicious! I went with a party of 11 people, and they were so kind when they seated us! With the amiable staff, amazing food, and the family-friendly atmosphere I give this place a 10/10!!“
“Best Pork Verde I have ever had! The meat was so tender and the verde sauce was spicy but not too hot and made from peppers and tomatillos, not onions!I highly recommend the MX coleslaw and rice that came with it.Wait staff was excellent, too!“
“Cream Cheese Chicken Enchiladas is the best most delicious and absolutely fantastic dish!! Staff will tell you the same.Helpful and friendly staff and great service. One of my Lincoln favorites. Great ambience and and cozy, you could consider it romantic.Good location and easy parking. We enjoy going multiple times per year.“
“We dined in on Easter Sunday 4/9/23 at noon. We had the Carne Asada, Enchiladas Michoacanas and Dos Tamales De Pollo (substituted with Pork). I believe we know tasty Mexican food and we prefer authentic. Grew up with it in TX and seek out Mexican restaurants and cafes north of the Red River. Folks this is a "must stop" if you're in the area. I prefer great food versus some cafe interior with the latest decor. If you're a purest, then this is your place. The meal was fresh and a delight to the taste buds. Prices were appropriate. If you leave Lincoln without trying this place, you messed up. If you live in Lincoln and have not tried this place, there is no excuse. We will be back for another meal. Great job by the folks at Neveria San Marcos.“
“Taqueria El Rey is a great mom and pop Mexican restaurant. The food seems authentic, tastes delicious, and it was plentiful at a good price. I'm a nerdy caucasian guy but I felt welcomed and well served by the staff. The restaurant itself is small and basic but it's clean and well maintained. 4.5/5 stars, highly recommend!“
“The bean burritos (and the beef & bean burritos) are so much better than the burritos you find at other taco places. The tortilla tastes better, the beans taste better, even the packets of taco sauce taste better than their competitors. I wish there was a Taco Inn in the Bellevue/Omaha area so I could eat there more frequently!“
“We love this place...and Everytime we are here everything tastes really good and just SLIGHTLY different.... Meaning they don't just have a bunch of frozen items that are premade they warm up....HUGE plus for Mexican food. Drinks are great too...and they'll make flour chips upon request which is a huge bonus in my book. The family that owns this place does an awesome job!! Sometimes service is a bit slower....but it's only when you can tell they are BUSY... So it's never a matter of the service being slow and wondering what the employees are even doing... You can see them moving like crazy. Makes waiting during the "slow" much more reasonable and understandable. Usually food always comes out much quicker than we think it will!“
