been coming here for many years and I do their maintenance very clean very respectful and some of the best authentic American Mexican food I've ever had. Even the owner machismo may even say hello.
I would agree they have the best queso birria tacos in Lincoln, seeing as I have tried every spot in Lincoln multiple times. Also the most affordable.Small spot so limited dining. Chips and salsa when dining in. I recommend going at 11 to 12, or after 1-1:30. I’ve never been on the Friday or Saturday.Parking: Limited parking.

Taqueria El Rey is a great mom and pop Mexican restaurant. The food seems authentic, tastes delicious, and it was plentiful at a good price. I'm a nerdy caucasian guy but I felt welcomed and well served by the staff. The restaurant itself is small and basic but it's clean and well maintained. 4.5/5 stars, highly recommend!
