I ordered chow mein and sweet and soup pork. Neither was anything like what i have had before. The sweet/sour pork was just chunks of pork, battered and fried. The sweet sour sauce was watery and not sweet. Usually i have gotten peppers, pineapple, onions and more as part if the meal. The chow mein had a watery consistency, no chow mein noodles as i have had before, vegetables were mushy and overcooked. None of what i ordered was like what i have had before other places. Update 2023...I think of this place often. The food is genuinely authentic, while that does not say a lot but what does is the family atmosphere. The daughters that I have seen grow up over the last 10 years. I highly recommend going in and sitting at a table to eat.Family run restaurant that is friendly and FAST. My wife is from the east coast and knows good Chinese. This is the only spot in west Omaha that really impressed her. My meal was also fabulous. I asked for them to make my dish extra spicy and the cook did amazing at a sufficient level of heat for my more extreme palet. All ingredients were fresh and plentiful, and the flavors were all present. Priced very well for the quality, very happy to find a place that doesn't require us to drive across town for good Chinese fare.
