“We had the loveliest experience at Yoshitomo. The menu is expansive and nothing we tried disappointed. We tried something from every section of the menu and it left us adequately full and delighted! I don’t remember our waiter’s name, but he was the best and gave excellent recommendations :)“
“Amazing experience at the downtown location! Waitress and manager made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant (and we had a large bachelorette group) on a busy Saturday. Will always recommend to everyone and anyone!! The best time!“
“The negima and buta were delicious! The chasu buns had too much sauce that overwhelmed the whole dish and the Omaha Crunch Roll was fine.I was surprised at how many items were unavailable since it required a reservation to get in. The service is unenthusiastic but not bad. Overall could be better but nothing was glaringly bad.“
“The vibe of Isla del Mar is fantastic. It feels like a south of the border fiesta every time. The menu provides lots of choices, and the service is attentive. We had drinks with dinner in the past, which added to the fun, but today was lunch, so no drinks. All in all a good visit, and at first, the mariachi band added to the vibe in a good way. It got to be a little much as they seemed to be REALLY loud and right on top of our table for our whole visit, making it hard to converse and hard to enjoy the music too.“
“This is the best sushi place in town. There's no other way to put it. I usually don't factor my interactions with staff into how much I enjoy a restaurant, but every single person here was very genuinely friendly. As we got carded for our drinks, we only barely mentioned that we had just moved here to Omaha. Our server and the manager came out with two flights of sake for us on the house to celebrate! And of course the sushi was the best we ever had. If you like raw fish, get the tuna tataki sashimi for absolute sure!Thank you for such a memorable evening!“
“One of the better sushi places in Omaha, although it still can’t compare to Yoshitomo. They are particularly good at their sauces that come with the sushi rolls. However, the yellowtail sashimi I had today was extremely thin with 5 pieces for a whopping $16. California would never. They don’t give you as many pieces per sushi roll compared to on the coast either, and especially for the price, this is a let down. I honestly would not come back unless I want to be hungry after I finish the meal, or I want to be out over $100. I would rather wait for a flight to an ocean city. (But if you are vegetarian, their options are fantastic! Some of the best vegetarian rolls I’ve ever had)Vegetarian options: I am not vegetarian, but their options are delicious.“
“Our weekly go to for sushi! Nancy and her staff go above and beyond and we appreciate them all! The food is always delicious and never disappoints! Love this place!Kid-friendliness: We don’t have little ones but we always see children in the restaurant.“
“Second time here. I got the spicy tuna both times. Both were tasty flavor on top of flavors on top of flavors. YUMMY!!! I don't remember all of the ingredients that got put on top. I should have respected the Thai chilies more. They have the first kimchi I have ever liked. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT !“
“Hubby wanted to surprise me after a really bad day. My usual place is closed until dinner hours, so he brought me a California roll and an Alaskan roll from here, along with a miso soup. He kept scrutinizing my every bite. I paid no mind, and kept eating. I love the spicy fish inside the Alaskan roll so much! The rolls are very generous in size and super fresh. The miso soup was even more flavorful than my usual place. Hubby said the value was even better too! I'll definitely be a returning customer to try their specialty rolls. Thank you for preparing with love and for the speed of your service. It's just what this sad momma needed!“
“I tried this Japanese food here for the first time, and the food was so good. I tried the lunch combo, which included tempura, sushi, rice, soup, and salad, and it was filling for one person. I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere there was also good. I still miss the Japanese ambiance, but I absolutely love it and will definitely visit again someday. The location is on central Omaha, at the intersection of Dodge and 72nd, making it easily accessible. The price is also reasonable.“
“Longstanding Omaha staple. Milton’s chicken is one of my favorite dishes anywhere. Generous portions of higher grade chicken served with asparagus, onions, and red peppers in a flavorful sauce. I do not include the mushrooms which come with the dish. Served with steamed rice and miso soup. Consistently a top notch meal at a reasonable price.“
“Always fast, friendly, and fresh! Their signature bowl menu has some delicious options but I like to build my own! Today, I learned their sister store is Akarui, the best ramen place downtown. They sell their boba here! Must try. My best lunch time treat. The price and location couldn't be better.“
“Strategically concealed between an unassuming Mexican restaurant and a cigar store, a tantalizing display of what's possible with flavor, lies behind 2 swinging glass doors.Greeted by a waitstaff that will eventually know you by name, you will find yourself seated in an environment that will only be out done by the cuisine. In years to come, you'll find yourself reminiscing on the day you first had their Pork Bibimbab. "...and the sushi? How did they pull that off?"-you'll think to yourself.Join the rest of us who have enhanced our, all-to-brief, human experience by dining at the Maru Sushi Korean Grill. Seize the day.“
“Delicious drinks and a great assortment of options. Had a kiddo with us who's never had a drink before and they helped her decide what she'd like (strawberry yakult with strawberry popping boba, which she loved). They also have an assortment of fun gacha machines which were surprisingly very reasonably priced!Kid-friendliness: A lot of kid friendly drink options and staff was very helpful and patient with decision making.“
“Ordered on Christmas day and they were off of the walls busy. They were running around nonstop, and although they were behind on orders it was definitely not because of them. The teriyaki chicken is a sweeter teriyaki, and if you like that it's fantastic!“
“Great place for date night or parties of 12 or more. Very clean, comfortable and modern. Check out entire menu, many offerings other than sushi. Friend had baked salmon & said it was delicious. Never had a bad meal at Ponzu and my wife really likes their specialty cocktails. Every restaurant owned and operated by the DiPrima Family is a solid choice. Jimi D's in Aksarben Village and Jackson Street Tavern in the Old Market are awesome as well. Enjoy!“
“This was such a fun experience, I would definitely visit again! The small plates on the conveyor were great for getting a broader variety of things to try without committing to a whole roll. The kids loved seeing all the options glide by (the octopus salad and the desserts were their favorites to point out). Ordering from the touch-screen had the bonus entertainment of getting the items delivered by the train. The food was excellent, and our server was too. This is the place to go for a great sushi experience.“
“First time trying this and I liked the meal! The egg roll was great although I don't normally like them. The sweet chili sauce this came with was my favorite part! The orange chicken itself wasn't anything spectacular, I thought it could have used more flavor depth, but not a bad meal at all. It would have been nice to see a fried rice option on their menu as this rice was plain. If not, I would have loved soy sauce or extra orange sauce poured on it (I didn't ask so it's possibly they would do this).“
“Loved all the food. Our first waitress was either super busy or did not pay attention. Another young man seen us looking lost and helped us. He was amazing. I don't want to butcher his name but started with a J. Great place will be returning for another sushi boat.“
