We ate at Tired Texan last night. We weren't sure what to expect but we were delighted with what we were served. Each of us had some pulled pork. It was tender and not chopped up into tiny pieces. There were two sauce options - we enjoyed both, but liked the less-spicy version best because it had a more robust flavor. The cornbread was perfect - not sweet, like other places. Family owned. Locally a star. Dining room has a great layout to keep noise minimal for a low key meal.Food is excellent if you want a particular item call ahead! Right now they are working on getting a second smoker running, between that and shortages they run out of their brisket pretty quickly on the weekends.Haystacks, cornbread muffins, and their brisket are the must haves for me.

By a huge margin, the best BBQ in Omaha, or any other place I've been. It's on the other side of Omaha from where I live, but I get there as often as I can. Well worth the trip.
