Located right off the Platte River in the Louisville area, it is a fun place to stop in for a drink with a variety of good eats on the menu, and the room to stay awhile and enjoy being right off the water. “I did drive thru. The person was pleasant and easy to understand. I placed a fairly big order for my family, $43. The food was ready quickly. Several special orders. Everything was right. It was hot. I definitely recommend them.”

“We ordered the birria and Korean carnitas street tacos, elote tots, and the birria torta. We also got an aqua Fresca and a Pacifico beer. Our total was only $40 which is very reasonable. The food was really good, nothing mind blowing, but I loved all the different options they have. It seems to be mostly a blend of Mexican and Asian cuisine. It’s nice they have alcohol there if you want a couple beers, but their mango aqua Fresca was delicious! The elote tots were really good too! I did think the tacos and birria torta could have used more seasoning, slightly bland. But for the price and amount of food we got, I would say it was a good value. Very unique menu that I haven’t seen in Omaha!”

“I took some time before I wrote this. We were able to sit as soon as we entered. Our server was very friendly, as well as the other person we talked to. It was a comfortable atmosphere. We asked a question about a menu item and received a proper answer. My wife had the Chicken Alfredo, while I had a Canadian Bacon Pizza. Our wait was an appropriate time. The portion sizes were very good. My pizza was a thin and crispy type, with a flavor a bit different from others I get from other business's. I liked it quite well. Lots of cheese and meat and a good sauce. The ONLY reason I dropped my rating a star.....my wife's Chicken Alfredo was barely warm. In all fairness, she did NOT call it to their attention. She is shy. She said if they had come near us right after we received the food, she would have said something. Raising kids she got used to eating luke-warm or cold food. I could NOT have eaten it. The flavor was good It had a lot of large pieces of black pepper. She ended up having an allergic reaction to a seasoning. We don't know which one. I did NOT deduct a star for this. She has issues with spices and that is NOT their fault. We were never offered drink refills. Don't know if they are free or not. We probably won't return due to her allergic reaction. If I did want to go myself, I would very much enjoy another pizza!!!! Summary, good food, good atmosphere, and friendly service.”

The Ruben pizza was out of this world if I could give it a 10☆ I'd say 11.Hands down in my top 10 of all time.Had the Red harvest as well wich is a deluxe pepperoni & definitely one worth having more than once or twice. Also had the Vannila ice that to me is a glorified cheesy garlic bread but with the home made ranch dipping sauce made it worthy of a meal all in its own. If your after a great pizza look no further there pizza is thick & fulfilling. They greeted at the door with a awsome hello. Can't say enuff about this experience for sure.”

“Everything at J's Smokehouse is great! I have been there probably a dozen times and order something different every time. The food is tasty and comes out fast. The dining area has plenty of space and the American Legion bar is a pleasant bonus. I have seen the owner on several occasions running food and checking in with his customers. 5 stars for sure!”

I especially enjoyed the beautiful Starry Night cocktail, others in our group loves the orange julius cocktail and creme brulee martini. The crab and artichoke dip starter was so delicious and I could easily go here for that alone! The Argentinan Pork was delicious as well! Amazing flavor! We were so full we didn't try any desserts but the dinner and drinks were wonderful! We were seated right away and our server, Stacy, was helpful in describing items on the menu. Our granddaughters had the chicken strip meal and loved it. I had the chicken fried steak sandwich, which was delicious. My wife had the chicken fried steak meal and enjoyed it. She also tried the fried testicle and said it wasn't bad. We all enjoyed the visit.”
