Veano's Italian Kitchen 2

Ordered some subs from here for lunch with my work crew yesterday. I had italian sub. The subs were gigantic, but the quality of the cold cuts seemed low. The sub was so packed with stuff that it was hard to eat. I could only eat half and the quality of the sub didn't justify keeping it so I did what I almost never do and threw away the leftovers. We stopped by Concord on the way from Vermont to Boston, and decided to try Veanos for lunch. It's a nice Italian restaurant not too far from the freeway, and it was pretty convenient to pick up sandwiches to go. Based off of the lady at the register's recommendation, I got an Italian Sandwich. My friends ordered some others, and we went across the river to eat at a park outside. Honestly? Average neighborhood Italian restaurant. Chicken parm was ok, spaghetti was cooked well and salad was typical. Garlic bread was warmed bread with melted garlic butter...no crispness at all. Staff was pleasant enough but I won't be heading back any time soon.
