Absolutely love this place. I have been lucky enough that almost everytime I visit North Conway, my hotel or airbnb just happens to be right near Moat, and I end up coming here for lunch and dinner pretty much everytime! Beer is amazing, food is amazing and the staff and service are amazing. Sherri was super sweet and made sure I had everything I needed. Nothing hits the spot like one of their delicious beers and ribs after a day of hiking. If you don't come here during your visit, you're missing out!

Good food, good beer, and good service at reasonable prices. The mushroom ravioli and fish and chips from the specials menu were great. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make it past the specials menu to try some of the smokehouse options but I look forward to coming back!

My wife and I love to find local breweries while traveling. Moat mountain came recommended by another local vendor, and I was totally in the mood for BBQ, so it was a must hit.Starting with food: The BBQ was amazing. The meat was tender, the sauce flavorful and the ratio between the two was perfect. The portion size was insane for the price! I'd love to tell you how amazing the mashed potatoes were, but I didn't have the room to eat them. And if you want to talk about variety. They had everyrhing from standard pub food to hand-roll gnocchi... Who expects that in a bar? And it was amazing!The Brews: We order that sampler, which was one of every house beer... All but the IPAs (which I generally tend to hate) were off the hook! We got a couple cans, and a growler to go. Neither the cans or the growler survived the weekend. Everything was amazing! I'm looking forward to going back!Is 8 hours too long of a drive for dinner? Honestly, for that beer... NO! The food is good. The beer is good. The wait is consistent. The staff is hit or miss. Out of four visits, twice we had nasty staff. You're not missing anything if you don't eat here, but the food is good enough if you do. Hope you get pleasant wait staff though.

Moat Mountain impressed me from start to finish. Super long wait. Solved with beers and an order of wings. Not sure what to get. Solved by waitress having amazing interaction. Every suggestion made the conversation flow about what great choices were made. The brisket sandwich with raisin bread was a standout, as was the pastrami with aioli sauce and the burger with BBQ sauce. Overall, Moat Mountain delivers exceptional service and delicious flavors. Can't wait to return!

Very cool place. The food was great. Service was wonderful, and most importantly, the beer selection was on point! The meatloaf was really good. I was quite impressed. The nachos were huge! Everything we ordered was very good! And BONUS... they sat our group in a private little room! We had zero complaints and would definitely go back!

I had a great experience at Moat Mountain! Must try this place if you're in the area! While I'm not much of a beer drinker, there was still something here for me! I was impressed with their chicken and portobello sandwich. Great taste and great portions! No complaints about the service. Perfect spot to socialize with friends and family.

They did take out for my family 9 meals so we could celebrate some birthdays at home with my mom who just had surgery. Food was amazing and ready when they said it would be.

We waited over an hour for a table. Ok, Saturday night in N Conway. Our waitress was attentive, but the ribs were dried out and cold. It really wasn't worth the wait. This place is great for beers, eat elsewhere.

Hostile condescending manager appeared at my table after innocently asking my waitress for a straw. He gave me a HUGE lecture, it was so embarrassing. The waitress could have just said we don't offer them. I'm guessing he is the keeper of the straws since he was somehow summoned to come trotting in on his high horse to deliver said straw and then proceed to admonish me for my simple request. I got belittled and humiliated in the dining room because this guy apparently has nothing better to do.
