We had dinner before attending a concert at Tupelos. Our waitress Jody was fantastic - very animated and attentive. We had interaction with the restaurant manager and again very attentive. The food was average. The restaurant was moderately loud. If you are looking for a quiet meal, this is not the place. it's a restaurant with a pub type of atmosphere.

Unfortunately I can not recommend Compare. While being inside, the atmosphere is confusing and rather small..is it a cafe? Is it a dive bar? Is it a casino ? Is it a coffee shop ? It was not well kept - the lunch menu is very small and unorganized. The place is very dated and needs a face lift. The food was not authentic Italian. The chicken parm didn't come with cheese and the sauce tasted burnt

Great place to eat. The Stuffed mushrooms are amazing. The burgers are great. My wife had the chicken broccoli ziti and she loved it. My son had the steak and it was a perfect medium. My youngest son has the kids pasta and meatballs and ate it up. The portions are huge! We had lots of leftovers. The staff was friendly and took good care of us. Jaina was our waitress and she was awesome.

Went here on a Saturday night - service was excellent. The food was not very good. Everyone ordered the tour of Italy Chicken parm was dry. The lasagna had no cheese in it and had a bad taste.

Compare's atmosphere is a blend of breakfast place/cafe/ restaurant. There are pros and cons to it but this place has great potential. The breakfast is decent but not a "hey lets hit there" kind of place. A lot of service inconsistencies here. The dinner menu is great. There are so many' things that are top notch but you randomly end up with extreme duds. Ordered chix parm sub..ended up with the dinner. Very good except would like ziti or something else besides spaghetti. But not what I ordered after repeating it. Meatballs great as usual. Chix broc and ziti.. different story. If anything could have less effort pasta wise this was it. Not even close to enough wine sauce, half cooked broccoli (if that) and odd breaded chicken chunks. We did ask for breaded chicken but we may have got chicken nuggets. In the end for us what this place needs is a real staff and not teenager sons/kids etc cooking and serving the food. The owner needs to spend more time in the kitchen than chatting up customers.

Great experience and food! We dined here with the family on a Friday night. It was pretty crowded but we were seated within 20 minutes. All of our meals were hot and delicious. The chicken piccata and chicken Francais were perfect. The chicken and eggplant Parmesan was excellent and the portion size was tremendous! I highly recommend dining here!
Solid home style meal! The only thing better than the food was the staff. So welcoming and attentive. Drinks were amazing too.

We only went here because our normal diner was very busy. We walked down and found it to be pretty quiet. Dishes were dirty the coffee creamer was served in, service was bad, and the food was cold and was not overly good in flavor. We understand there is a staffing crisis, but if you can't provide the service, just don't open for the day. Our server was very nice, she did the best she could, but was clearly over extended. It's unfortunate the owner was not there to support her. I do not recommend.
