We had a solid experience at Daniel's. Based on other reviews, the food can be touch and go at times, but we enjoyed our meals. I loved the location and the river views. We were there in the middle of winter and there was a lot of snow on the ground adding to the views. The food was good, not great. Our server did an excellent job attending to us. We had a terrific server - the service was great from the welcoming person to the wait person. But the food was mediocre. Our salads (with chicken added to one, salmon to another) were just ok, nothing special. Everything needs updating.....

When it comes to a scenic view, we had a great table for our party of 6. Located on the banks of a river in Henniker, the setting was beautiful. I can just imagine how spectacular it would be in the fall. Our waitperson was lovely as were every person we had contact with that works there.
