I frequently visit Taka as the sushi is always on point. On this occasion, busy Saturday evening around 5:30, I prefer the bar area. The dining area is pleasant as well. I would make a reservations if you’re planning to dine during the popular times 5:30 pm and to maybe 8 pm. Bar area is first come first serve . Trendy, chic spot for excellent Japanese cuisine, dim sum and sushi. I absolutely love Taka. It's a must visit spot in Asbury Park. Everything was delicious. The sushi was so fresh. My favorite thing was probably the steamed dumplings but honestly the whole meal was just divine.

Nice dinner with family here tonight. Decided to get a hot meal instead of sushi and the Fish and Chips was off the charts. Super fresh, delicate and delicious, the fries were very good also. Shishito pepper app was amazing too. Very happy with the experience!
