I would definitely put this restaurant on your list as a must try!! The only problem we had was deciding what dishes we wanted to try. The menu has so many traditional Italian favorites but table next to us ordered the steak. It looks so delicious. I am coming back next time to give that a try.“

“There are four very good reasons why this highly rated restaurant is so hard to get into.First they only accept reservations two weeks in advance made over the telephone.Second, it’s tiny, around 35 tables, so demand outstrips seats available. I’d call it an intimate dining atmosphere.Third, the service is top notch that works as a precision team to pamper you. Waiter. Supporting staff. Table side Performers. But what’s most important, this is some of the finest Italian food you’ll ever eat.We started with classic clams casino - a special that evening and SOOOOO GOOD.Table side Caesar was a fun experience with a payoff - one of the best versions a I’ve had.My wife had the lobster tails and shrimp scampi combo with the most delish spinach side.I had the veal parm on the bone with classic side of spaghetti in red sauce.Unfeakingbelieveable.Ranks up there with the best fine Italian dining I’ve experienced as a traveling salesperson 30 years across the USA eating at the best of the best in Las Vegas, New York, Chicago, Los Angelos, London. This spot is Top 10 stuff.Drinks of bourbon old fashioneds were strong and perfectly stirred. My wife’s after dinner cappuccino was delish.“

Our entrees and salads tasted good, service was prompt and responsive, and the atmosphere was cool, old-school Jersey Italian. We arrived within 15 mins of the restaurant opening for dinner service and it seemed pretty full for that time. Would definitely return.“

“Charming bayside locals joint in AC!As a native to AC who has moved out of the region AC has some delightful surprises, even for the non-casino crowd. The concierge crew at the AC Convention Center recommended Scannicchios for a Thursday night post conference dinner. It was heartwarmingly friendly and the food was sone of the best in AC. Trust me I would know…. Long ago an old BF was the chef at Doc’s Oyster House. If you are looking for a home away from home, you could not ask for a better crew than their Thursday night trivia teams. Fun. Relaxing. Real folks who are friendly and cool. Enjoy!! Pro tip they will be expanding over the summer to make more room for more fun with more people.Dietary restrictions: The burrata and the pork were made perfectly for my gluten free allergy. The meatballs were great. They have an extensive wine list. The ambiance is great, good jazzy music like Sinatra, old black and white mafia movies on TVs on the wall and dimly lit, nice and relaxing. It was one of the best drinks I have ever had. The servers were on their toes. And the bar had a fun atmosphere. It was small but fun. We can't wait to go back. “Just came back from dinner here. Everything about it was wonderful: the setting, ambiance, menu choices, service, wine, apps, and entrees. The only thing that knocked it off of a 5 star rating? We were shocked by the portion size of the pasta trio sharing plates. Each portion of each of the three pastas was not even a half portion...only three or four forkfuls, at most, each. Not worth 58 USD. We would have been better off ordering two regular plates at 22-28 each, and sharing those. The pastas themselves were delicious, however! And, the carpaccio Girasole was the best carpaccio I have ever tasted.“

“Best restaurant experience I've had. Last year all I did was work work and work starting New Year's Eve. I promise my wife that I will take her out to every high restaurant Atlantic City. I am not gonna bad name or badmouth, high-end restaurants. Just like wonderful art beauty is in the eye of the beholder. However, not even as expensive as these well-known famous chef named establishments Capriccio's hands-down. The best restaurant I've ever been to everything was 100% mainly the meal, the service the atmosphere. Harry Hurley in the morning which I was able to meet there in the main dining room was 100% right when he says that is the number one restaurant in Atlantic City!!! I will be spoiling my wife with this wonderful place every time I have a chance !!! I cannot wait until summertime because they also boast outside seating. Weather permitting, and my wife loves to eat outdoors! This will be forever, my number one spot for family for visitors for friends. I have never been so impressed in all my life. Carlos I hope I'm gonna spell his last name correctly Majero. What amazing service. And everybody around him on the night that Tony Orlando sang in his last tour. I wish I could remember everyone's name but what a team that worked absolutely amazing together that night. My wife and I have decided to become regulars before any show that we are going to go see in Atlantic City. Granted all the other restaurants give you a wonderful experience, but there is a reason why Capriccio is number one. Thank you, “

“My wife and I had 6:00 Saturday reservations before an 8:00 show (also at Ocean Casino Resort). It was our first visit and we were seated within 10 min of checking in with the host. Dining area is bright, nicely-decorated with comfortable seating. Our server was very friendly, engaged, and informative-- he made several helpful recommendations on beverages and entrees which were spot-on! The complimentary freshly-baked rolls ridiculously delicious and addicting-- we could've easily eaten a dozen. My wife started with a Sorrento Sidecar-- she rarely partakes of alcoholic beverages, but she absolutely loved the taste, and it wasn't too string for her. She had the Tricolore salad followed by Fettucine Al Gamberi (with rock shrimp)-- both were delighful! I thoroughly enjoyed the phenomenally tasty Octopus Carpaccio followed by the Branzino Al Forno. I ordered a side of the Brocoli Rabe with Garlic and Oil, which came to the table in a family size bowl-- unfortunately it was mostly tasteless with not even a hint of garlic or oil, a minor misstep which failed to diminish the overall superlative dining experience ror us. We'll definitely return to dine with you again. Thanks!“
