I had been wanting to go here for a while bit was disappointed when I finally did. They did not have any corn bread (which I really wanted) or pickles when we went (pickles are supposed to come with the meal and nothing was substituted for the missing item). I had the pulled pork which was ok, the mac and cheese which was dry and flavorless and the hush puppies which were over cooked but were still ok. Giving these folks a 5 star for sticking it out and kicking butt in these crazy times. And overall - a really good experience! The one-star reviews need to be taken with a grain of salt.Kind service at the window, not a long wait time, food was packaged sturdily for transport to the rooftop or boardwalk. Pit Boss is only open on the weekend. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised. We have eaten at the BEST BARBECUE places in Texas. Llano's, Cooper's, Salt Lick, etc. The service was great, the Brisket and Pulled Pork were moist and tender. Served Texas style on a slice of bread with pickles and slaw on the side.
