“Cucina Fresca recently relocated from about a mile north on Route 9 near the famous dinosaur. Their new location, formerly a bank, has been repurposed to become combination restaurant & deli. I tried their French Dip and it was wonderful. I will be back to try other menu items. I encourage you to support this family owned business across the highway from another Bayville treasure, The Shady Rest.”

“Table 13 with JanineLadies and Gentlemen,This is still a service industry. We couldn't have been reminded of this more until we had dinner tonight. We love Shady Rest for the food(any chicken or fried scallops should always be considered) but for the most part, the dining experience has usually been random, at best. Tonight, we had the pleasure of being seated in Janine's section, and we've never had a finer experience at Shady Rest. Janine was The Best! Everything came out correctly and we never waited for a refill. We will be back soon on a Saturday night to sit in Janine's section.”

“Dairy Queen always has plenty of employees working. We enjoy the Dipped Cones, especially Cherry Dipped, available year-round. Make sure to try the Churro Dipped when available. The regular hard ice cream flavors in cone are classic items we enjoy, especially chocolate chip mint ice cream dipped in chocolate sprinkles or chocolate crunch. You cannot beat the price either, compared to other places. There is also seating on the side with amble space. We love our local DQ.”

“So today I am at MJ‘s restaurant, bar and Grill in Bayville, New Jersey for lunch with a friend. This building is located right on the bay, on a clear day. It would’ve been much prettier, but heavy ground fog was hanging around everywhere.I had never been here before and told the sushi was the best in that area so me and my friend Bob decided to go there for lunch. He had been there many times and highly recommended it. The only issue was that the sushi part doesn’t open until 4 PM and it was just noon when we got there.So it ended up being a really nice hamburger for me, and chicken wings for Bob, which looked absolutely great, and he says they are very good there.The service is stuck out the young man who is the server was on the spot didn’t bother us. We were there for three hours, talking and catching up. It had been nearly 20 years since we had seen each other and it was amazing how we took off just as we did Back then. The atmosphere was light for a lunch crowd, so nobody was chasing us out the door for a spot, so our server came around when he thought we needed something he was perfect absolutely perfect and that would be the highlight of this meal. Cause good service is not, easy to find.Here’s a couple videos just looking around the place and a few food shots.I’m coming back for the sushi and I think the rating is going to go way up. And I can say that was the only thing that I could complain about, but if we had searched it, we would’ve known 4 o’clock with sushi hour. That was on me.Yes, I’m coming back here, not sure when but I think pretty soon I’ll add anything to this review but it was nice I can see how when that place is packed it’s pretty big and the noise level of my climb drastically but I still don’t think you’d have any problem hearing each other across the booth.Give it a try, I recommended, and that’s only by having a burger but man and wings look good. “My husband & I have been going to Senza continuously a few times a year since 2020. It is time to provide my first general review of Senza. Overall, Senza appears like a small strip mall byob Italian restaurant, but that's what makes it fabulous. Senza is a hidden gem. The inside seating area is not large, but it is cozy. They recently expanded their interior to allow more tables, which is a great addition. I order many traditional meals and also try many unique dishes. I have not had one bad dish. Between the menu, atmosphere, and very friendly staff, Senza has become our favorite local Italian restaurant. We don't typically order out. We are fan of their restaurant. I highly recommend it. Make reservations a week ahead of time. We will be back and provide more specific reviews on meals. Below is a quick video of a special dish, Senza offered that night. The other dish is Eggplant Parmesan with pasta.Parking: Many parking spaces since Senza is in a large shopping plaza, near Retro Gym.”

“NEW OWNERS!…Restaurant is very clean, bright and colorful. It reminded me of Oaxaca with its friendly colorful, atmosphere. My chicken sopes was made to order which took awhile but was well worth it(will order ahead next time). The portion is huge so I’ll happily be eating it again for lunch tomorrow. The (3) sopes are fresh, well layered, including avocado, and delicious! They seem to have very fresh breads/masa. I asked for both red and green sauce. The green sauce was bright and citrusy, the red a bit hotter and smoky but not too hot. I’ve only tried one dish but it is excellent. YAY! Welcome to the neighborhood Los Aztecas!!”

“Ordered ahead online. Nice, clean store. Bought donuts and coffee for our flying club. Box of Joe stayed hot and the donuts were fresh. They supplied plenty of creamers and sweetener.”

“My family and are from California. We’ve been a JBJ fan since the beginning. We were visiting our son who is stationed at McGuire AFB. We took a family trip to JBJ Soul Kitchen because we wanted to give donation to the community. The servers were all very welcoming. The food was excellent! We all enjoyed the experience. “Ate there for the first time. 0rdered their Children Parm Dinner. Another member of my party had the Eggplant Parm Dinner. They serve it with homemade bread. The food was tasty and moist. The sauce is not runny and tastes fresh. The meat was tender. Their portion size is large. The chicken was one large piece. Not 2 very small pieces hidden under a lot of cheese and sauce. The gentlemen that were running it were very friendly. It is a small store with great food and service. The serve a variety of food from pizza, calzones and heroes. The store is well lit and clean.”

“Saw some banners on the road for Spire and decided to stop in to give it a try. So glad I did. Decadent coffee drinks and desserts. And. And. And. They also sell Ob-Co donuts. Doesn’t get much better than that. Coffee was really smooth and tasty. Crumb cake was amazingly fresh. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely a calm and cool place to enjoy a coffee with friends. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.”
