“I'm a fan of this Chinese spot. It's quick, easy and I don't get that greasy feeling. BUT, I'm annoyed I ordered catering and they didn't give us any sauce! We got a whole tray or pork fried rice and sesame chicken and no sauce. That's just a pet peeve. Why didn't they throw in the sauces?“
“The food was great, had the fried calamari for appetizers, the cajun fries are ?and seafood boil with hot Cajun seasoning was amazing. We had seafood which was fresh and cooked to perfection.Staff was attentive but not overbearing.I'd definitely go back and recommend it to anyone who is looking for quality seafood.“
“I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl, about 25 years, and it is my favorite spot to go to! Chicken wings are always a crowd favorite and all the combination platters are a must try! Don’t forget the crab Rangoon, it is addicting!“
“Ordered for the first time today and I'd classify this spot as a reliable go to town Chinese spot. Ordered classic egg rolls, lo mein, sesame chicken lunch special and chicken with vegetable lunch special. Food was good, I've had better but still above average. I felt the prices were fair and everything was ready for pickup within 10 minutes! The service was also quick and efficient. Definitely a takeout type spot with no frills but it gets the job done. Final verdict: recommend and will return!“
“We ordered general Tsao chicken and Hunan combination. Ordered the dinner size. Portions were gianormous. Prices were very reasonable!Chicken was full of flavor, sweet and spicy with generously portion. Hunan combination has jumbo shrimps, beef, broccoli and mushrooms! Make Me hungry just taking about it!For the price of fast food, this is a meal feels like a buffet!Service was fast and courteously. Orders can be made online as well. Take out or have it delivered. Overall, a very pleasant lunch experience! Will try their Beijing duck on our next trip! Yes, planning on our next trip already!“
“Solid meal, quick service, and great value. This is a popular spot so there will be a crowd waiting to be seated (we came at prime lunch hour on a Saturday), but the line moves quickly and we were seated in under 10 minutes. You order by checking off items on a paper menu and the food also comes out within minutes of being seated. The soup dumplings are a must-have, filled with savory soup and covered in thin and delicate skin! The beef in scallion pancake was also delicious and super crispy. The stir-fried rice cakes were okay; very salty and not as chewy as I'd like for a rice cake. The lion's head meatball was also average.“
“Food was great and excellent customer service! Our order initially accidentally came with sesame seeds which we had asked to be removed due to an allergy. We called the restaurant and Luis who picked up sent us a replacement within 10 minutes! Very kind and accommodating “
“Loved the restaurant's unique setting in a historical manor, however both the food and the service left something to be desired. We went for a 5:30 pm dinner for two and upon arrival, was brushed off by a cold hostess for our reservation. We also had to wait at least ten minutes to order and only was able to do so after flagging down someone who seemed like a manager after our server was MIA.Once we ordered, the food came very quickly. The modern Chinese fare is unique for the area and the highlights were the crispy shrimp bao and the flowering cauliflower main. We also ordered the black pepper beef and mushroom noodles, but found both dishes were overpowered by a heavy use of hoisin sauce that made them taste a bit one-dimensional.Overall, enjoyed Goosefeather — it was an interesting dining experience and we're glad we tried it but not sure if we'll return.Parking: Free parking with valet if you're dining at the restaurant (tip encouraged)“
“THE BESTAfter trying out other local Chinese restaurants THIS was my go to when I lived in Passaic. I moved out of Passaic and they don’t deliver to my area now but the food is worth the drive so I keep coming back once in awhile on my days off. Plus the staff is very nice and friendly. Like I said THE BEST.“
“It’s Chipotle prices for food that’s flavor and quantity wise- at least $5 more.F- any other bowl place. Why, when this spot exists ? The bespoke options are exceptional. The quality is superior. The quantity is robust. If you need flavor in your life, skip the Karen spots. Life is too short for bland food. Especially when we are all an AC unit away from falling on our heads and sending us to Elysium. Don’t walk here, run.“
“Excellent food and pleasant staff I am glad we tried this place. It is our go to for fresh Chinese takeout that is very tasty. I love their chicken and eggplant albeit a little spicy. Their fried rice is very good and it's darker as it's made with soy sauce. Their pineapple fried rice is excellent too.“
“Overall, mild-taste Chinese food suitable for people who prefer lightly taste-Chinese food. Not as spicy and salty comparing to the authentic style. I enjoyed the Mapo tofu and the Dumplings but not the sweet-sour chicken (too sweet and too much batter)“
“This food too good. You can even call ahead to place your order. Everything i tried (mostly everything) is great. I like eating here on Saturdays cus sundays i cook big meals so on Saturday we have lunch and dinner ordered from here. No delivery but well worth picking it up. Im about to order now. Plus it helps a lot since it stays open really late“
“Food is always so good. I travel a hour just to come here and have a GREAT DELICIOUS MEAL. Their chicken wings are big and nice and flavorful. Their house special rice is to die for. Egg food young Soooo good…. Their rib tips are FIRE ? OMGOSH THE LIST GOES ON The staff are always so welcoming. I love this place definitely 10/10 recommend“
“Best Chinese food restaurant around! I've tried several Chinese food restaurants around the Bronx area, Manhattan "Heights", hands down this is the freshest and tastiest! They have the science to the perfect fried tostones, crispy deliciousness. Come and try and let me know what's up!“
“I wish they would make this dish in South Texas but unfortunately I've gone to every single Chinese food place in Texas and they never have this plate available ? so just about every time I come to New Jersey I try to get me some and it is very delicious ?“
“A lot of Chinese restaurants claim to have the best Chinese food but this one soars above all of them. 10/10 best Chinese food I have every tried. They're prices have gone up over the years but nevertheless cheap. NOTE THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH“
“I haven't even gotten my food yet but this is the nicest customer service from a Chinese food place I have ever had this guy is incredibly nice and he doesn't need to be that's why he has five stars I can't wait to try his food either im excited and I'm going to update when I do! ?“
“Food was fresh take their time to prepare food fully cook and delicious. Delivered in a timely manner staff are polite and courteous. I would recommend Ming Feng to family and friends. Would like to also commend them on there professionlism .“
“Went for lunar new year. It’s a pretty nice place with good service. We were given chinese new year themed keychains. They had a restaurant week menu that offered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees for $52 for 2 people. We got 2 restaurant week orders and family styled it. The portions were large and it was way more than enough food for 2 people. My favorite dish was the Grand Marnier prawns. They were huge shrimp battered and fried over lettuce, tomato, and walnuts topped with pineapple and a sweet white sauce. Sweet, rich, and delicious dish. The stir fried beef noodles which were savory and good. The noodles were soft and wide like the consistency of Thai noodles, and the dish was sufficiently beefy. The beef could’ve been juicier and tastier though. The king pao chicken was fine. The mouth watering chicken was good but spicy. That was over cucumber and topped with a sauce, peanuts, and scallions. We got 8 soup dumplings and they were tasty, the right warmth, and better than din tai fung. There was so much food that we took 2 entrees worth of food home. Very solid Chinese food overall, but it depends on the dish.“
“Crispy Bamboo Village has always been one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. It is a great option when you need your lunch or dinner to take out. Delivery is also an option using any of the apps available but being so close to my home, I prefer to pick up the food. The service is fast if you consider the large number of orders that they receive by phone, which you can listen to ringing while waiting for your dishes. The quality of the dishes and their prices are not comparable with any fast food if customers take into account the time of preparation, the balance of the ingredients offered (including vegetables and meats), and the flavors that, different from a burger or hot dog , results difficult to replicate at home. Remember, the restaurant is only to take out.Crispy Bamboo Village has always been one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. It's a great option when you need to bring your lunch or dinner. “Atmosphere was nice and pleasurable to eat with the family. I tried a lot of different foods and all was good. Some things like sweet and sour soup excellent. The sushi could use some work. A nice spot to go with the whole family because they will all find something. The staff was very nice and attentive.“
“This place is amazing! I had the chili wontons and omg! The wonton is so juicy and the chili sauce is so tasty! Also had the fried chicken rice bowl Which was really good. The service is a bit slow because they're so busy. The ambiance is ok. No one actually sitting and eating. Luved it and can't wait to go back!“
“Great food and cute dining area, our server with the tattoos was sweet and attentive. When my friend didn’t like a certain dish they had no problem swapping it out with another noodle dish they recomendad and it was DELICIOUS. Great place and would recommend to all my vegan friends and family <3“
“The absolute best, the owners are great and the sweetest. You will never regret coming here. Usually with American style Chinese food it’s not the best quality and overly greasy and etc. But no Sky Rainbow has amazing quality like no lie. Food is super delicious, got the crab Rangoon and it was spectacular, still eating it as I write this. It comes with an amazing red sauce to dip it it, you don’t have to use it if you don’t want too. They are amazing by themselves, but no it’s a phenomenal compliment to the Rangoon. I even put the red sauce on my rice.I also got the chicken mushroom with vegetable fried rice. IMMACULATE, they don’t miss here. Got the staple which is a homemade i Ed tea. Not overly sweet or fake tasting. Extremely flavor tea but not overbearingly sweet. Amazing balance, they blessed them tea bags! Please come and check out this amazing place, you won’t be disappointed at all.“
“Dragon Sea has been here since I was born. Having grown up in the area this place has been my go to comfort food. The owners are sweet people who have lived in the neighborhood for years. They have a great family behind their stoves. I recommend this place to anyone that stops by.“
“Delivery Order: All the items ordered tasted good, and the Food was very well packaged. I usually get disappointed with the Chow Mai Fun orders, but this was just as expected, and also had very less oil, so somehow felt more healthy. Would definitely order from here again.“
“Being Chinese Muslim it's hard to find a hot pot place with spicy broth that's not made with pork bones. Not only that it has a lot of flavor too! Small place but I love the food here. Also highly recommend the white peach fruit tea!“
“This Chinese restaurant is by far the BEST Chinese food I have had in my almost 4 years of being in NY. I would highly recommend their food to anyone. ❤ The taste is literally to die for and im almost 9 months pregnant and extremely picky when it comes to my Chinese food lol. 2 time in 3 days eating here.“
“DON'T SLEEP ON EM-- BOULEVARD IS THE BEST CHINESE FOOD I'VE EVER HAD! THE BEST!!!!Their food is ALWAYS FRESH always hot! They always bring our order within 15 minutes! Their wings are amazing and that's why I took the time to write this review. I was shocked when I saw the ratings because I've been ordering from here for over 2 years (whenever we decide to do Chinese for dinner)They're the best!! If we move, I hope they deliever to our location.“
“Wow I have been missing out! This is going to be our new go to soup dumpling place in fort Lee!! We got the pork soup dumplings, sesame chicken and the fried rice!! Also the scallion pancakes!! We're talking about going back tomorrow for more. So good! Also service is quick and efficient! Will be back!“
“This BBQ restaurant offers good flavors, though it's not spicy enough for those who prefer their food with a kick. The overall taste leans towards a sweet and spicy blend typical of Korean BBQ. It's a suitable choice for those who aren't fond of spicy food. This BBQ restaurant tastes good but not spicy enough for those who like spicy food. The overall taste tends towards the sweet and spicy taste of Korean barbecue.“
“Never had Chinese Peruvian food before so was very intrigued. Came on a weekday night and was surprised that the store was packed. Was able to get seated quickly and they allowed us (2 people) to sit at a 4 person table which was very nice of them. - Complimentary Bread - I don't know what they put in this bread, but I was a huge fan. The bread was so soft and hot... and with the butter, it was just perfection. I also loved the crust as it was very flaky and crisp. I could just eat this as a whole meal and be happy. - Lomo Saltado (Beef) - I was not a big fan of the fried rice on the side but this was one of the best Lomo Saltado I've had in the city. The tomatoes and onions were cooked to perfection as they were very soft and packed with flavor. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The beef was also very tender but crispy at the same time. - Chinese Style Squid Fried Rice - Not a big fan. Feel like there was a strong oily after-taste like the fried rice in the Lomo Saltado. I did appreciate how many ingredients there were, but it didn't feel very appetizing. Overall, would just recommend the bread and the Lomo Saltado if you do come here. Also, I have to say that it's refreshing to watch all the servers play around, it made me very happy to know that they all are great friends with one another.“
“Saw the spot on seamless forever, was walking by a decided to drop in for a meal. The place is clean with interesting decoration, old photographs adorn the walls. Server was friendly and quick. The steam dumplings were large but bland, needs seasoning in the filling, dipping sauce only helped a little. Beef chili noodle soup was flavorful, tender beef, peppers and noodle in a delicious light broth.“
“I like this restaurant. We went for dinner and not busy at all.. no wait... ample parking spots.. friendly waiter.. fast service.. good food..clean and no foul odor.. they also have healthy options which I like.. they're specialty roll are buy 2 get 1 free.. each specialty roll minimum $13.95..“
“This place is really good. The lunch specials have a generous amount of meat.. probably around 10 shrimp for fried rice whereas other places give 5! I’ve enjoyed the lavender milk tea, black fungus, and hot and sour soup. Staple Chinese food.“
“Everything was perfect; food service and atmosphere. And less than $15 for a delicious vegetarian lunch! I asked the waiter if they could add some steamed tofu to the veggies, which they did for no additional charge! My friend had a beer, so hers was a bit more.“
“My clients were in the mood for Chinese food, so I came across this restaurant. I called in the order of several lunch specials. I ordered the shrimp and broccoli for myself. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in, and my order was ready. I paid and left. When I dug into my meal, I enjoyed the shrimp and broccoli with brown rice. It was filling! I had a good experience.“
“Here on a business trip from Florida. I ordered wings, Happy Family and ribs tip. When I look for chinese restaurants while traveling I look for quantity and flavor. This place has it all!! Big portions and full of flavor. The staff are very nice and helpful. I'll be returning here again before heading back to Florida.“
“I believe Flor de Mayo is a unique NYC chain mainstay. I love that they have multiple locations but I usually go to the same one lol. Last time I was here it was right before I was pregnant with my daughter. The staff is always on point and it’s always packed. Locals love the drinks and Chinese-Peruvian fusion. This place is my version of an upper echelon Chinese Food Restaurant!! There use to be something similar on Fordham Rd. MOVING ON!!I ventured out this time and ordered food I normally wouldn’t. I got the cilantro rice and wasn’t really satisfied. I thought the rice was a little mushy and not the flavor profile I was looking for. The chickpea guisado could’ve been better. It really just looked like they threw a slurry in a pan with tomato sauce and chickpeas. I will not be ordering either of those again. I will stick to the fried rice which is always exceptional! My grandmother accompanied us on this trip and enjoyed herself so I appreciated that. We just learned she has GERD so having something she enjoyed made our day. With love.“
“One of the best Chinese food in the area, the place is a little small but very clean, their best dishes are the boneless spare ribs, fried rice with shrimp, wings, all very good and with very good prices, one point against them is They only accept cash, you should take this into account when going!“
“Food 9/10Absolute FIRE. We ordered a lot of food, including the cumin lamb hand-pulled noodles, some dumplings, and overall it was an extremely filling meal. One portion lasted me multiple meals. The noodles were perfectly bouncy and QQ, the amount of meat they put in each bowl was way more than I had expected. Even though it was delivery, it still tasted very fresh. Bursting with flavor and texture. I would definitely recommend, can’t want to reorder from them again.Atmosphere and Service: N/A“
“Been going to this restaurant for over 30 years! Love everything about this place even the outdated decor and bathroom.Kid-friendliness: Kids do not bother them and they are really cool about bringing extra plates for sharing. I’ve never had an issue.“
“Merryland Buffet has delicious foods and a variety of choices. It is a quaint space with numerous tables and chairs. Choose your own seat. Not a great deal if customer service needed. The atmosphere is comfortable enough if you are a New Yorker who has frequented or grew up in the Bronx. Eorth stopping in for a meal, reasonablyvpriced for a Buffet.“
“This place may look somewhat run down, but don't be fooled. The food is good and the service is friendly. It's worth a visit for some nice takeout.Parking: Street parking can be sparse, depending on the time of the day/week. But the (metered) municipal parking lot at the corner of Lockwood Ave. is very close.“
“Food was really good, I ordered ahead and it was ready when I arrived. Parking was located in the back however.Vegetarian options: Decent variety of food optionsParking: Parking is located in the rear of the building and road parking is located on is a one way side street“
“Cute family-run place. The online price is 10-15% higher than the menu price plus there is an additional service charge. I recommend you just call the restaurant. I had the 3-roll sushi lunch special. Maki was fresh and tasty but unremarkable. Jen got lo mein and fried rice, also fresh and good but unremarkable. The egg roll was crispy and delicious. Value for money was good, online issues notwithstanding.“
“Great Chinese fast food restaurant delicious foods never had a problem with any of my orders. All they need to do is have a (UberEats/GrubHub/Doordash). Sometimes people don't want to go all the way to pick up the food. I'll give it 5 stars once they have delivery service.“
“Want the best chinese food in Bergen County, well then you found it! Never had a disappointing meal, my go to is the chicken and shrimp combo comes with an egg roll and we also get a large wonton soup everything from the shrimp with brocci to the general TSO chicken is untouchable. My family and i been coming here for 22 years and the staff is always welcoming!“
“We met with friends at this place for lunch. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. we were warmly welcomed by the staff members and we felt good. The meal was fresh and delicious. We loved this spot very much and we shall absolutely come back again. Keep it up.“
