This used to be my go to diner for years. I remember bringing my daughter here as a baby and the level of service along with the food were always exceptional. I know management has shifted as did the staff but damn to sit here for over an hour and half waiting on simple breakfast sandwiches (a few taylor ham egg and cheese and disco fries) and a couple of other simple orders like chicken focaccia and pancakes, is ridiculous. Several years ago, State Street Grill changed ownership and it hasn't been the same since. The food used to be out of this world - now it's just adequate diner food.
