“Happy Saint Patrick's Day to us!?? The English Pea soup with fresh mint was delicious! Our meal was spot on! The presentation was pleasing to the eye and appetizing! The pork chop dinner was cooked to perfection and we both enjoyed the chocolate cake for dessert. The food, Andrew, and his staff are amazing!Five shamrocks for this restaurant!?????Kathy & Greg“
“This family owned franchise location goes above and beyond with there customer service and there attention to detail when it comes to your dining experience, from the bread and olive oil in the beginning of your meal to the amazing desserts and cocktails at the end. The cozy old school atmosphere is the best, compared to all the other restaurants in its class that follow the new look of modern plain themed dining. Highly recommend the seafood here as it is literally handpicked by the owner meticulously for your pleasure.“
“My children had a 70th birthday dinner there for me on 1/20. The food was amazing! The service was outstanding, and the birthday cake, well I seriously could have eaten the entire cake! Everything about this restaurant is outstanding. There were 12 of us at the table, they were welcoming and right on top of everything. I highly recommend this place! You won’t be sorry. Oh the the entertainer singing was awesome! Very nice, I will be back.“
“Pier 281 is easily the BEST marina at the Jersey Shore! It has an awesome luxurious chill vibe. The location can’t be beat with the inlet nearby and the close proximity to Windward Beach with Brick Summerfest fireworks and the awesome pirate ship for added ambiance! The owners are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond to keep the marina very well maintained. I personally love the fact that it is not HUGE, so you can get to know some people, but you can also have a lot of privacy to just relax and enjoy! It truly is the ideal marina and has allowed my family to create countless memories to last a lifetime! ??⛵️“
“The best pizzeria in Brick to grab a slice or sit down for a fire dinner. The pepperoni and sausage was exactly what a meat lovers pie should be. Also, the owner made my pie and was very friendly and accommodating to anything we needed. Love when the guy making the dough is the guy making the dough ?“
“First visit to the Spanish potato, food was excellent, the service was great we had John! Highly recommend for a great meal and good time!! Sangria was wonderful!!Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp right in front to get in“
“I am updating my latest review. We have since been to The Windward twice and both times have been markedly improved since over the summertime. Both times we were seated within a reasonable time. Waitress came to the table within a few minutes and was both attentive and treated us like family instead of aged customers.Drinks ordered and served immediately. Dinner ordered and served quickly. We both ordered hot open sandwiches which were served within 10-15 minutes. They were very tasty and we enjoyed every bite.“
“Great vibe. Always lively and packed. Pizza is amazing. Garlic shrimp is 5 stars. Beautiful view right on the Manasquan. Dock and dine available. Live music inside and outside. My go-to place. Get ready for a wait, so plan ahead.Parking: Busy parking lot, but can always find a spot. Short walk.“
“Great little Italian restaurant in Point Pleasant. Reservations are highly recommended as when we left, it was an hour wait. The smell in the air of fresh Italian food was intoxicating. This is a BYOB place, so bring the vino. Dinner portions are of a large size. Comes with soup or salad and homemade pasta or vegetables. Seating is tight. Service was excellent, and owner stops by every table to drop off a starter and later to see how you are doing. Only complaints would be the homemade pasta is very aldente, and the Caesar dressing is very vinegar forward, and I like acid. Would definitely go back again. Oh and the pistachio Gelato is a must have.“
“My husband and I had one of the best meals out in a long time. From the moment you walk through the door you know you're in store for something special. The ambiance is outstanding and the service is amazing. The menu is top notch. The steaks are the best quality and cooked to perfection. Talk about a hidden gem!“
“Always delicious and super fresh everytime we come here. One of my favorite things to order is when they have the Nashville hot chicken dumplings special & raspberry point oysters when they have them. The sushi combinations are unique and great size portions and the milk pie is a must try!“
“Thankfully we got a table as walk ins, but the place was pretty busy. It’s a very beach vibe and the menu reflects all of the summer favorites. We got the Korean wings and avocado fries for starters. The wings were good, but I would pass on the avocado fries. I decided to take a chance and go for the tuna bowl. To my surprise, the tuna was delicious. The rice was cooked perfectly and it filled me up. My boyfriend got the double burger and he could barely finish it. His only commentary was that the waffle fries were trash.“
“This place is great! The bartenders Amy & Carly are awesome!! they make great cocktails and are supper friendly, nice & always attentive. The food is very good, they need to put the bistro chips on the regular menu :). The atmosphere is great inside and the outside tiki bar is amazing with it's beautiful views, I can't wait for the warmer weather. Also, the music is great. If you're in the area it's a must try.“
“This was our first time at Rosie's and we were pleasantly surprised. We eat out a lot and haven't had service this good for many years. We had reservations for 6:30 PM and were seated promptly. The hostess even moved tables to provide more room. Our waiter, Sean A., arrived shortly with drink & dinner menus and explained the specials. He took our order without writing it down and since they were crowded, I had concerns but we got exactly what we ordered. Throughout the night, Sean checked in frequently and was outstanding! My husband enjoyed the sous vide/grilled pork chop and I enjoyed the Sea Bass special. We also had a salad that was enough to share and a creme Brulee. The only complaint was the noise level but the food and service more than made up for it. We will definitely return and hope to get Sean again as a waiter!“
“Mad Fish company has been a great addition to the island. What started as take-out only has evolved into a full sit down restaurant. The food is delicious, the serving sizes are great and the welcoming nature of Maddie and Gayle are unmatched. This is BYOB with both indoor or outdoor seating. I recommend the combo platter, it’s fresh and plentiful.“
“This is a lovely spot! You'd think it's mostly for the summer with the ceviches, but they have all sorts of tasty hot dishes perfect for all year round. We had the grilled shrimp entree and a seafood stew -- it was so warm, hearty, and delicious! I'd come back again in a heartbeat.“
“I took my sister here for a nice dinner and let me tell you, this is one of those restaurants where they are just firing on all cylinders. The Filet Mignon made me wish I had a rewind button, and the scallops were sooooo good. If you are in the Toms River area I would highly consider giving this place a try.“
“I love Daniel's Bistro. Have been going for years, and most recently about a month ago, and it was perfect. It has great vibe, staff is personable, it was a group of five so we ordered a lot of appetizers and desserts, too. Will be back again soon.“
“I was there for a family sheva brachos. The food was amazing, wonderful, outstanding, and they were able to tweak things on the spot for my family members with allergies.I didn't have a problem with one of the servers dropping and breaking the plate with something. It can happen to anyone. I was not happy though that he didn't notice (didn't check to notice) that so of the spilled food got onto people's (children's) shoes. Ok, it happens as well, he didn't realize. What I didn't like was that while people were still sitting at tables and talking, they started cleaning up. Not empty plaltes but water glasses, napkins.... The person sitting next to me (the one who was paying the bill, I e. organized the event, chose the place and gave them business) was approached three times during the speech whether she was done with her main course. She said no three times, but on the fourth she said ok, fine take it away. One more: the servers barely smiled. It was not too inviting.Bottom line: I WOULD go there for dinner with my family again possibly, but I would NOT make my simcha there or recommend this place. As of now. Maybe, hopefully, I will change my mind later.Dietary restrictions: Considering that they are a dairy restaurant, they were able (agreed) to skip dairy on the salad and the main course to accommodate us and gluten free for some other people.I wish they had some pareve desserts as well, but that's not a must at a DAIRY place“
“This place is amazing. Everytime we come here, the food is delicious and the service is top notch! Fresh sushi, poke bowls, fish tacos-always delicious. But that flounder francaise! No breading, more of a lemony sauce with capers and artichokes. OMG! It was a special but hope they have it often!“
“I am so happy to have found such a great place to grab lunch at! They offer so many gluten free options and also understand allergies which is amazing! I work in the area and I was so hungry and wanted something easy. So I went in and got a Greek hummus wrap on GF wrap. It was amazing! I also learned they do catering and all gluten free as well. I can’t wait to go back! The wrap I had was super delicious and fresh. I can’t wait to try more food from here!Dietary restrictions: Gluten and vegan“
“We came here on a Saturday night with a reservation for a group of 6. You enter through the pizza shop to get to the dining room and were promptly seated. Our server was excellent! She was very polite, friendly, did not mind repeating herself and was very patient with the elderly members of our group. The food was delicious, the portions were huge and everyone enjoyed their selection. Found a new gem with great prices plus BYOB. Only downside is the dining room gets a little loud. But we will definitely go back!“
“One of the underrated gems in town.Fish Grill definitely serves the freshest and perfectly cooked fish. I got the charbroiled Seabass plate, for sides a baked potato and crispy green salad. The store has a cool vibe too!Look out for the main entrance door handle;)Wheelchair accessibility: Large ramp“
“Picked up 2 - Feast of the 7 Fishes for Christmas Eve, and my family and I ate like kings!! One traditional and one lemon garlic, prepared with Pinot and just so easy to cook using the QR code right on the side of the pot! Would recommend The Boiling Point for big or small gatherings. Their deserts are great, too!“
“From Michigan, found this out of the way place and decided to try it because of all the excellent reviews. Reviews were spot on, even a gal from Virginia found them online, we both had excellent meals. Don’t miss this family run gem if your in the area. Thanks for a great dinner. Had the Full Monte with an 8oz Lobster side. Owner came out to see if dinner was what we expected. Bravo“
“Not the first time or the last time. Excellent selections, food choices. Started with the soup followed by appetizers. The mussels in red sauce with the artesian bread was great, a meal in itself. The main entry Stuffed jumbo shrimp for the wife the Codfish for myself covered with just the right of amount of capers in red sauce. Followed by a slice of Ricotta & pistachio cake cake. Looking forward to my next visit.“
“Our pizza adventures continue and we found ourselves at the Anchor Inn a few nights ago. The place was full of families and friends enjoying a varied menu. We came for pizza but ended up ordering an appetizer and salad. Everything was very good! Service was fast and attentive. There’s an accessible entrance. Street parking was easy, but there’s also a parking lot. The place is probably a madhouse in the summer, but we had no trouble getting a table.“
“This place is always busy, but I must say for all the years that it has been there. They try to accommodate you whatever which way they can to get you seated. Going there and experiencing the atmosphere you get when you're eating, you won't be disappointed. We had over 18 people to be seated to eat, and they accommodated us.Kid-friendliness: They have no problem accommodating your children not at all.“
“Wow wow...oh so good. We sat outside and had the best lunch. I had the shrimp po boy and my wife the fish tacos. Both were excellent. The po'boy roll toast and soft ( not a hot dog roll). Crispy shrimp cole slaw and sauce. Home made pasta salad. Toasted pita chips. The fish tacos with guacamole were so so good. A place to go back to again and again.“
“This has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants down the shore. I went for my birthday in August-which was a beautiful time to be down by the beach and the atmosphere at Amelia's offers a beachy, romantic looking main room - light & bright, yet warm and inviting. There are outer rooms to sit that have a more casual feel. I also went for a late Valentine's Day/anniversary w my husband last week (March) and while it was colder outside, the inside was just as cozy and inviting. The food is impeccable, I don't think I have had anything even so-so there, or other people at my table. The preparation is first-rate, seafood is fresh and the portions are very good (seafood pasta I made dinner out of it 3x!) but it doesn't fall short on flavor. The host/owner is very attentive and so polite and friendly, as are the wait staff. I live a little further away from the shore these days, but I have no problem getting down to my new favorite place in Spring Lake! Win win for Amelia's & the beach across the street!“
“Their lobster rolls are the best in NJ Served with home fries or homemade cole slaw .Everything so fresh .we take a ride there just to get seafood or a lobster roll . It"s the closet place that comes close to New Englands Lobster rolls and seafood ..Nothing fancy but great “
“Went night before Valentine's. Got a great table. Our server, Jason, was fantastic; friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and attentive. Food was amazing, as usual. The special, "Chatham Cod Casino" was beyond delicious. Excellent experience.“
“Overall a very good experience celebrating my birthday & a friend's. Our waiter Dylon, did an excellent job making food recommendations & checkin up on us. The food seemed a bit pricey (I know everything has gone up in price) but was delicious. One thing I would mention is when the folks come around to the table to clear places, glasses, etc. maybe coach them to wait a bit and remove mostly all the dishes at the time time. Outside of that this place is a hit! Keep up the great work!“
“The food is consistently fresh and delicious. We order food from here quite often and are always happy with it.I had my daughter's 15th birthday party back in '22 and the service was amazing. All of my party guests raved about the food. Anthony and his crew were very attentive. She just had a small gathering for her 17th birthday, and again the service was great. She and her friends said the food was delicious. They were also very accommodating with food allergies.“
“Everything was excellent!! We really enjoyed it all. I had the meatball app and scallops both delicious. My husband had the special Chilean sea bass and Thai mussels. Our friends had the beet salad and fluke and one of the pastas. No one had leftovers—it was gone! We are too quick for photos sorry! We’ll definitely be back ?“
“I want to give a huge shout out/thank you to the owner of this restaurant. She went out of her way to show up early yesterday so I could purchase a small gift card. I had time restraints and don't live .near by.My brothers favorite restaurant !! GREAT FOOD AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.Love the outside seating in the summer .Thanks again Rajun Cagun !“
“The food is outstanding. Ate here for the 1st time and we were amazed at how great and fresh the food is. Definitely highly recommend to everyone. We got the lobster, but I ordered the tacos because you get more for the same price and I have to say the salsa that's made fresh is great and the fresh chips are the best I have ever had in my life. Well worth the money and will definitely be returning. My only issue is the seating area is tight and separate from the kitchen, which the poor servers have to go in and out of the doors to get the food and not a good set up.“
“Enjoyed an excellent meal last night with friends. Food was great, casual friendly atmosphere, service was excellent. Had the mussels, salads were great, seafood curry, blackened fish special, and short ribs to name a few. Then finished with daily bread pudding special and a tsunami for dessert! Will definitely return!“
“There is one word that you want to connect to seafood and that is “FRESH”. SLS gets it right! This is my regular go to for FRESH, deliciously prepared seafood. The addition of sushi only added to my addiction. The salads are made with fresh green lettuce, nothing packaged or brown, dressings are light and tasty add to that some fresh seafood, Yummo! You might want to try the following:Crab cakes - moist delicious, mostly crab, as it SHOULD be.Whole fried fish - So fresh, flash fried without being oily, moist, delicately seasoned, perfect.Bronzino - What can I say, my fav, perfect ?Pasta All - Al dente, great LIGHT delicious sauces.SLS is the definition of eating healthy and delicious at the same time. Those that appreciate quality of ingredients, simplicity of preparation, inclusive of great seasoning and delicious results are going to enjoy dinner at this great local gift of a restaurant In beautiful Spring Lake. Delicioso!“
“Oh, the seafood history is very tangible here and park seafood on the boardwalk in Seaside Park Nicholas, the son of Bobby and the grandson of Nick clam House, has boardwalk history in his back pocket.Everything is super fresh everything is upgraded. All the flavors are super bright steam clams are super fresh. They do a nice job on the house lemonade if you want Ford work history Nicolas and park seafood and clam House is the place for classic boardwalk.“
“We rarely get a chance to have dinner out during the week, crazy schedules, etc. We decided to take a break and go after so many recommendations. Did not disappoint! Grilled Octopus, Surf and Turf, filet done perfectly, Scallops, grilled veggies, and amazing basket of pretzels with a delicious raspberry mustard dipping sauce. Service was spot on. Our waiter, Travis, was great. We will have to make this a once a month treat! Give it a try!Vegetarian options: Cauliflower..Asparagus, glazed baby carrots, salads , Salmon, Lobster, Shrimp, Scallops etc“
“Pictured is the flounder stuffed with crab meat. It tasted great, but the serving size is too small. The chocolate mousse was also good. I've had the salmon stuffed with crab meat previously, which I liked. I also like having the long grain rice as an option for a side. Our server was polite, but the music was a little too loud.“
“This is your real deal seafood market. And it was well priced too. We got two lobster tails, a set of crab legs, two steaks, and a lemon and it was only $70 and in amazing quality. Upon entering the shop the employees are working fast and moving through customers. Very happy with my experience here!“
“Went with my husband today, he had the crab cake sandwich with house cut fries, both were delicious. I had the blackened shrimp poke bowl. First time I had a poke bowl and it will definitely will not be my last. I only gave the atmosphere a 4 star because it was super loud inside and I basically yelled the entire time to talk. We had Victoria as our server and she was an excellent one at that. Prompt and extremely pleasant. We will go back again to try something else and hopefully have her again as our server.“
“The food was amazing I highly recommend the tagliatelle mushroom pasta. My only complaint is that my partner was charged $12 when he asked about substituting asparagus for broccoli and we weren’t told that it would be an additional charge (they didn’t even eat the broccoli) and when we asked about it we were brushed off. Other than that it was a great experience“
“We absolutely love John & Elaine’s restaurant as do our children. It’s nice to see a multi-generational family owned and operated restaurant. The team is wonderful and very accommodating with food allergies. We highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Our son (age 4) has severe food allergies. Laura and the team were great!“
“Parking was easy and free so that saved us a lot of money compared to Seaside or Point Pleasant. The food came fast as you would expect from a take out place. We had planned grab and go, but then we saw the picnic tables so we sat and enjoyed our meal. We tipped the college kids behind the counter who cleaned up after us. The food was great! One of my boys used the potato slicer for his French Fries and we all got a photo with the legendary founder, Crabby Rick, who served our country. Maybe one day he'll be as famous as Colonel Sanders of KFC so I'll keep that picture.“
“Our server was excellent, very attentive and knowledgeable. My wife and I had the sesame Tuna Entree. Wasabi mashed were excellent, but the tuna we were served was cut way too thick (both of us had two chunks on the mashed)and the vegetables were Luke warm. Tuna was seasoned proper, but the chunkiness of the tuna overshadowed the flavor of the tuna. Hope this helps!“
“The food was delicious and our server was very sweet! The food came out quickly and the drinks were very good as well. Initially, the expected wait time was 45 mins but we were seated after about 20. The view from our table was very enjoyable and serene. I would definitely recommend coming here!“
“This restaurant is one of the very few to consistently have 4.8 and higher ratings since it first burst onto the scene less than a decade ago. They established and proved themselves as an outstanding culinary stronghold in a small restaurant space on route 88 for several years. But, the unrelenting demand and extensive waitlist prompted the owners to jump up the atmosphere to match their superlative upscale dining. They moved just 2 miles into a more suitable, spacious and comfortable setting, with soaring ceilings, and an upscale vibe. The founders, Dominic and Nicki, work the room and their very prestigious regulars w finesse and gracious hospitality, and the food remains top notch! Anyone who dares to ping them with a subpar review, clearly needs to rethink their gastronomic goals! That being said, this place is right up there with, and if not superseding, nyc heavyweights Il Mulino and it truly an extraordinary experience of top notch gourmet mixed with old school Italian ambiance! If I could give it 10 stars I would. If the Sopranos were food, this would be it!“
