I am updating my latest review. We have since been to The Windward twice and both times have been markedly improved since over the summertime. Both times we were seated within a reasonable time. Waitress came to the table within a few minutes and was both attentive and treated us like family instead of aged customers.Drinks ordered and served immediately. Dinner ordered and served quickly. I'm an organizer of a meetup and eight of us from the group had a really nice lunch at Windward Tavern yesterday..Everyone enjoyed their food and our waitress, Britney, made us feel welcome..Her warmth, attentiveness, and the friendly smile she wore throughout our meal made for an enjoyable afternoon..I will definately host another lunch meetup there in the future..

Food was very good. I had class on the half shell, Tomato soup, and broiled scallops. The tomato soup was on another level. Bartender was great. I was there for lunch, so its hard to rate the atmosphere.
