One of the best sushi places my wife and I have had in the last few years. Maybe best ever!Large restaurant. They fit us in during dinner rush even though we didn't have a reservation.It's clear many of the other folks were regulars because the staff knew them. Great service. Reasonable prices. A generic sushi place with probably non Japanese chefs. Very busy on a weekend night and staff was friendly. Sushi dinner didn't really taste like much. Many sushi restaurants are like this, where salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and etc sushi taste the same as every other restaurant you go to. An authentic place will use wasabi under each piece of nigiri and each fish will have a distinct flavor, with preparation to the fish often done beforehand. Very good music, restaurant was supposed to close 2:30, staff allowed us to stay until 3, we left earlier, but that was really nice. Ate raw fish for the first time, restaurant gave a good impression with the sushi lunch. Calming music was indeed calming. People keep yapping about how they don't greet customers, bro it's a Japanese restaurant, they don't always greet you needy Americans ???. Bet you've been to 5+ restaurants where they didn't greet and you still gave them 5 stars....read full review
