“Despite their name, Texas wiener spiced chili dogs are a New Jersey fast food staple, and few if any places are more synonymous with the Texas wiener than the Hot Grill in Clifton, NJ. Overall, it’s the second best chili dog of any kind I’ve had after my beloved Hiram’s in Fort Lee. Obviously Texas wiener style chili is more of a spicy sauce, Hot Grill’s sauce has excellent flavor, almost curry like. Hiram’s and Rutt’s Hutt use a more a traditional meaty chili, which is my personal preference, but to each their own. The customer service was kind and welcoming. Vintage Americana fast food atmosphere and very spacious. Their Burgers, especially if you put the their Texas Wiener sauce on it, is also one of the better fast food/diner style burgers I’ve had in a while. Overall, well worth the trip from Budd Lake.“
“My wife and I came here for the first time to break our fast during Ramadan since it serves only Halal meat. The interaction started wrong since I got a burger with cheese when I asked for none on my Waygu. The kitchen quickly corrected it even with so many orders ahead of me. Burger + even gave me free dessert and soup to make it better.The burger was amazing and worth the wait ....highly recommend“

“Awesome Burgers. Probably the best in the area.Only complaint is price is a little steep. Price of a sit down restaurant ($25 per person for a burger and fries).But overall amazing quality food.Minimal sitting area inside. Pretty much a to go spot.“
“I never enjoyed fast food but for some reason Wendy's has a decent taste & pricing for a quick lunch & I never feel bloated or sick after like McDonald's or Burger King, keep in mind I have not been to McDonalds or BK in over 10 years maybe things have changed, ive always liked Wendy's Dave Double & Five Guys as my favorite fast food burger spots. Stay away from the chicken sandwichtes though maybe depending on locations they don't over a grilled option & the breaded one is horrendous & soggy, if your not eating your food right away make sure to ask for the tomatoes & sauces on the side of you will end up with a soggy burger by the time your home. Ive never had a problem ordering from Wendy's and telling them to put the pickles tomatoes & sauce on side then I just put it together when I get home no more soggy burgers.“
