“It's been such a long time. I haven't been to Troops in over 20 years. I was an actually a regular at Troops predecessor back in the 70's which was Frills. The name has flipped a few times from Frills to Troops, back to Frills, then back to Troops as the ownership changed over the years. But I am extremely happy to say that the subs are as good as ever. Exactly as I remember them. Generous portions of meat, cheese and fixings on a sub roll with the perfect texture. Soft, but not too soft. Back in the day the rolls came from the Albodanza bakery. I'm not sure if they still do, or, even if Albodanza bakery still exists. The prices are extremely fair. The place itself is a bit of a dive and that is fine by me. I look forward to my next sandwich.“
“The food is great and the service normally is but not today. I have to thank whoever the tall woman is who took charge and made my sandwich correctly after I returned it twice for being wrong. I know she was annoyed and it was busy but there was one guy on the grill who just couldn't be bothered with getting the order right.“
“Best subway I've been to in years. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, order prepared perfectly and immaculately clean. You can even eat in! As a side note, even though they couldn't honor a coupon I presented, they gave me a discount anyway! Who does that these days?? Bravo“
“This Subway was slammed with customers, just about 4pm today, and the only employee in the place was properly kicking-ass, doing what was needed to keep everyone happy. She was fast, listened to everyone's expectations and delivered a tasty sandwich at a very affordable price. I suppose I could complain that there were not more employees, but I prefer to look on the bright side and say that, under the circumstances, this single employee, working hard, exceeded all expectations. Thank you, I will return for more.“
“Very good place, excellent food, treatment. From the waitresses Ask for Yelissa. An incredible deal, I felt at home!!!!!The best burger. From NJ when you go I recommend ordering some empanadas as a starter called the 3 hits are the Maximum and an oatmeal juice with orange wow. DeliciousThe chimi and the mofongo are the end“
“Easily one of the best sandwich shops in JC. I've been through almost everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. My go to these days is the #5, breaded chicken lettuce tomato hot peppers and Chipotle mayo. Can't go wrong with the chicken vodka Parmigiano, one of the best vodka sauces I've ever had!“
“I only discovered Little Grocery recently and I am in love! All of the sandwiches I've ordered so far are amazing, with Thanksgiving on a Roll being my fav so far. The people working there are super sweet. Overall, hands down one of my favorite lunch spots!“
“I have lived around the area for many years, and never have I tried a better Itlian hero than at Nick's. You are paying for quality - you can tell by the second you take the first bite. A sandwich is as good as the bread, theirs is fresh and perfect. Nick's is a MUST TRY!“
“We went to Agamies while trying out caterers, we never even went to our second option. They had hot food prepared for lunch so we were able to try his chicken Marsala and chicken Francese. He helped us decide on the menu and quantities so we didn’t have too much or run out. He definitely did not try to over sell us. They delivered it hot and ready to eat. Everybody enjoyed it so much we wish we had more leftovers! You gotta try the francese and the vodka sauce!“
