“Owner was so kind and giving. We walk in and he takes our order quick. The food comes and we eat and it was very good. Owner was so nice and he quickly gave us free radish and a whole free platter of fries. Both were very good. He then graciously gave us free water. Amazing.”
“Simple place to get some food and warm drinks in Winter, cool drinks in the summer. They've got maps and books for sale. Only problem? Not enough indoor space for the tables. Outdoors is okay in the summer when it's crowded. But it's always crowded here, especially in the summer. They close the parking lot when it gets full. Be prepared to park somewhere else like the boy scout camp on the other side.”
“The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, and the service is efficiently fast. We particularly enjoy the Korean BBQ option, which is accompanied by a wide array of tasty side dishes. One thing to note is that it's BYOB, so be sure to plan ahead and bring your own beverages to complete your dining experience. Overall, a great spot for delicious food and quick service.”
“A real diner, just like the places my dad took me to when I was growing up in New Jersey. It's small inside the place, but it's cozy. I can't say enough good things about The Red Maple. Not pretentious, not a chain, no attitude; just good coffee, good food, and good people.”
“I’ve ordered food for pickup a few times and was never disappointed. The fish is always fresh and the sushi is one of the best in the area without a doubt. It’s a small hole in the wall so it’s very easy to miss but PLEASE PLEASE GIVE IT A TRY!!”
“Awesome food! Best Persian restaurant/ chelo kababby in the area hands down!!! Happy new year!Vegetarian options: Great salads and falafel! Provides fresh awesome feta cheese on an already great salad.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly staff place and awesome owner.”
“This is by far my favorite deli! The staff members are friendly and polite . The food is absolutely exceptional. The soups and specialty sandwiches are amazing . The price list is also reasonable . Highly recommend.”
“Came here for Easter and was pleasantly surprised! The only disappointment was that they forgot the caviar on the salmon tartar. Also I didn’t care for the escargot but I think that’s just a personal preference on taste. Overall I will be returning!”
“Still one of my favorite restaurants, I hope it stays that way. Was there the other day, and my porcini rubbed steak was not quite as good as I remember. Cocktails are now basically $20 (same size though!). And I had to put down a credit card deposit for $25 per person to dine in a nearly empty restaurant, with a THREE DAY ADVANCE notice period, within which you're told you'll be charged regardless of reason for cancellation, which is extreme. Rigatoni Bolognese was great and service remains excellent. Portions all a good size. Will be back, but maybe on a weekday when we don't have to worry about the cancellation policy.”
“First time having poke anywhere, and I was impressed. It was a complete flavor and texture bomb with cold and hot elements, too. I got the Philly, and it was fantastic. The everything seasoning made it a smidge salty. Paid $16.14.Parking: Tons of parking available.”
“The food is fresh and full of flavor. I'm a fan of sondubu and thus far, I have not been disappointed. It is a spot that is frequented by Koreans, so it has a sort of "down home" feel to it. They are not concerned with appealing to the American palate...which is great!”
“I am a harsh critic and I must say, the food here is 10/10! No frills Chinese restaurant with quick and friendly service. You can tell they really care about their customers and never got frustrated when we kept asking different questions about the menu/ sauce options. Wish we had a great spot like this in the city, authentic and very inexpensive! We got: - Orange Chicken: Delicious chicken, whole meal came out piping hot. This dish comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll. True orange flavors 9/10 - Beef and Broccoli (my fav): Crunchy broccoli that's not over cooked. Perfect beef and broccoli sauce. Comes with a side of white rice 10/10 - Hot and Sour Soup: On the more mild side of hot and sour soup, actually no kick at all, could use more white pepper but was refreshing when paired with the fried rice. Gets the job done but could use more flavoring 7/10 Will def stop by whenever in the area for inexpensive, quick, authentic eats!”
“A truly amazing eatery serving up some seriously great grub! My favorite was their take on a chopped cheese , the meat was so so tender ! And don't miss out on the crazy loaded fries so cheesy! && u can wash it all down with a Thai tea, the owner takes a lot of pride in making sure every detail is perfectly curated.”
“Best Korean take out spot! I’m a busy working mom and don’t have the time to cook as much so Rainbow has been such a lifesaver. Delicious food with always friendly and helpful staff!”
“Favorite ramen place. I usually get shio ramen. I love the clean broth here compared to other ramen places. Service is always very quick. The place is very clean inside but small. The only downside is that they close very often.”
