“We live in the area so this is one of our go to sushi places. Unfortunately it’s still take out only. The food is always very good but when you pick up your food the inside of the restaurant is dark and dingy with boxes piled up. It really looks a mess and run down.Sushi is really good and so is the Pad Thai.Need to clean the place up and open it for dine in please!!“
“The food was amazing! My friend and I came around 7ish on a Sunday and had to put our names down. Not too much of a wait so we went next door and got tea. Once we were seated, our waiter was so helpful and explained everything to us since it was our first time there. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were amazing. The Year of the Rabbit so good, definitely recommend! I will definitely be back!“
“Cool vibe, friendly service, I love the logo! We arrived as happy hour was changing over and quickly ordered. We found that our happy hour tacos we considerably less enjoyable than the ones we ordered after happy hour concluded. Fun spot, certainly would go before a show at Union Transfer.“
“Great food! Got the Ma Pao Tofu noodles (hand drawn) and the Szechuan Cold Noodles (knife cut and pork and chive dumplings to go. I've always wanted to try these styles of noodles and since I am here visiting and it was close by I jumped at the opportunity and it didn't disappoint! The hand drawn noodles I would recommend for the dishes that have a thicker sauce or soups and the hand cut noodles for anything that is a drier type of dish. The hand drawn noodles were a bit softer than the knife cut which was great for the Ma Pao Tofu dish and the knife cut has more of that QQ (chewy type) texture and is great for the Szechuan Cold Noodles. The Dumplings were great as well! Flavor and texture were spot on.You do have to have cash or the ability to pay by Venmo, but otherwise it's a great overall experience“
“Service and atmosphere: Very spacious with Chinese/Asian style of decoration. Service here is incredibly fast and the staffs are very friendly as well.(1) Scallion Pancake: Very thin and super crispy outside but pretty chewy inside, it went super well with Hoisin sauce.(2) Chicken in wine sauce: The chicken was cooked perfect but the flavor of this dish was way too salty for me. Would pair great with some white rice.(3) Crab meat & pork soup dumplings: Very decent! A dumpling itself is pretty bigger than other dumplings I’ve tried before. The way I have it is to poke a hole to taste the juice then get a little bit soy sauce mixed with vinegar and thin sliced ginger and take everything in one bite. Perfect.(4) Stir-fried Bok Choy: Pretty good but not too impressive to me. I wish there would be more garlic to it.(5) Shanghai Fried Udon: It was okay but not special enough for me to remember.(6) Pan fried crispy noodles with vegetables: I love this dish the most! Very saucy and flavorful and has a lot of mushrooms and veggies to it. However, you should eat this right when it comes out or else your noodles will get soggy.(7) Beef braised noodles: It was okay as well, not too special for me to remember. I wish it was spicier.Overall, the experience was worth it to try one of the very popular restaurants in Cherry Hill. Decent selection of Chinese dishes yet they taste quite too salty to my own liking.“
“This place is absolutely delicious! This is my second time here and I am still blown away with how good everything was. My favorite was the cilantro chicken, and it was the most tender and buttery pieces of chicken I've ever had. I really recommend this place and I can't wait to come back and try more. They have so many options here and everything I've had here was very good.“
“I am surprised this place has only got about 350 reviews at time of writing. This place was very good for hotpot options. When you arrive, you get asked if you want the normal or premium option (you get to pick 2 premium options as a once off per person). We just went for the normal one and it was great! You order the hotpot meats via iPad (and even had option for Sashimi which was unexpected, but very nice!). Everything else you go up and get yourself, which I prefer as you can control how much you get. They also had a small selection of cold "salad" items such as chicken feet, cold sliced beef, wood ear and chilli. These options were delicious.Re drinks: The price includes all you can drink. They have a fridge with bottled drinks that you would expect to find in a Chinese supermarket, and you basically help yourself to as much as you want. There is also a small selection of deserts - I am always too full to eat these so cannot comment on it!Would love to go back here again in future.“
“I love the food here so much! I became a vegetarian during the pandemic because I realized how much environmental damage the meat industry causes and how they have no repercussions for any of the harm they cause. At first, it was hard! There’s few vegetarian restaurants out there, and those that have vegetarian options are normally not that good. Let’s face it. Most veggie-style versions of food aren’t as tasty when you’ve eaten meat your whole life. But let me tell you, this place breaks that stereotype. It was hard learning to cook again since I’ve mostly known how to prepare different meat-based dishes my entire life. (With few exceptions) But this place was truly inspiring in that way. I learned that anything you could want could be made without the use of animal products. It’s life-changing to taste the possibilities that well-seasoned and prepared food can bring. I have taken my family, friends, and coworkers here since 2020, and I will never not love this place. It even holds a special place in my heart for another reason. My husband and I ordered our wedding feast from them and it just added to the magic of that special day. ❤️“
“OMG! Our first-time experience was nothing short of amazing. Our server Vince took really good care of his as we celebrated my husband's birthday. Vince was very versed with the menu and helped us make some really delicious decisions... we're going to be returning customers! Appetizers were pork belly bao and the ribs . Entrée steak and sea bass“
“Cash only, no Venmo!!!Past review say Venmo is allowed but in-person, Venmo was declined, only option was cash, credit card with fee, Apple Pay with fee.Hand pulled or shaved noodles here are excellent! Had dine in and take out before.Service is bare minimum, but not surprising from a Chinese restaurant.“
“Love love love Ozaki! It’s my favorite Asian restaurant. Their sushi is so good. I recently had the all you can eat sushi for a reasonable price and you can choose appetizers/drink/entree/however much sushi you want/dessert. I tried like 5 different sushi rolls and they were all so good. The service is always good and the restaurant is always clean. I always recommend ppl to go there & have taken my friends, boyfriend, and parents there (on separate occasions, that’s how much I love the food!)“
“My boyfriend brought me here last night. He had been here once before for a business meeting and thought I’d like it a lot! And I did! Everyone was super nice and the food was delicious! The servers ask everyone if they have an allergies or dietary restrictions. Neither of us have any, but I’ve never heard servers anywhere ask about that which I thought was very cool and thoughtful. We’ll be back!“
“ive been to many american chinese places in philadelphia- Asian Bamboo is definitly one of my top 3! Their chickn & broccli is uncompatable! They have very fresh food. Also, as an added bonus have sushi ....again extremly fresh and tasty! i drive 15 minutes past probly 15 other chinese resturants to get my take out here!“
“What an amazing experience. The food was SO GOOD! I am not vegan or kosher personally, but if I were, I would be even further over the moon. If you are in the area, I would consider this a must-try. Next time I come to Philly I will be back!“
“Great beef noodle soup! Great depth of beefy flavor to the broth. You can tell the broth takes a long time to make. Although you can't see the brisket in the photo (my bad), they give you very large pieces that are tender and delicious. Great noodles too. A little pricey for soup, but it's really a meal. Super nice lady/owner server.“
“Dim Sum House is fantastic! Every dish I've tried there has been excellent. The location is convenient, and the atmosphere is cozy. Great place to make a reservation for special occasions like birthdays or NYE. Definitely a must-visit spot for delicious dim sum!Kid-friendliness: My toddler enjoyed many menu items.“
“I was greeted, seated, and served by the owner. His passion for his tea was obvious, and what a treat the hot house tea was! He told me all about brewing, what makes good tea leaves and trees, and how to drink the tea. The food was just as great, the passion that the people here have for what they do is obvious! What a treat... this place deserves every bit of its high ratings.“
“We happened upon this restaurant when we were looking for dim sum. When we arrived we were greeted with a warm smile from the hostess and seated immediately. The food is prepared to order and comes out fresh and hot. They have by far, hands down, the best soup dumplings I've ever had. Paired with the fried rice, Mongolian Beef, Walnut Shrimp, and Scallion Pancakes we had a wonderful meal. We've come a few times since then and the food is consistently fantastic. I appreciate this from a restaurant. 10/10 would come everyday if I lived in the city.“
“Some of the best orange chicken I’ve had in a long while, it’s on the sweeter side but was not mostly breading like most places. Got the Dan Dan and added veggies and egg and was delicious. Portions were good for the prices! Kids devoured their noodles. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Food came out fairly quick and was hot and fresh. Will be coming back in the future.Kid-friendliness: Provided disposable cups and plates for the toddler. Had high chairs.“
“Our waitress Sarah truly made our night out extraordinary! Her fantastic recommendations and attention to detail transformed our dinner into an unforgettable experience. We're already planning our next visit, and you can bet we'll be asking for Sarah as our waitress again, along with the amazing Wagyu beef!“
“Food was incredible, the atmosphere was lively and warm. I felt the service was super, helping me understand the menu and giving me tips with what I should order. This is the best Chinese food I've ever had, hands down. The winter melon tea is delectable btw“
“First time here, the building was clean! Not much space but quaint and chill. I got the Chicken Potstickers and their Happy Hr Turmeric Chicken Wings, SCRUMPTIOUS!!!I enjoyed the service from the Startender and will most certainly be returning for a future Happy Hr :-)“
“Great Chinese food. Everything on the menu was solid, but I’d definitely lean towards their “dry” menu options. The scallion pancakes and dumplings were tasty options for an appetizer. As far as ambiance: we loved the cool vibes the restaurant had to offer. My only thing I’d give a heads up on is the parking situation in the area. It is difficult to find parking and you’ll likely have to pay for a lot and walk, so plan to get here early.“
“One of my favorite spots in the city! Great food and the service team feels like family. They’ll never steer you wrong if you want to try something new, and always deliver your favorites at a high and consistent quality! Maybe I’ll go this weekend - getting hungry while writing this review.“
“It’s been a few months since I last ordered from Asian Fresh Kitchen. As they say first impressions last !! The first time I ordered here the food was amazing, the second not so good. Last night feeling under the weather, I decided to give Asian Fresh Kitchen another shot.II ordered General Tso’s chicken, vegetable, lo mein, one shrimp roll, and two orders of chicken on a stick. I ordered on Uber eats and within about 20 minutes the driver arrived. the food was delivered in a paper bag that was sealed. The food was piping hot. I was really impressed with how well it was packaged. To my delight General Tso’s Chicken was moist, savory, spicy and delicious the broccoli was perfect !!! The vegetable lo mein was very tasty ? The noodles were cooked to perfection !! Chicken on the stick was a first for me. I thought that it was Salty, crunchy and very tasty and lastly the shrimp roll was moist and delicious.I’m not sure what happened this past summer when something just seemed to change here but regardless these pictures and this tasty food says that Asian Fresh Kitchen is back on track serving delicious savory Chinese food !! Take a look ? you know your mouth is watering, so do what’s right and make that phone call and order some of this amazing food !!! Well Done Asian Fresh Kitchen !!“
“My friends and I came to Philly for a day trip from MD! As soon as we reached the city, we came to Chuan Kee Skewer for lunch :)The service was really good with the workers greeting us with a smile and wishing us a happy lunar new year. The food also came out really fast!We ordered an assortment of skewers and non-skewer dishes, my favorite being the Taiwanese sausage and chicken wings! I also really loved the eggplant dish too with how soft and runny it is :) All of the food definitely hit the spot after the long travel! I’ll be sure to come back when I’m in the area!“
“This place is a gem . Don’t know why it wasn’t busy as hell when we went there because the service was great, the food was easily the best Chinese I’ve had in the city, and the portions were at least twice the size of any other place I’ve been to. Expect family style and leftovers . Orange chicken , hot and sour soup , scallion ginger shrimp and salt and pepper tofu are all perfected versions of themselves.“
“This is a hidden gem in Philly. The roasted pork was perfect and most melted in my mouth. Duck was phenomenal, all the greens were tasty and fresh. 10x better than any other place with a line out the door, which Lau Kee should have. Will be back for this amazing food and kind staff.“
“We family moved to NJ for almost 2years, every weekend we have a dinner at Chef Zhang with my friend family. We all love Chef Zhang and definitely sure this is the best Chinese restaurant around south New Jersey. And servers all also good they didn’t disturb you when we ate food. Because I don’t like be disturbed during eating. Love Chef Zhang very much, Wish their business always good !“
“I've dined at this restaurant twice. I ordered the roast duck both times and found that the quality was much better the second time! This restaurant is a good option for folks who want authentic flavors WITHOUT the excessive grease and salt. Usually I don't care for the ambiance when dining in Chinatown because I'm just there for good food, but it's refreshing to get good service and enjoy a comfortable, clean, and less noisy dining experience overall while eating a tasty meal.“
“Great little spot for a quick dine-in or takeout. Good food at good prices. I had the chili oil wontons, which were great, and a lunch special order of chicken pepper and onions. Additionally ordered a lychee jelly green tea which was awesome! All made for a nice lunch.“
“I order the sesame chicken lunch special takeout whenever I’m tired of my packed lunches and the quality/freshness of the food is always consistently great! It never takes longer than 10 minutes from the time I call it in, and the staff is very welcoming.“
“Everything we ordered came out quickly and fresh to order. We ordered several plates to share, including scallion pancakes, dumplings, lo mein, tofu hot pot, and dan dan noodles. All the dishes were full of flavor. We were looking to grab something quick to eat, and this was better than we expected.Vegetarian options: Vegitarian dumplings, and and dish can be done with tofu as the protein.“
“We ordered for the first time this weekend and it was absolutely fabulous! Our appetizers were a Chinese pizza and Crab Rangoon. The Chinese pizza was the best one we've ever had, but as you will quickly see from this review, EVERYTHING was the best we ever had. The pizza was perfectly done with the tastiest dipping sauce. The crab Rangoon was next level. It was homemade and so freaking delicious. Best ever! For dinner we shared the vegetable lomein and general tso shrimp. Both were fantastic and let me say, usually everywhere around here loads up on unnecessary oil, but this wasn't. The container was filled with shrimp. Worth every single penny. Since moving to the area we've tried so many places for these dishes and although some were good, nothing compared to fresh and homemade deliciousness of Yummy Yummy. The woman on the phone was so nice too, as well as the delivery driver. You guys get to take all of my money from now on. Thank you for everything. Now, I think this review made me hungry and I need to order for the Eagles game ?“
“I used to work in Chengdu China and the food here is pretty authentic, would highly recommend the eggplant with duck yolk sauce or the chefs special tofu. It’s spicy! But in the best way ?, also a bit pricey so more of a special treat for me.“
“It is hot pot buffet. very tasty and fresh. It is a good comibation of BBQ and hotpot. I have ordered BBQ beef, prawns, abalone(鲍鱼)for hot pot.。 I got mushroom, vegitable, beef, clams by myself. There is plenty of great food. I really like the delicous food and service. The waitress is very patient and pleasant. I will definitely dine there again. It is a hidden jem.“
“Solid to go lunch options and one of the few prices point you'll still find for under $10 for lunch. No frills take out joint. The lunch egg roll has been downsized a bit here to more of a spring roll. The fried rice is passable but not the best out there.“
“First time trying this place in back of the supermarket. Super friendly man at the counter. He described the foods as we ordered our favorites: Grilled Pork Banh Mi (Vietnamese baguette with grilled pork and vegetables)and bbq roast pork bun. Very flavorful and delicious. Definitely worth a try. Prices are reasonable.“
“To start off, there was no wait!! Already off on a good note. When we arrived, we were directed upstairs where there were bigger tables and a great atmosphere. We were seated by to coolest server who went on to explain how their hotpot works. She really took her time and answered our questions. I was treating son and granddaughter to dinner. It was my granddaughter’s first hotpot experience and she was excited. They had a tablet at every table so you can pick out what you want a send it straight to the kitchen, which I thought was a great touch. When the food arrived to our table, the cook time was explained to us about every item. Everything was really good. We had both the waygu brisket and the waygu ribeye. We also had the seafood combo which came with abalone. I had never had it before but always wanted to try it. It was pretty good. Both broths were really delicious. My granddaughter and I choose the mushrooms broth and my son choose the original bone broth. The only thing I didn’t like was that you had to share the sauces with the other tables. You also had to pay for all of your drinks (soda, juice, milk tea). Other than that everything else was all you can eat. We had a great time a would definitely be back. I highly recommend this place.“
“Soy milk, steamed buns, tofu curds, and rice dumplings are all authentic and delicious. The boss is very friendly. Go early in the morning when there are fewer people, sit in the shop and eat slowly, with the sun shining on your face, it is very comfortable.“
“Food. This place is now the best dim sum anywhere in the city. And for dinners they are well known for the fresh lobster. Get it with hot peppers or with salt/pepper.Service. The owner is always on site, tireless and attentive. Staff are dressed on point and an extension of her charisma.Atmosphere. This venue hosts the main Chinese New Year and community events every year. You can see all the Chinatown restaurateurs and community builders here. This is the place that organized to change Phila voting ballots to add a third language choice next to English and Spanish, reflecting the new demographics of the city.“
“The best place for duck. I have out of state family who will always ask to eat here everytime they’re in town. My go-to dishes are: Peking duck, Sangkee seafood fried rice, beef chow fun, clams in black bean sauce. Food is always great and comes out fast. Waiters could be a little more friendlier.“
“We have eaten here multiple times now and it has always been wonderful. Today, we stopped in to dine in and the restaurant was perfect. Nice dining area and spotless! The food was wonderful! what blows me away is how sweet the owners and workers are, they are the kindest people! This has and always will be our go-to place! If you haven’t been yet, go!“
“I called them if I can pay by cash when they deliver and they were very informative and nice about it. They close at 11:30 at the time of ordering and I ordered at 11:00 and they came around 11:40, they were not mad about it at all and the food was sooooo Delious. 2 fried rice with orange chicken and god was that chicken so good“
“Ordered the beef stewed with noodle soup and the beef and beef ball noodle soup and it was amazing. We got the egg soda and it was also delicious! I should’ve ordered the regular size instead of a large because the portion size was huge. Will definitely come back“
“This place has amazing food, if you like spicy food, this hits the spot! The service was slow, the place got busy after I placed the order. They did have lot of orders coming through. But the staff were super helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is decent, the biggest takeaway is the food! Nonetheless everything we ordered was great, my fav is Spicy sauce style with fish and white rice.“
“Love this place! The food is excellent and inexpensive for what you get, the service is great (they treat you like your family or their favorite customer), and to top it all off… they are a byob establishment. No need to pay inflated prices for your poison of choice.“
“Best halal Chinese take out in Philadelphia. They do have seating of four for 2 groups. They are also very clean and nice. Even the bathroom and the kitchen is clean. The best part is their food actually taste good and they have a good deal on the lunch special.Dietary restrictions: HalalParking: Usually parking is available but sometimes you might have to park far“
“Tracy Chinese Restaurant is the best in that particular neighborhood. I've lived there almost my whole life and this is the cleanest and tastiest Chinese restaurant around Kensington.... but it's Kensington so you already should have any idea of what's outside of the “
“We were very disappointed in the food. The California roll was too fishy and it had to be thown away. the chicken and broccoli was greasy for some reason (called and was told possibly it was the oil they used and offered to send another but person didn't want) the last combination platter was sweet & sour chicken and the most that can be said is at least it was edible. First time order and for the poor food & amount of money spent we definitely will not return, Hopefully we just hit an off night.“
