I been there now a few times now, we always order the same BBQ Chicken & appetizer Garlic Shrimp, to go, the (churrasco) BBQ Chicken has been delicious ever time, the garlic shrimp is so, so good, good fries & rice, my new place for Portuguese food take out.
Short review here of this Craven BBQ in Cranford, NJ. I picked up a meal from them last night and the food is pretty consistently well made. I've tried a variety of dishes previously and the chicken I seem to typically come back to. The grilled sardines are a particular stand out of mine but you gotta love sardines to eat them lol.... Craven BBQ is amazing - chicken is good, standard Portuguese BBQ but the standouts are the pork ribs and the fries! The ribs are the perfect combination of tangy and smokey. The fries aren't frozen resturant depot ones thrown into a fryer; these are fresh cut fried and kissed with a little slat. The best comparison for their fries are boardwalk fries. You won't be disappointed going there.
