“I was staying in jersey for a conference and this restaurant was the closest to our hotel. It certainly did not disappoint. Everything from the appetizers to the dessert was absolutely delicious. Thinner than Sicilian, thicker than regular crust in NJ, made in a pan and not greasy (I know, a lot to ask). I finally found it!! Most NJ pan pizzas, outside of Pizza Hut, seem paper thin and not what I was looking for though tasty. I ordered for the first time (Kenilworth) the Vodka pan pizza and it was so delicious! I see in reviews that many here call it deep dish (different than true crust of a deep dish), but it isn't... The crust and sauce were fantastic. Next time I will add basil or try another. Delivery was less than 1 hr over lunch time. Also felt like it was cooked perfectly for me.“

The staff are all nice especially our server Fermin. He was very pleasant and always had a warm smile. “The other night we went to Sapori for dinner. We walked in and were greeted warmly. The staff here is super friendly and very accommodating. They seated us at our table by a window. The restaurant has a warm, romantic vibe with beautiful art work. We were given menus which is extensive and you have a lot to choose from plus they also had specials. They bring out bread, eggplant caponata and butter. I thought it was really good and different than just the traditional bread and butter option. We decided to go with fried calamari for an app. It was perfect.. Very crunchy, fresh.. lightly seasoned! Served with fresh tomato sauce. A rather large portion to share. Next for dinner I had a special- pistachio encrusted Chilean sea bass with citrus glaze and roasted veggies and potatoes. This was such a delightful dish. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The pistachios were so good on top of the fish and the glaze balanced the dish. The veggies were crunchy and seasoned perfectly with garlic and butter. I really enjoyed this dish. The linguine with white clam sauce. Was fresh and extremely delicious. This dish was packed with clams and a ton of roasted garlic. I must say the pasta dishes are very large. Lastly spaghetti with marinara the sauce was fresh and we really enjoyed it. the spaghetti was more thicker like a bucatini. And unfortunately it was a tad under done. It needed a minute or two in the water to be perfectly al dente. Other than that this was a perfect dinner. For dessert we ordered the chocolate lava cake and tiramisu. It seemed like it was home made. Lava cake tasted amazing it was accompanied by vanilla ice cream. the tiramisu was light and not too sweet. Cappuccino was perfect not bitter or overly milky. By far I really enjoyed Sapori and I would def recommend coming here for dinner. The ambience, staff and food were extremely enjoyable! Parking in street. Small parking lot.“

I’ve never questioned how amazing the pizza was, it was more when they first opened the wait was outrageously long and often was not ready after the two and a half hour wait. “This is a small, very busy restaurant, right around the corner from the Prudential center. We had a Napoleatano Pizza. It was very good. The bartending service was a little slow, but again it was VERY busy right before a sold out concert at the Prudential Center. The atmosphere was very nice, but very tight and very crowded. I can't fault them for any of this. But I will say that our pizza arrived before our drinks, hence the 3 stars for service.“
