We love dining at El Mejicano. The food is delicious and quickly prepared. The service, usually by Alberto, is top-notch. It's all reasonably priced, too. Take-out is good, too.Plus, we left our diaper bag there by mistake and they kept it in a closest for a few months until they saw us again. The chips and salsa were DELICIOUS! This may have been the best salsa I’ve ever had, but be warned, only one round of chips and salsa is free, after that, you will be charged $4.50 for refills.Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. He helped answer all of our questions and make recommendations.The food was tasty, but the shrimp tacos were a little light on the contents.The atmosphere was cozy, however seemed a little dirty and dusty.

The place was decorated as you would expect for a Mexican restaurant. The staff were all nice and accommodating, explaining a few pointers as well. The food was spot on, as authentic as I've eaten in Mexico. The portions were large and the prices very fair, especially in 2024. We'll be back.Parking: Easily park in front of or across the street in the free municipal lot.
