Always looking for NJ pizzerias to try, today I had the chance to stop in at Jimmy Tomato's in Denville. I had seen a post from a Yelp friend who'd been here recently and knew I'd have to try it myself. I was not disappointed! I had a slice of the Dhoom Tandoori Chicken and it was different and delicious. Made with lots of spices, this slice had a real kick to it. This is a great little pizzaria! I'm pretty new to Indian food, and being a little cautious when my friend and I went to eat here I ordered a basic, traditional pizza and my friend selected one of their Indian pizzas. While my pizza was certainly delicious, I tried a piece of my friend's pizza and it was amazing! It was a totally unexpected taste, but somehow everything blended together perfectly. We have never been here before and went late tonight to pick up surprise bags with random food from the Too Good To Go app (which is awesome that they are actively working to reduce their food waste by participating)...They just gained new regular customers. Hands down best pizza I've ever tasted. We will for sure be going back. And they are so nice and friendly there. Definitely will be recommending this place as a go-to for friends!!!
