“Had brunch at the restaurant. Huge menu and everything we ordered was great. The breakfast dish that was a combination of a toasted cheesy arepa, grilled beef, and fried rice blew my mind. What’s not to love! We also ordered pork in pineapple sauce which was really unique and actually pretty good. Portions were huge and it was a good, heavy meal.”

“When I visited I got the soup/salad combo. The salad bar is extremely good and very well kept, and the soup was to die for. The service was fast and our waitress Halee was extremely kind to us. Overall this location has amazing food, amazing service, and a clean modern atmosphere.”

“My boyfriend made reservations to Del Porto to celebrate my 43rd Birthday. This was our 1st time visiting this restaurant. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. The staff are all nice especially our server Fermin. He was very pleasant and always had a warm smile. Our food was very delicious from the appetizer, crispy eggplant ,to my main course Bronzino and to my Tahitian Creme Brulee desert. I loved this restaurant and my experience here. I would definitely recommend to all. Very nice and classy look.Parking: Valet parking is available.”

“Visited 2 times—first the bakery during a pit stop for some sweets, and then the restaurant the next Saturday evening for a big family dinner. Pablo and Octavio made our night a wonderful one! The majority of my in laws had not experienced Colombian cuisine/culture until this evening. From the authentic ingredients and aguardiente cocktails, to the lively entertainment we went home well fed and with great memories!”

“Tired and weary from a 4 hr flight, we got into Newark at 12am. We asked the, at first, grumpy car rental lady if she wanted to go eat with us at White Castle. “OMG, they’re traaaash now,” she said to our horror. She recommended this place and bless her, with her now cheerful disposition (I assume it was because I offered to beat anyone who was rude to her).Being from Arizona, we were not prepared for the treacherous journey to satiate our hunger. But we did conquer the wild roads at now 1am.We were greeted by a cheerful cashier who took our order, thinking nothing of our disheveled looks. We peered around and it had come up that we were from out of state, tired, hungry and terrified of the parking situation we had just faced.We didn’t order the chicken, but had we known it was the best dish on their menu, we would have! He brought us out complementary chicken with some biscuits. My partner and I ravaged the piping hot food and it wasn’t the best fried chicken we had had because we were hungry, but because it was moist, crunchy and flavorful.Thank you! We worried that NJ would be full of creeps, but our first meeting was such a pleasant one, it filled not just our bellies, but our hearts.”

I've never had an arepa before so I didn't know what to expect. I got the arepa cubana and omg, it was SO good. It was pretty big too, so I could only eat half at the time and happily saved my other half for later in the day. The arepa wasn't oily/greasy and had the right amount of crunch to it. I'm so glad they didn't overdo it with their house made sauce because it would have left a soggy mess. Notes: Street parking only”

This family owned an operated Restaurant/ Bar.Has been serving the best ?? Costa Rican Cusine for over 20 years. The menu is full of all sorts of great dishes. From a surf and turf to a Chifrijo. One of my personal favorites.White Rice covered in black beans with small pieces of Chicharon mixed in.( fried pork bits) topped with pico de gallo and sliced avocado. A hardy meal. My go to after a long day and an empty stomach.The prices are really reasonable.If you are just looking to have a good time and catch up with some friends.Olga's Place is that place. Where the music is playing just loud enough to make you dance in your seat. But not so loud where you can't enjoy the conversation with your date.You can sit at the bar or dinning room. “My wife and I stopped here for an early morning breakfast after getting in late to Newark airport. It’s 5 minutes from the airport and a good stop. I gave it a 3 for atmosphere because it’s a small place and every seat is near the kitchen, but it’s a pleasant atmosphere nonetheless. I had the corned beef hash and eggs, and it was great. They accommodated my wife’s request to have strawberries cooked in with her oatmeal and that was great too. The coffee is definitely on the better end of the diner coffee scale. We will come back next time we’re in the area.”

“For an authentic Italian experience, Panini Grill is a must! The servers are warm and friendly; and Christina is just perfection! She really made our dining experience memorable. My husband and I drove in from PA after watching Chef Peter’s reels on Instagram. We called two couples from Brooklyn and met them. There were parking spots all over (early Saturday night) but they do have valet parking, which is a big plus. Our food order was as follows: Italian Nachos (so good, especially with the cheese sauce on the side), fried calamari (I’m not a fan but my husband and everyone who ate them said they were good), Margherita Pizza (thin, crispy, delicious), another pizza with prosciutto, mushrooms, cheese & arugula (possibly the best pizza I’ve had in a really long time), baked clams (my friend said they were really good), chicken cutlet parm panini (Delish! The chicken cutlets were pounded, tender and delicious… for $15 you can eat for 2 days… their panini are huge), broccoli rabe panini that I heard was excellent, my husband had the special pasta dish of paccheri with burrata (I tried this and loved it), and finally, an order of cacio è pepe — the presentation of this is so fun, they play Mambo Italiano and we clapped and sang while Christina tossed the pasta in the flaming wheel of parmigiano and I think my friend’s husband ate it all, so it must’ve been good bc he’s not a big eater. It was a great night … and the music!! If you want to know what we listened to growing up in an Italian household, you’ll feel joy coming from the speakers of Panini Grill… classics like Felicità, Tu, O Saraceno, Sarà Perché Ti Amo I think were all songs I heard last night. What a blast from the past! They even had fun American music, but my favorites were the Italian tunes. What a great night! The 2 hour drive was so worth it and we will definitely be back, and both couples we were with said they were definitely going back. Panini Grill makes me wish I still lived in the neighborhood bc I’d be there a couple times a week! Great place! And before we walked out the door, my husband and I said to the patrons and staff “when you dine at Panini Grill, non ti preoccupare, tutt’ apposto!!! ?? Thanks for a terrific dinner and we will be back soon and I’m already thinking about catering! Yes! “Tired and weary from a 4 hr flight, we got into Newark at 12am. We asked the, at first, grumpy car rental lady if she wanted to go eat with us at White Castle. “OMG, they’re traaaash now,” she said to our horror. She recommended this place and bless her, with her now cheerful disposition (I assume it was because I offered to beat anyone who was rude to her).Being from Arizona, we were not prepared for the treacherous journey to satiate our hunger. But we did conquer the wild roads at now 1am.We were greeted by a cheerful cashier who took our order, thinking nothing of our disheveled looks. We peered around and it had come up that we were from out of state, tired, hungry and terrified of the parking situation we had just faced.We didn’t order the chicken, but had we known it was the best dish on their menu, we would have! He brought us out complementary chicken with some biscuits. My partner and I ravaged the piping hot food and it wasn’t the best fried chicken we had had because we were hungry, but because it was moist, crunchy and flavorful.Thank you! We worried that NJ would be full of creeps, but our first meeting was such a pleasant one, it filled not just our bellies, but our hearts.”

“The food is good, the service to. the place is not that busy, which makes it great. The only reason I've given food 4 stars is because the day that I ordered a steak(medium), it was rear, and when I sent it back and came back, it was still rear. Hopefully, next time is better.”
“This diner's service is always great. I think there is so much to choose from it can be intimidating. When it was time to pay the check, I noticed their new pay system had already added a 15% tip to the bill. I think tipping should ALWAYS be the discretion of the patron. Because my server was great, I didn't have a problem paying the 15%. I wonder if her tip is shared. FYI, you can change the tip amount at the register, but ya'll need to pay attention.Food at this diner is always yummy. The staff is great and at my visit they were on top of everything. There is someone ready to clear your plate if you're done. Our server was attentive. Making sure if we needed anything else during our meal.Kid-friendliness: They have paper placemats for kids to doodle while waiting for their meal.”

Not enough words to say how special the owner made this day for my son’s birthday celebration. “My boyfriend made reservations to Del Porto to celebrate my 43rd Birthday. This was our 1st time visiting this restaurant. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. The staff are all nice especially our server Fermin. He was very pleasant and always had a warm smile. Our food was very delicious from the appetizer, crispy eggplant ,to my main course Bronzino and to my Tahitian Creme Brulee desert. I loved this restaurant and my experience here. I would definitely recommend to all. Very nice and classy look.Parking: Valet parking is available.”
