If you cannot wait for the table, I'd recommend checking the live tracker on Google maps.We came in on Sunday, St Patrick's day, and as a large group (of 24) the place was PACKED...We had to wait over 30 minutes, but it was worth it.Prices are not low, but you do get your money's worth.Portions are BIG, selection is great so even picky eaters can find something to eat.Also, since it is a diner, you can have breakfast for lunch or dinner...Service is quite fast and attentive but...read full review

Last Wednesday, we took our family of 5 adults and a 2 1/2 year old out to eat for my sister in law's birthday?.We all were very happy with our delicious food and they sang happy birthday to my sister in law, who needed some cheering up.The service was excellent as well! Meagan is a terrific waitress!!!!Will highly recommend West Essex Diner to all our friends and family.

One of the better diners in the area. Food selection is great, regardless if you go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Service is always quick and professional. It's normally pretty busy, but it's never an inconvenient wait as they always keep things moving. And it's very well kept and cozy-feeling in there. Highly recommended.
