“I love Asian Yummy. Their food is delicious albeit I usually order the same items; hot and sour soup, steamed chicken with steamed Chinese vegetables (sauce on the side) and on occasion I order Pad Thai with shrimp or Undon noodles with shrimp. The owners of Asian Yummy are wonderful who are friendly, caring and hard working people. ❤??“
“Best chinese takeout in the area. I've been going to this place for years and never had a problem with the great priced fresh top quality food or the staff who are extremely busy trying to make the customers happy. Please give them a break on engaging every customer with a smile and a convo . They are very busy and do their best and do appreciate each and every customer. They have proven this by their dedication to keeping prices extremely fair and offering great food. Not every culture is like ours and it takes time to make relationships. I suggest the sweet and sour shrimp , garlic chicken, beef and broccoli and all the special dishes are very tasty. It's all good at bamboo. We need to embrace bamboo who still offers a long list of tasty lunch specials which most are under 6 dollars. And yes that includes soup egg roll or soda. Not a misprint yes 6 dollars. You wont find this anywhere else in the area. Trust me the food is as good and in most cases better than competing chinese places that have all jacked up lunch special prices .Please people let's not lose this gem because a lady forgot to say thank you or you missed a smile believe me they appreciate you. Different culture trying the best they can give them a chance and let's keep them and the great tasty food around for a long long time.In the end I think it lies with all of us to make them feel welcome not relying on them who are working extremely hard to please us.“
“The food was amazing! My friend and I came around 7ish on a Sunday and had to put our names down. Not too much of a wait so we went next door and got tea. Once we were seated, our waiter was so helpful and explained everything to us since it was our first time there. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were amazing. The Year of the Rabbit so good, definitely recommend! I will definitely be back!“
“Service and atmosphere: Very spacious with Chinese/Asian style of decoration. Service here is incredibly fast and the staffs are very friendly as well.(1) Scallion Pancake: Very thin and super crispy outside but pretty chewy inside, it went super well with Hoisin sauce.(2) Chicken in wine sauce: The chicken was cooked perfect but the flavor of this dish was way too salty for me. Would pair great with some white rice.(3) Crab meat & pork soup dumplings: Very decent! A dumpling itself is pretty bigger than other dumplings I’ve tried before. The way I have it is to poke a hole to taste the juice then get a little bit soy sauce mixed with vinegar and thin sliced ginger and take everything in one bite. Perfect.(4) Stir-fried Bok Choy: Pretty good but not too impressive to me. I wish there would be more garlic to it.(5) Shanghai Fried Udon: It was okay but not special enough for me to remember.(6) Pan fried crispy noodles with vegetables: I love this dish the most! Very saucy and flavorful and has a lot of mushrooms and veggies to it. However, you should eat this right when it comes out or else your noodles will get soggy.(7) Beef braised noodles: It was okay as well, not too special for me to remember. I wish it was spicier.Overall, the experience was worth it to try one of the very popular restaurants in Cherry Hill. Decent selection of Chinese dishes yet they taste quite too salty to my own liking.“
“Seated super quickly with a big group, wasn’t very busy. Got our food quickly, and it was delicious! All 7 of us loved our food. Pretty reasonable prices for large servings, definitely recommend the hand pulled noodles and scallion pancakes. Clean bathrooms! Make sure to have venmo or cash on hand.“
“La Chinesca exceeded expectations. Our server was so welcoming & she made the experience here. The fried wontons to start & the pork belly bao buns were delicious. We will be back when it gets warmer to take advantage of the full vibe of the restaurant & check out the downstairs bar. This place is a gem ?“
“This place is absolutely delicious! This is my second time here and I am still blown away with how good everything was. My favorite was the cilantro chicken, and it was the most tender and buttery pieces of chicken I've ever had. I really recommend this place and I can't wait to come back and try more. They have so many options here and everything I've had here was very good.“
“I am surprised this place has only got about 350 reviews at time of writing. This place was very good for hotpot options. When you arrive, you get asked if you want the normal or premium option (you get to pick 2 premium options as a once off per person). We just went for the normal one and it was great! You order the hotpot meats via iPad (and even had option for Sashimi which was unexpected, but very nice!). Everything else you go up and get yourself, which I prefer as you can control how much you get. They also had a small selection of cold "salad" items such as chicken feet, cold sliced beef, wood ear and chilli. These options were delicious.Re drinks: The price includes all you can drink. They have a fridge with bottled drinks that you would expect to find in a Chinese supermarket, and you basically help yourself to as much as you want. There is also a small selection of deserts - I am always too full to eat these so cannot comment on it!Would love to go back here again in future.“
“I went for my birthday and the service was exceptional. My server was a pisces so she already earned some points just for that. Her food recommendations were right on point. She definitely knew her job! The atmosphere was really nice. I enjoyed myself.“
“Came here solely to get Tofu Pudding (Doufuhua). For a pint, this goes for about $4. If you're not going to consume it at the store (there's a small seating area), make sure you don't shake it as the pudding itself will fall apart and turn into literal soy milk with chunks. Be sure to add the syrup to make it sweet!“
“Fantastic selection of Chinese vegetarian dishes. Food tasted great. Services was good. Prices were reasonable compared to what other restaurants of similar standards have hiked up prices. One of the best crispy spring rolls one can enjoy. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: The restaurant serves only vegetarian dishes.Parking: Hard to find street parking“
“Love this place. Went here with my sister and love that they opened a spot in Chinatown. The location is great and love the interior. We first went to the location in southwest philadelphia, and ice cream and boba is definitely a YES. Tried the taro boba milk tea with taro ice cream in Chinatown and is truly my favorite now. They have other items on their menu, so if you love boba and ice cream I highly recommend going here.“
“Love love love Ozaki! It’s my favorite Asian restaurant. Their sushi is so good. I recently had the all you can eat sushi for a reasonable price and you can choose appetizers/drink/entree/however much sushi you want/dessert. I tried like 5 different sushi rolls and they were all so good. The service is always good and the restaurant is always clean. I always recommend ppl to go there & have taken my friends, boyfriend, and parents there (on separate occasions, that’s how much I love the food!)“
“Solid to go lunch options and one of the few prices point you'll still find for under $10 for lunch. No frills take out joint. The lunch egg roll has been downsized a bit here to more of a spring roll. The fried rice is passable but not the best out there.“
“My boyfriend brought me here last night. He had been here once before for a business meeting and thought I’d like it a lot! And I did! Everyone was super nice and the food was delicious! The servers ask everyone if they have an allergies or dietary restrictions. Neither of us have any, but I’ve never heard servers anywhere ask about that which I thought was very cool and thoughtful. We’ll be back!“
“Very small neighborhood restaurant, if you want most authentic you know these places are the best. Service was great, speaks both English and Khmer. It was so cold yesterday so a nice hot bowl of Cambodian noodle soup was perfect! And of course when you can't say no to the soup but also want the dry version, do both, yum!!“
“Cash only, no Venmo!!!Past review say Venmo is allowed but in-person, Venmo was declined, only option was cash, credit card with fee, Apple Pay with fee.Hand pulled or shaved noodles here are excellent! Had dine in and take out before.Service is bare minimum, but not surprising from a Chinese restaurant.“
“What an amazing experience. The food was SO GOOD! I am not vegan or kosher personally, but if I were, I would be even further over the moon. If you are in the area, I would consider this a must-try. Next time I come to Philly I will be back!“
“ive been to many american chinese places in philadelphia- Asian Bamboo is definitly one of my top 3! Their chickn & broccli is uncompatable! They have very fresh food. Also, as an added bonus have sushi ....again extremly fresh and tasty! i drive 15 minutes past probly 15 other chinese resturants to get my take out here!“
“Great beef noodle soup! Great depth of beefy flavor to the broth. You can tell the broth takes a long time to make. Although you can't see the brisket in the photo (my bad), they give you very large pieces that are tender and delicious. Great noodles too. A little pricey for soup, but it's really a meal. Super nice lady/owner server.“
“I was greeted, seated, and served by the owner. His passion for his tea was obvious, and what a treat the hot house tea was! He told me all about brewing, what makes good tea leaves and trees, and how to drink the tea. The food was just as great, the passion that the people here have for what they do is obvious! What a treat... this place deserves every bit of its high ratings.“
“Food tastes fresh and great, it was ready to eat in 10 minutes after I called. The fried chicken wings were crunchy on the outside and soft tender meat in the inside. But the French fries were average. The home made hot sauce that I asked her to put on them was surprisingly good and not too spicy.“
“Some of the best orange chicken I’ve had in a long while, it’s on the sweeter side but was not mostly breading like most places. Got the Dan Dan and added veggies and egg and was delicious. Portions were good for the prices! Kids devoured their noodles. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Food came out fairly quick and was hot and fresh. Will be coming back in the future.Kid-friendliness: Provided disposable cups and plates for the toddler. Had high chairs.“
“Our waitress Sarah truly made our night out extraordinary! Her fantastic recommendations and attention to detail transformed our dinner into an unforgettable experience. We're already planning our next visit, and you can bet we'll be asking for Sarah as our waitress again, along with the amazing Wagyu beef!“
“This is our default restaurant to come whenever we come to Philadelphia. We enjoyed the fish fillets in spicy soup. Their other dishes were good and good size. The servers were friendly and attentive. We were here last at 7:30pm on a Saturday night and waited about 20 minutes to get seated. So plan your visit accordingly.Highly recommended.“
“We family moved to NJ for almost 2years, every weekend we have a dinner at Chef Zhang with my friend family. We all love Chef Zhang and definitely sure this is the best Chinese restaurant around south New Jersey. And servers all also good they didn’t disturb you when we ate food. Because I don’t like be disturbed during eating. Love Chef Zhang very much, Wish their business always good !“
“First time here, the building was clean! Not much space but quaint and chill. I got the Chicken Potstickers and their Happy Hr Turmeric Chicken Wings, SCRUMPTIOUS!!!I enjoyed the service from the Startender and will most certainly be returning for a future Happy Hr :-)“
“Great Chinese food. Everything on the menu was solid, but I’d definitely lean towards their “dry” menu options. The scallion pancakes and dumplings were tasty options for an appetizer. As far as ambiance: we loved the cool vibes the restaurant had to offer. My only thing I’d give a heads up on is the parking situation in the area. It is difficult to find parking and you’ll likely have to pay for a lot and walk, so plan to get here early.“
“We happened upon this restaurant when we were looking for dim sum. When we arrived we were greeted with a warm smile from the hostess and seated immediately. The food is prepared to order and comes out fresh and hot. They have by far, hands down, the best soup dumplings I've ever had. Paired with the fried rice, Mongolian Beef, Walnut Shrimp, and Scallion Pancakes we had a wonderful meal. We've come a few times since then and the food is consistently fantastic. I appreciate this from a restaurant. 10/10 would come everyday if I lived in the city.“
“Consistently high quality takeout Chinese. Pros: food is always hot and tastes good, delivery is SUPER fast, food is more than affordable. Cons: no online ordering (old school, pick up the phone), can’t see a current menu online, cash only. Pretty much the best I’ve found in this neighborhood.“
“Truly exquisite Chinese restaurant. There are always a lot of people waiting to get in because the food and service are truly excellent. I've been several times over the years and the thing I like the most is their steamed dumplings or dumplings as they call them here. But it's not just that, there's everything good here.“
“This place was very cute..The food was delicious..We are out of towers and we use yelp for everything..The reviews is what made us decide on this place. The Buffalo chicken pizza was bomb, and the ingredients were very fresh. Also for checking in thru yelp my husband and I received to free pesto garlic knots..Yummy yummy yummy is all I can say.“
“You don’t go here for the atmosphere- you go for the food. It’s a small place, with five tables total that does an amazing amount of takeout business besides their dine in business. We had steamed pork dumplings which were good. We had the House Special Pan Fried Noodles and the Shrimp with Snow Peas and Mushrooms which were both excellent. Portions were generous and the service was good as well. We definitely plan to return.“
“Wings are fried to perfection in a clean workspace (atleast it's cleaner than most establishment) Been watching imperial turn to Kensington and Allegheny. Haven't had a bad experience yet at the kitchen. Just my humble opinion which isn't worth much. Do your homework “
“Everything was great except for the music they were playing in the front area which had a lot of base which I don't find very appropriate for nice dining. Had the scallops and vegetables and it was wonderful. The staff were very friendly.“
“Great little spot for a quick dine-in or takeout. Good food at good prices. I had the chili oil wontons, which were great, and a lunch special order of chicken pepper and onions. Additionally ordered a lychee jelly green tea which was awesome! All made for a nice lunch.“
“I've dined at this restaurant twice. I ordered the roast duck both times and found that the quality was much better the second time! This restaurant is a good option for folks who want authentic flavors WITHOUT the excessive grease and salt. Usually I don't care for the ambiance when dining in Chinatown because I'm just there for good food, but it's refreshing to get good service and enjoy a comfortable, clean, and less noisy dining experience overall while eating a tasty meal.“
“Ordered the beef stewed with noodle soup and the beef and beef ball noodle soup and it was amazing. We got the egg soda and it was also delicious! I should’ve ordered the regular size instead of a large because the portion size was huge. Will definitely come back“
“This isn't a sit down place, just takeout. I have been coming to this place for 20years and it's my favorite Chinese restaurant. I moved an extra 10minutes away from it a few years ago and i take that extra time to come here over closer options. If anyone in my house is sick we need New Hong Kong's wonton soup as part of our recovery. The owners are awesome too.“
“My friends and I came to Philly for a day trip from MD! As soon as we reached the city, we came to Chuan Kee Skewer for lunch :)The service was really good with the workers greeting us with a smile and wishing us a happy lunar new year. The food also came out really fast!We ordered an assortment of skewers and non-skewer dishes, my favorite being the Taiwanese sausage and chicken wings! I also really loved the eggplant dish too with how soft and runny it is :) All of the food definitely hit the spot after the long travel! I’ll be sure to come back when I’m in the area!“
“This place has amazing food, if you like spicy food, this hits the spot! The service was slow, the place got busy after I placed the order. They did have lot of orders coming through. But the staff were super helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is decent, the biggest takeaway is the food! Nonetheless everything we ordered was great, my fav is Spicy sauce style with fish and white rice.“
“I order the sesame chicken lunch special takeout whenever I’m tired of my packed lunches and the quality/freshness of the food is always consistently great! It never takes longer than 10 minutes from the time I call it in, and the staff is very welcoming.“
“We in the hood it don't get no better then this you can Combo your meal into two dishes fast n great tasting I been all around Philly n they holding it down you could get robbed r killed wanting for your food back block York Ave but it worth the wait seriously ...don't deliver we n da hood ..free young juju“
“They wings are good my only problem I have with them is they never open when they suppose to be open it says 12 and they literally don’t open til 12:30 almost 1 my break at 12 so I be wanting to order at 12 they need to do better with the time they open“
“I try to visit as many restaurants as possible at least one time. This place had decent food service was okay atmosphere was okay definitely would come back again in the future. Keep up the good work God bless to all go eagles win the super bowl.“
“We ordered for the first time this weekend and it was absolutely fabulous! Our appetizers were a Chinese pizza and Crab Rangoon. The Chinese pizza was the best one we've ever had, but as you will quickly see from this review, EVERYTHING was the best we ever had. The pizza was perfectly done with the tastiest dipping sauce. The crab Rangoon was next level. It was homemade and so freaking delicious. Best ever! For dinner we shared the vegetable lomein and general tso shrimp. Both were fantastic and let me say, usually everywhere around here loads up on unnecessary oil, but this wasn't. The container was filled with shrimp. Worth every single penny. Since moving to the area we've tried so many places for these dishes and although some were good, nothing compared to fresh and homemade deliciousness of Yummy Yummy. The woman on the phone was so nice too, as well as the delivery driver. You guys get to take all of my money from now on. Thank you for everything. Now, I think this review made me hungry and I need to order for the Eagles game ?“
“Best General Tso's chicken I haver ever had. And through the years I have had many different restaurants General Tso's chicken and by far, this was the best. All the takeout Chinese that I have been to, all give you two pieces of broccoli. I got at least 7-10 pieces of perfectly steamed broccoli. The chicken was cooked to perfection. My food was very fresh and delicious. The price was the cheapest, I ever paid for a large General tso's Chicken. I will come here again, and try other dishes.“
“This was a pleasant surprise for really good, cheap, Chinese takeout.I had 0 expectations but the reviews said the food was good so decided to give it a try. The first picture posted is beef and broccoli which was amazing.I got the chance to go back and got general Tso's chicken. This place is the bomb. I wish I could understand anybody there but with the thick plate of glass in between us it just doesn't work. I don't care, go try this place. Every time I go back I'll post a new picture, lol. (Btw the beef and broccoli pic is better than the pic general tsos chicken but trust me, it's good)It's in a bad area, the windows have bullet holes in them. If you scared, go during the day. They only take cash. I posted a pic of the menu as well, it's old and idk what the new prices are but just add 1-2$ to whatever you order.“
“my go-to Chinese food. even living out the area, I still come back. awesome wings and beef w broccoli! always consistent from the sweet older lady to this younger couple.free street parking w a couple spaces on the property. there used to be couple tables inside but take out only now.highly recommend: wings, bwb, cwb, and egg foo young! no pics for now due to eating the food immediately ?“
