This place is my go-to for fresh sashimi when I'm in the area. A true mom-and-pop place, the restaurant is run by a cute and hardworking couple and that is it in terms of staff. I see many reviews here about the lack of service but that has never been a problem for me -- they work diligently to get food out quickly and that's all that matters! Excellent Authentic Japanese. Very low key operation. Great for dining out. Love the Sushi, as well as the Udon Noodles. The eggplant appetizer is to die for. Give them a try- you won’t regret it.
I went back again today and the food is phenomenal. I don't know that I've ever had authentic Japanese food before but I'll never go back now. The katsudon was so good and it was the best miso soup I've had.
