P&P is one of those local spots with amazing food no one really knows about. I have been coming here since I was a little kid. This is one of those hidden gems, a lot of the people in there have been coming for years and all know each other. I usually get the Colossal or the lumberjack special. Place closes early but that's really just cause they are mainly breakfast. They also have a convenient store in the restaurant as well. Great for what it is: Classic hometown breakfast and lunch spot. Good Americana cheap eats; mostly grill cooking, lots of butter. A deli too. Ok Costco Muffins. The special home made Manhattan clam chowder is surprisingly good. Excellent veteran staff; if you come while it's not busy, their banter is funny/entertaining; (sit at the counter) . Right on middle rd, easy to see from the street. Decent sized store, good service, helped me order my breakfast( lots of choices ). I ordered a veggie omelet w/ cornbeef, toast & home fries. Very nice portions, very good breakfast. They had black & white cookies I ment to get one before I left, next time.
