Friendly workers and decent prices, but store has limited selections, due to footprint, which is shared with its pub. Store Managers are attentive and offer other suggestions when possible.
Friendly bartenders, social distancing was in effect, and the atmosphere was great to have a drink with a friend without having to fight the soundsystem or crowd to be heard.I've also been there on busy nights pre- covid, and while you can't avoid crowds, everyone is friendly and the service is fast. Poole Ave Bar is our spot. We stop by twice a week for some food and drinks, but most of all the laughs from the characters that frequent the bar. And, there are some characters... but it's what makes this spot enjoyable. It's a townie bar where everyone ends up knowing your name. Everyone is super friendly, including the staff. Food is decent.
