“I know that Irvington definitely is a stop everytime I am in NY,NY and NJ because of Big G Jamaican. It’s the best feel to dine here as it’s like eating home. Dig the vibe; folks outdoor chillin, plenty of seats inside and man that jerk sauce be ? ? that oxtail melts in your mouth!! The jerk is always fresh off the grill and don’t get me started with the chicken patties!! I’ll keep making trips here - give thanks for the great hearty food!“
“Favorito is a small restaurant but I found it after I ate some terrible food at a different restaurant so I came here. I was not disappointed. I ordered the Sandwich jamon y queso with eggs and the sandwich was big the price was good. I also love the atmosphere and the service was good.“
“I was In Newark last week and decided to try their food. Honestly this was the best Haitian food that I've tasted in so long, their legumes is to die for, the only thing is, they don't serve that much food lol I will definitely visit you guys next time I go to new jersey. (From Miami).“
“I always order the ackee and saltfish for breakfast at work. They forgot to add the fried dumpling to my order. I called to let them know and one of the workers, maybe the manager, personally delivered to my job. I worked around the corner, maybe 3 blocks but she didn't have to do that. It means so much when people go above and beyond. Excellent customer service is hard to find these days.“
“This site is my preferable place. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this restaurant. Whenever I want to go to a decent meal, this is the place that comes straight to my head. extremely good and diverse food and a rich cuisine.professional team, and good ambience. And very important, the cost is honest. I praise this place with pleasure.“
“Delicious and FRESH food. Very good Haitian place on my now three visits. It's a high-quality takeout restaurant and level of service depends on the person waiting on you. I have had okay service by some and great hospitality from others (the owner and Jemima, I believe is her name, have both given excellent personal service). Either way, the food makes up for it.I've had the pork griot, which is so delicious. Many places you get fried pork, you might be chewing for days; theirs is tender and flavorful. I just had the fritaille platter with the pork and everything included was fresh and delicious. I've also had the fish, chicken, and beef patties made with homemade puff pastry. They were all fresh and SO FLAKEY. Perfect puff pastry. They're also well-priced and a good value. Don't hesitate to try them, it's always busy for a reason!Wheelchair accessibility: No steps or stairs“
“I'm here almost daily. Wing Noon is last gasp for acquiring late night necessities late at night. Please approach the counter service with patience. Service can be pleasant however deliberate. Enough for the important points, food is one tick above average. Atmosphere is Urban. But come on man, this is a corner convenience store that just happens to serve up hot Chinese supper to the West Side number blocks.“
“I went in trying the efo riro with pound yam for the first time. I was super excited and they succeeded my expectations. It was amazing and spicy. The guy at the front desk that took my order was very sweet and very helpful. I will be back it was very filling. Thank you for an amazing first experience!“
“My husband and I we went to I hop yesterday it was a late night run and it was a good experience. When we got there the hostess she was nice and welcoming.. she sat us down waited for a couple of minutes came back got order and drinks.. she should have wrote down the order. I got the turkey sausages, eggs whites, pankes and grits.. and he got the bacon burger with eggs and fries and french toast.. the burger was great the egg add a nice touch to it.. the fries wasn't bad and the French toast was ok.. the grits was good but it was a tad bit too watery.. the egg whites and the pankes were great.. the turkey sausages was alright. We got something to drink also orange juice and raspberry iced tea and the waitress came by twice and asked us how was the food... so over all is was good. We got the bill.. the bill was $41 and some change and she scratched out the price and charged us $51 and some change.. I didn't know they can do that.“
