We have been t Porta in Jersey City so decided to check out the Montlcair location. Easy to get reservations - even for a Sat night in May. Great decor, excellent service. We enjoyed the fresh ricotta appetizer. Then had a couples pizzas and split a large Bibb salad. The Carbonara might be THE best pizza we've ever had. On Memorial Day we had dinner at Porta in early evening with our family. We just walked in to see if there was a table available. The food is decent and the restaurant is looking very well. The staff did their best to give their guest a best experience.

This place has started chai and some snacks to go with it. We ordered methi gota and dabeli. Both of them tasted really nice! Tea was amazing too! They have a couple of tables outside their place and was quite nice to have some quick chai there. Service was a little slow but the taste of the snacks made up for it! Definitely going there every weekend from now on!
