“Was a cute charming restaurant. I liked that the dishes changed. The food was good, I loved the spaghetti with locally grown mushrooms. My guest were not such a fan of their dishes, the ravioli was good but felt a little bland according them. The braised lamb shank was tender, but the flavors didn’t wow them. The dessert ware delicious, I would come back for that.Again I’m glad their menu changes seasonally so you have a reason to come back.“
“Easily one of the best sandwich shops in JC. I've been through almost everything on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. My go to these days is the #5, breaded chicken lettuce tomato hot peppers and Chipotle mayo. Can't go wrong with the chicken vodka Parmigiano, one of the best vodka sauces I've ever had!“
“Highly recommend Ita Italian Kitchen in JC for a memorable dinner outing ( and for my gf and I, thats very hard to come by since we are very picky and foodies!). The dining experience at Ita Italian Kitchen is delightful, with standout dishes like beef bolognese, antipasto with olives and cheese, and clams that are sure to impress your taste buds! Don't miss out on trying their espresso martini(though got mine with house tequila), a real highlight of their drink menu. While some drinks may lean towards being too sweet, the overall experience at Ita Italian Kitchen is excellent and perfect for a special dinner outing! Service was immaculate.“
“A must try neighborhood gem. They pack on enough meat for two sandwiches with thick slices of mozzarella that’s as fresh as it gets. Really appreciate that the semolina bread is baked locally in JC, though it tastes straight out of Brooklyn. Perfectly executed, team Venti. Thank you!“
“I took one of my friends to this place today and it was really great. The view, the food, the service, and ambience. Little disappointing that I didn't get the outdoor sitting because of cold weather but the view from the restaurant was really awesome.Must try dessert: Pistachio Tiramisu“
“Hands down the best espresso drinks in JC. My favorite two things are the fig prosciutto and cheese focaccia and Also THE TINY SPICY FISH on toast. I don't know exactly what it is but I don't care its amazing and delicious. Get a cortado or a cappuccino or even just an espresso shot. The service is FAST especially for what everyone is making but I will say the line and wait can get so crazy that you sometimes just step out and try another time.“
“Live around the corner and came for dinner for the first time. Serving staff were lovely and attentive and the owner (I assume) was on tables and checking in, very friendly. We enjoyed the food a lot, and the wine was very reasonably priced. The duck was especially good. Ambiance is great too.“
“Solid place, however, they are very overpriced as I would go somewhere else if I had an option for fresh italian foods and good quality meats/fish/cheese without going to NYC/Eataly, which has way more options for less or about the same price, but better quality, unique and exotic choices for your money. There is nothing bad to say here, I was in quick, out quick, and happy with the results.“
“One of my coworkers introduced to me to Palermo’s when we ordered lunch together a few times. I’ve only had a few sandwiches, but they have been delicious every time. I can’t wait to try their other food, especially the lasagna which I’ve heard great things about.“
“This place never fails! Their food is out of this world and their service is on point. We’ve been here 3 times total and each time we get so excited about what we are going to order and the new items in the menu. This place is great for date night or a night out with friends. Highly recommend the lasagna fritta!!“
“Loved this family-owned spot. Delicious lasagna and Italian pastries - cookies, cannolis, linzer tarts, cakes, and more. There's even a small section with Italian snacks and essentials. The pizza looked and smelled delicious as well and the ladies who worked there were so precious and sweet! “
“The food was amazing, I would love to call out Aries and Angela who were the cooks behind the amazing cuisines I got to try. As well as Joseph and Kathy who were amazing servers, they were so attentive and gave some of the best customer service. They are an excellent team, with some of the best personalities. Not only were they friendly and fun to converse with but they positive, and welcoming. It made the aura the best to have a meal in.“
“Giovanni was awesome from the moment we arrived til the second we left. Great attitude, atmosphere and service. It's not fancy. It's down to earth with amazing food and people. Carmine was also a very nice person but we interacted with Giovanni more. They helped us with the huge menu and served everything to the table. The Pasta e Fagiole was great with perfect beans and pasta in a nice savory broth. The Chicken Soup was also in a flavorful broth with shredded chicken and veggies. The Chicken Parm was enormous and perfectly breaded with a sauce that packed a punch. The Chicken Marsala was tender and the sauce was sooo good. Mushrooms on the dish were particularly good for some reason. The Broccoli Rabe had excellent flavor. Salted with a touch of chili flake. Mmmm mmm. The bread and butter hit the spot. Pasta and sauce on the side with the Chicken Parm was also perfectly al dented with a winning tomato sauce. Oh, the macaroni salad is good too. Nice and tamgy with sweetness but not too much.We will definitely come back the next time we are in town. All the people who came on were nice good people too. We had a fun experience listening to all the banter between people who clearly eat there daily. It's a must try.“
“I literally waited MONTHS for my reservation date- crazy day of flooding but dinner at 15 Fox Place made it all ok! From the moment we walked in, it truly felt like we were being welcomed by family. The food was delicious- we kept trying to decide what our favorite course was- but it was so fun that each person in our group enjoyed something different the most. Come with an open mind to try so many things, and make sure you come with an empty belly- because you will leave “Thanksgiving” full. Dining amongst the family treasures, photos and decor makes it feel like you’re at a family member’s home. Each course was delicious- the chef came out to say hello- and the ladies who took care of us were simply the best of JC. I’ll be calling a Monday to make another reservation. Maybe I’ll be hungry again by the time we can get in! BYOB- but they have soda and coffee available.“
“Renato's Pizza Masters is a total standout. Whenever we're in the area, it's practically a given that we'll be swinging by for some of their pizza. Their gift certificates are an absolute winner for anyone living in Jersey City. Who wouldn't want the gift of delicious pizza? Plus, the atmosphere there is always welcoming, and the service is fantastic.“
“Came here for Valentine's Day as a recommendation. I love how this is located in the heart of a residential area - you definitely had locals at the bar enjoying the space. The dinner started with salad and the most delicious bread basket - yes the breads are made in house! Overall - authentic Italian dishes that tasted homemade and delicious. Expect huge portions, and overall pretty good price! It was quite busy, again likely because of Valentine's Day, but the service was fast and attentive. I would come here again just to get the eggplant rollatine. Yummy!“
“I've been going to Gino's forever! They are amazing! Sal retired but his sons Andrew and Frankie took over the business and treat everyone like family from customers to employees. I can't really name a favorite dish because I love everything!! Mozzarella in Carrozza, Gino's Special Salad, Calzones, Rigatoni alla Romano, Chicken Sorrentino, Chicken Montebianco, Grandma Pizza, White Pizza literally everything!! If it's not on the menu ask if they can make it they will. And make sure to check out the specials! You won't be disappointed!Vegetarian options: Pasta Primavera, Gino's Special Salad, Grilled Veggie Wrap plus some others.“
“Best Italian food ever! Small store with lots of Flavor! You must try the famous Chicken Bruschetta! One taste and your hooked! Better order early, they sell out fast. Great family business where they all know your name, and in my case… my order too.“
“Their sandwich is a chef's kiss. ? All of the ingredients are fresh, home made and very delicious. Price is also very reasonable. Owners are super kind and speak both English and Italian. We are happy to have this lovely store in our community ! :)“
“A huge thank you to Jerry at for the fantastic service, delicious food, and his patience in ensuring my order was perfect. Also, thank you for the delicious cannolis. I have order multiple times from Jerry’s and have not been disappointed.“
“For Thanksgiving this year, my family and I decided to get dinner catered since my mom and I weren't able to cook and didn't want to put all the work on my sister. A friend recommended Erco and I'm so glad he did. Not only was it easy to place the order, the food was delicious! We ordered the simple package and added broccoli rabe. ? ?“
“I have been eating here for decades and so has my daughter and sons. An excellent family business with really nice owners. Great service and clean place. The food is excellent and so is the pizzas ( best in Jersey City) I highly recommend this eatery! ??“
“We came for Easter brunch as we wanted to be somewhere on the water with a few. Tyler was our server and he was wonderful! We needed a few entree substitutes (due to picky eaters) and he made it happen. Such a great way to spend our Easter. Thank you Tyler! We will be back this summer.“
“OHHHHH YESSSS!!! Are you ready for an amazing Bacon,Egg,Cheese!!!!!!! Go to this Deli!!!! It's amazing!! Fresh food!!! The service is like walking into your family home! People are so kind and ready to take your order with a smile!! I will be going back to try even more food they service here!!!!“
“I LOVE THIS PIZZERIA! Jimmy is the man behind the oven. He puts his life into his business and it shows. He always has a smile, is always willing to make the customer happy, and he makes every morsel of food with love. Please stop by and give it a shot for yourself. ?“
“Last night I came to Chickie’s. There was street parking, we found quite fast. Overall it was a great experience. Drinks we got were House Rose and espresso martini( my date said it was quite sweet). Food was fresh and came out quick despite it being a full house. The mozzarella sticks were amazing and must. The spicy rigatoni does live up to the hype as well, and I highly recommend. To finish, we had a tiramisu which was also fresh. The highlights of this place were the atmosphere, the quick service and how fresh the food was along with the quality of ingredients. Next time I’ll come for a pizza as their menu looked great.“
“I knew from the moment I walked in the door that I had picked the right place to have dinner. Everything was simply amazing from the management to the waiter to every aspect of the restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing and we went by the choices that were recommended, this place I give a four star rating if I could give more I would. It is a must to visit and have a delicious meal.“
“I think the pizza of this place deserves 5 starts. I only give 4 because the owner should be more careful that his employees don’t not manipulate the ingredients for the pizzas with the same hands that they are collecting money.Handle customer’s food as you wish people handle yours!“
“The Franklin went above and beyond for my baby shower. The food was fantastic, the service exceptional, and the venue felt both homey and private, ideal for our 40-person gathering. Kelly, who assisted us leading up to the event, was amazing to work with. From start to finish, The Franklin made our celebration memorable and stress-free. Highly recommend!“
“Awesome, awesome spot. Food from apps to entrees (I had chicken parm) are generous portions and VERY good. We went here with a group of 12 for my birthday and not only was service good, the staff were so nice & fun. We kept adding music to the jukebox and when it was clear the rest of the restaurant patrons were also enjoying it, they turned it up a bit we all sang and the staff were soaking it up. We loved them (even the cooks were enjoying it!). All in all, quaint spot, but if you go with friends and want to shut the place down on a weekend night, they're happy to give you an unforgettable night.Highly recommended and we will be back!!“
“The spot is really cool, fun vibes! The food was really good, devoured all of it. We got the $20 pitchers of mimosa. Overall good restaurant but the portion size of the pitchers, wings and nachos are small. I guess the price makes sense but even for the price, I feel like portions are small. Service was fine, she was nice.“
“Good food, very attentive service and great ambiance. We ordered-Wednesday all you can eat mussels- was ok-Pistachio Buratta salad-very tasty-Meatballs- good solid diah-Sourdough bread -loved the bread,it was just the right level of crunch-Paperdelle - very tastyAll dishes were good overall, but nothing over the top. I definitely recommend it for a nice dinner night out :)“
“Razza is a very good and delicious pizza spot in Jersey City. I visited with 2 friends on a Saturday night (got there at 5.55pm), we had no reservation, left our name down and we got a seat and 15min later.Pizza was so so good eapecially La Rossa with burrata, Yellow margherita and the special pie of the day with spinach.Cool vibe, they were very busy. No delivery expect for an hour or so right after they open.I will definitely go back and recommend this place.“
