Full bar, good selection of beer, but here they pour Guiness properly. Cheeseburger is recommended. Great selection on jukebox. Amiable bartenders.Outdoor patio in the back. Sometimes they light the fireplace on cold winter nights.
One of those establishment taverns. It doesn't appear to have a sign and if I hadn't seen the picture of the front on Yelp, I might have missed it. I think they have a few parking spots behind the restaurant but we found a spot not too far away on the street. We went on a Monday night to get a burger. Not crowded. Didn't eat. Killed two hours here rather easily. Immediately had two open spots at the bar but we were lucky in our timing, this place can get full fast. Never had to wait for a new drink, bartenders were on top of everything.It's a local stop in Jersey City, though, so be prepared for the accent and the attitude.
