I have been looking for the best hero in Jersey City. I have had a lot of them. My search is over now. Super Hero Subs is best in Jersey City! Huge, generous portion. Great value! Quality meats, cheese and vegi's! The bread is great. Not too hard. Looking forward to trying their fish on Friday!
Super Hero makes the best subsandwiches in town. The food is fresh and Mrs Gladys is super nice. One sub can truly feed 3 to 4 people. The prices are fair considering the amount of food you get and the meat/ingredients are high quality. This is a black own family business. It's cash only but they do have an ATM on site.

FRESH Boars Head meats, fresh veggies, generous portions, polite friendly customer service. Reasonable prices. Definitely my Go-To Sub shop. I will not patronize the two well-known "Chain" sandwich shops again.
