Decided to give this place a try. One of my folks was like they had it for lunch and it was real good, I must admit that they were correct. I got the chicken and the ribs platters. Both were well cooked, moist and very flavorful. The fries were on point and the rice was good too. The little veggie garnishes were perfect. Best BBQ Chicken in all of Kearny. Best naturally cut French fries too!They have been part of the Kearny life for 20+ years with friendly service and great people. Make sure to order early on weekends and holidays cause they have many fans ?

Chicken and Ribs platter was massive and very good, definitely recommend for 2-3 people. Plenty Portuguese inspiration can be found throughout the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant.Staff is also very friendly, try out there green sauces as well.
