“First and foremost, we have been ordering from them for the last 10 years. Service has always been efficient the food has never disappointed, If there's a situation, they always rectify it and make sure that my family and I are always satisfied with the outcome. Just today there was a situation and a mix-up. They were able to handle it swiftly and make sure that we were happy not only with the solution but again the flavor of the food presentation and service starting from the order through the delivery gentleman whom was also kind, generous and accommodating. I would recommend this to my company, my family and friends. So if you need a place for a banquet for a small party or just to feed your family on a Saturday afternoon, I highly recommend Nino's trattoria. I know it as brick oven pizza because it is the absolute most delicious pizza I've ever had. Very competitive and bar. None the best in my family. Thank you to the staff, the phone operating directors and everyone that it took to actually make this process a wonderful experience, stellar job.sincerely, hello David's family.P.S when you're hungry, start with them.Vegetarian options: Order today. Don't second guess it five star 10 ratingNitDietary restrictions: No dietary needs just an open palette for delicious food. That's his place“
“I've been trying to find a good pizzeria in the Kearny area for a few months now as I'm not originally from this area. Gave Peter's a try and now it's the only place I order my pizza from. Good pizza, not pricey, and they deliver pretty fast. The pizza is still hot when it arrives!!!“
“Went last night for a little friend date. We were sat promptly at a nice two top by the front window. Our server, who was the most italian server I’ve had since Italy, described the specials perfectly. Everything sounded delicious and I wanted to hear him talk more. All the food was top notch. The mushroom pasta special was a bit pricey ($29 a little sticker shock) and could have used more of that mushroom flavor, however, the pasta ribbons were of a most excellent quality with a nice chew, so I was still satisfied. The best item of the night was the roasted cauliflower special with the piccata sauce. My only qualm was the server, though magnificent, described the dish as being accompanied by focaccia bread. Upon receiving the check I discovered the focaccia was a separate charge. Felt a slight sense of hoodwinked but no matter - it was delicious bread.Service is nice as relaxed in that very European way. It was nice to be given time and not felt rushed out. In fact, I requested the check, which often time a restaurant doesn’t afford you the pleasure of doing. Will be back for certain.“
“I took one of my best friends here for a birthday dinner on Friday evening. This restaurant has always been a favorite of mine and it never disappoints. Such a great ambiance, so New York that you almost feel as though you're in a film. Beautifully prepared food and top notch service as well. The nighttime lighting is perfect and everyone looks at their best. What's not to like?“
“We really enjoyed the visit. First time. Miguel was fabulous and the presentation amazing. A beautiful restaurant and wonderfully flavored foods. Grilled octopus amazing. Focaccia (2 kinds) so good! On and on. Everything was great finished with afogatto!“
“My boyfriend made reservations to Del Porto to celebrate my 43rd Birthday. This was our 1st time visiting this restaurant. The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. The staff are all nice especially our server Fermin. He was very pleasant and always had a warm smile. Our food was very delicious from the appetizer, crispy eggplant ,to my main course Bronzino and to my Tahitian Creme Brulee desert. I loved this restaurant and my experience here. I would definitely recommend to all. Very nice and classy look.Parking: Valet parking is available.“
“Scalini Fideli never disappoints. We came here 3 years ago after I proposed to my now wife and our experience then was memorable. The food here is delicious and the food presentation is beautiful. The chef goes above and beyond with his amazing cooking skills and presentation. I highly recommend this place if you love good Italian food and a romantic place to bring your wife, husband or significant other. This time around yet again a romantic memorable two year anniversary that my wife and I enjoyed with great food, ambiance and top notch service. We will definitely continue to come here and always make it a memorable time in this romantic Italian restaurant.“
“Barbuto is terrific. Really cool far west village location and it's a large space with a big bar (where we had a great house martini prior to dinner, the best way to eat out). The team is friendly from the get go and we felt taken care of by the friendly staff. We went for the roast chicken and it didn't disappoint. Don't expect it to be life changing but it is among the best roast chicken in NYC: juicy with great flavor and an amazing crispy skin served with their version of a chimichurri sauce. Delicious. Also want to acknowledge the calamari salad which is maybe the best version of fried calamari I've ever had. Great place and I'm happy it's here!“
“Not the best pizza in the world, but it’s a solid slice. I don’t think it’s worth the hype.Love the char on the bottom of the pizza. I can taste that the ingredients are fresh and local. Overall solid slice. One thing that was missing from every pie we ordered was SEASONING! It needed more SALT! It would have lifted the overall flavor of every pizza we ordered. It just fell flat without it.If you’re going , we recommend getting- Burrata Pizza- Tirimisu“
“They are the GOAT of Hoboken Hoagies. Their fresh made daily roast beef and mozzarella sandwich is unbeatable. I've been looking forward to a sandwich every time someone says Hoboken for over 30 years. My dad used to bring them home as a treat when we were kids. They are just as good as they ever were. My picky kids love it, too! ?I would have taken a photo, but the giant delicious sandwich didn't last long enough. “
“Expect a long wait to be seated. No reservations and cash only. Service a little slow, but that's because they were packed. Put that aside because once you start eating, you won't care about anything else. Reasonably pricedENJOY!Vegetarian options: The usual selection eggplant, pasta and delicious arugula salad.Parking: Free parking after 6 pm. Take advantage of that.“
“I have been dying to go to Corto for as long as I could remember. I finally got the opportunity to go for the first time for an early dinner last Saturday with one of my friends.Although the menu is on the smaller end, there were many options to choose from. Our waiter was exceptional, very knowledgeable and let us know that some menu items change seasonally. We sat in the heated patio which surprisingly got very loud when dinner ramped up. My friend and I tried two appetizers, two pastas and shared a main and dessert. The basil and mint on the spicy rigatoni was refreshing. Our favorite for the table was the mezzeluna pasta.I think we’ll be back in 2-3 months to see how the menu has changed and maybe order one of each pasta!“
“Our son recommended Palato’s and for once the kid steered his old man right! Haha. Our waitress was warm, friendly and most helpful with the menu. The owner stopped by our table a few times to check on us and was a very gracious host. Food was nothing short of spectacular from appetizers to entrees to gelato! We went with another couple and we each drove over 30 minutes to get there. Well worth the trip! We can’t recommend Palato Cafe any higher! Don’t miss it!“
“We were there for lunch on February 18, 2024 and it was excellent. The restaurant was completely booked but luckily for us we got there very early and were still able to eat something. We found the service incredibly friendly and she made our stay very special. We would come back at any time.“
“Amazing experience! Thank you AMBER ?! And thank you Adoro leí for such great service. My boyfriend and I came for our 4 year anniversary and she made sure to alwayss be on point and make sure we were enjoying our time together.. again thank you adoro leí for the experience and thank you AMBER. For being such a sweet heart ? we appreciate you !“
“Can’t say enough good things about this place … I wasn’t sure what to expect but luckily I was left impressed, full and wanting to go back!! Beautifully decorated with a great atmosphere, INCREDIBLE food (notably the Brussel sprouts, absolutely to die for!) and lovely servers. A great spot that I’ll definitely be back to.“
“This is the third Saturday night in the past month that we have dined at BV Tuscany. It has become our go-tp spot when we have to find a place to eat with demanding friends with lots of special requests. The staff and kitchen are extremely accommodating, while turning out excellent and elevated Italian food. Atmosphere is friendly and fun and the food is excellent.“
“This place is amazing very old school guys here which make it feel like home the food is nothing short of excellent . I had a meatball parm sandwich but the cleck made sure I tried some homemade fresh mozzarella ? and a chicken cutlet before the sandwich was made. Kinda gave me the old Italian holiday vibe where they feed you from the time you walk in till the time you leave.“
“This place is fantastic!!! The pasta was to die for! The lamb pizza I’ve been thinking about since I’ve eaten it! The only hiccup was that they were short staffed in the kitchen so we were there for a very long time AND my husbands steak was over cooked. They did more than enough to make it right and were very apologetic. The place is very cute and homey inside. PLUS BYOB! We will be back again that’s for sure !“
“A fantastic hangout in the West Village. It has a supercozy vibe, great comfort food, a block away from the West side. We always go there afer a walk on the West side promenade. Service is very good, the food is very classic and all very true Romagna food. It makes us always feel Granma cooked for us. They make probably the best flat bread Piadina I have tasted in NYC. We've been there many times both with the kids and with friends. Good choice on the wines too“
“Wow! Ordered Where's The Beef and I found it @ Vinnies Mootz! This beef had amazing flavor, thin sliced, cooked to perfection, loaded with the mootz, inside a toasted bun with the perfect crunch as you bite into this beauty of a sandwich. Dip into the au jus for the perfect bite!Vegetarian options: For the vegans they have eggplant with roasted peppers and zucchini as well as grilled veggies wrap.“
“First time visit to this restaurant. Our server Alina was exceptional - made great recommendations. The service was on point. The staff is very efficient. I loved my drink "Pineapple Jalapeno Mockarita". The crab cake, the best we have ever had - no fillers, just fresh crab meat. It's even better than the ones you get in Alaska. Other dishes we ordered including Branzino, Halibut were delicious as well. Portions are big. Next time, we are going to try the salads, we have heard they are great. Memorable experience. Would love to go back.“
“This place is unbelievable!!! My husband and i went for a quick lunch date and man, our only regret is that we hadn't tried it sooner. We got a salad, broccoli rabe, and the classic pizza to share. Everything was amazing. The pizza was like being back in Italy. We also got the nutella desert which should be illegal. Cannot wait to try our way through the menus. So happy to have this wonderful spot in the neighborhood.“
“This restaurant is a gem. My wife and I have been here twice and we're coming this Saturday and bringing friends. The room is very nice and the service is excellent. The menu is balanced and, frankly, something of a bargain. The veal/beef meatball is as good as any I've ever had. The New York strip was perfectly cooked and very tender. I make a pretty good steak at home so rarely order one out. Laboratorio Kitchen is becoming a go-to place for me!“
“First time trying their sandwiches yesterday and we’re hooked! I usually travel to Hoboken for my Italian deli sandwich cravings but was super excited to find such a close place after a friend recommended this spot. The fresh mozzarella was delicious and they don’t skimp out. My sandwich was so filled I could barely bite it (which is always a good thing in my book lol) I got a custom sandwich with turkey, salami and fresh mozzarella and my husband got a spicy vodka chicken parm. 10/10 recommend getting your sandwiches from here, we’ll definitely be back!!“
“Although we did not have reservations, the host/owner was very accommodating and welcoming. All staff members were friendly with open smiles. Foodwise, with kids, I was forced to order the plain margarita pizza but ordered the clam pasta and entree with eggplant and chicken (forgot the name). Since I ate the pizza when it was cooled, the dough was a bit tough. Perhaps I'll have to have it when it comes right out. All the pasta and entrees were good. I do recommend this place bc 1) owner and staff was wonderful, 2) food was better than your plain Jane Italian joints.“
“I wish I had found Bella Trattoria sooner! My wife and I have been trying to find some 'go to' dinner spots since moving to the east coast, and I can confidently say we found a keeper. The atmosphere in the restaurant is perfect for a date night or a nice family outing and you'll absolutely find something on the menu for everyone. We started with the calamari fra diavolo and the sauce had the perfect amount of spice to it. The main course obviously had to be some pizza but we couldn't decide on one so we tried the veggie and the salsiccia. You guys...they were amazing! The crust was just right and there was plenty to take home for late night snacks. All I can say is I can't wait to go back“
“Highly recommend Ita Italian Kitchen in JC for a memorable dinner outing ( and for my gf and I, thats very hard to come by since we are very picky and foodies!). The dining experience at Ita Italian Kitchen is delightful, with standout dishes like beef bolognese, antipasto with olives and cheese, and clams that are sure to impress your taste buds! Don't miss out on trying their espresso martini(though got mine with house tequila), a real highlight of their drink menu. While some drinks may lean towards being too sweet, the overall experience at Ita Italian Kitchen is excellent and perfect for a special dinner outing! Service was immaculate.“
“WOW! What an amazing meal we had tonight! We had burrata appetizer and Chicken Balsamic Special also the Skirt Steak Chimichurri. ALL were really, really good. Service was amazing... such a nice welcoming and comfortable atmosphere! We will definitely be back.“
“Moved to South Orange less than 2 years ago and this has become our go-to local Italian place. Husband and I love it for date nights. Everything we’ve tried on the menu has been awesome and you can’t beat the family-owned and ran service. Anthony (son of Giorgio) is just the kindest and the best, always making sure everyone has what they need and helping however he can. Great food + kind, hard working people + BYO policy = the best. Also love the recent upgrades!!“
“I loveeeee this place. They're margaritas will KILL you! In a good way of course. The pizzas are INCREDIBLE!!! Super super delicious! Our favorites are the large tray! We get half Aunt Honey - Seppe's red pie topped with chili flakes, hot soppressata and hot honey & the other half Pep In Your Step - Seppe's red pie with fresh jalapeno's, cupping pepperoni and hot honey.“
“This place is a great all around food service and atmosphere. Staff was amazing gave great recommendations. You have to order the meatballs for an appetizer top 3 best meatballs I have ever eaten. I can not say enough good things about this place.“
“A must try neighborhood gem. They pack on enough meat for two sandwiches with thick slices of mozzarella that’s as fresh as it gets. Really appreciate that the semolina bread is baked locally in JC, though it tastes straight out of Brooklyn. Perfectly executed, team Venti. Thank you!“
“Malaparte is a dimly-lit, cozy Italian restaurant located in the West Village with a warm ambiance. The vibe & service is great.I got the ragu papardelle pasta, and thought the pasta was too thin & not chewy enough. My friend got the lasagna and it was good but not entirely memorable.Definitely a good spot for a reasonably priced Italian dinner, but I’ve had better Italian food in other places in the city.“
“First time ordering from Bella and my sister and I were craving chicken cutlet sandwich. But we don’t eat cheese and James the guy that answered the phone, went to check if the breadcrumbs contained cheese which they did. He made a note to the cook to prepare a special order without cheese. Very accommodating and this was the best sandwich I ever ate. Most places already have the chicken prepared or frozen and they cannot accommodate for the ones who need cheese less breadcrumbs. Lots of chicken and very fresh. Definitely will come back and thank you for being so patient!!“
“We experienced great service at this farm to table brunch spot. Everything we ordered was delicious. We will certainly be back for dinner. We loved the classy garden interior decor. This restaurant takes reservations. Parking is street parking, thus it is sometimes hard to find.“
“I loved the place, the atmosphere, the service, my mother, all the waiters are super good, the bartender is a sweetheart, and of course, I will return. I am a lover of good service and good food, and Italian food will always have a special space in me. stomach.“
“Awesome place with awesome people and AWEsome pizza! Triple P! I ordered 4 different slices at almost 11pm, and they were all stellar ?Lots of seating, bathroom was clean, and they're open later than most places!Great pizza spot to frequent!“
“Very nice guys to chat with. They told us their story (from Palermo). The sandwich was just perfect. Finally something healthy with raw mozzarella and rocket. With 1 sandwich you can eat 2.Tiny place but comfortable tables. Coffee also offered. Top I'll be back“
“The Stracciatella soup is hot and made to order. Crispy calamari and the grilled octopus are very good. The NY strip was perfectly cooked. The mashed potatoes were a very thick, heavy consistency. The homemade gnocchi are heavy and doughy. The Tiramisu and Cream Brule are excellent, as is the Affagato.“
“My new favorite restaurant! Everything is fresh and filling, you can taste the care and love put into the dishes. The ambiance is comforting and inviting, the kind of place you could sit and eat and drink for hours. The bartenders are very nice. 10/10“
“Simply incredible! I discovered this restaurant during my trip to the United States in February and what can I say except that I tasted one of the best pizzas! The restaurant is very warm and I was very well received by the staff and owners :)I will definitely come back to this restaurant during my next trip to the US, I wrote it down in my travel diary :)“
“This was our first time at Panini Grill and we will definitely be back! Food was delicious and service was very good. The fixed price menu is amazing. I had a salad, eggplant rollatini and the peach sangria. Everyone in our group was very pleased with their meals.“
“Food very good, reasonable prices. Small but eclectic menu. Wines surprisingly good by the glass--the Chianti a great choice. Excellent service. They've earned their good ratings here. One caveat: the bread is like sponge cake, they could make a better choice.“
“Almost hidden on a small street in Belleville, Me & Tommy's looks like someone's house from the outside. Once inside, you are immediately treated as a guest in a friend's home. We received such a warm welcome, that my husband asked if I knew the staff. That level of service continued throughout the entire meal. I can't remember the last time I experienced such outstanding service. The dining area is quite small, and they are busy all night. I would most definitely call for a reservation in advance. The atmosphere is lively and boisterous. Not meant for a quiet romantic evening. Kinda like a loud Sunday family dinner vibe. For food: Smothered Rice Balls in Vodka Sauce, Stuffed Cubanelle Peppers, Pasta Volognese, and Artichoke Chicken. For me, the Rice Balls were my favorite dish. Generously portioned, the rice balls are a cheesy carb delight. The famous vodka sauce was creamy and plentiful. Highly recommend. The Stuffed Peppers were two very large, beautiful cubanelles (my personal fav pepper). My husband loved the stuffing, while I did think it was a touch over seasoned. The Volognese- cross btw vodka and bolognese) was enormous! It does lean more to the bolognese, but was tasty nonetheless. My Chicken Artichoke special consisted of three chicken breasts with mozzarella and artichoke hearts in a white wine lemon sauce over linguine. This was a very tasty and satisfying dish, and -you guessed it- generous. We shared an Affogatto with Bailey's liqueur for dessert which was a perfect end to the meal. Even my espresso was delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. We took home enough left overs for another meal! We will most definitely return.“
“Absolutely incredible every time! I go as often as possible for the past 6 years. This is the perfect weekend meal and the pizza might even last 2 days if you get a whole one. The menu changes every week with fresh seasonal delights! ☺️“
“The BEST NYC pizza hands down! It beats Grimaldi’s and all the other ones. Their tomato sauce is prepared so sweet I order MORE of it as a topping. The cheese is delicious and the Sicilian style size pizza is Amazing! VERY CRISPY. The only way to know More about the place is go to it in person!“
“fyi-this restaurant does have a bar which is something I couldn’t easily tell from the reviews and overview or website.scroll through the reviews or don’t waste your time and just go and enjoy some delicious food in a nice atmosphere.I’ve been wanting to go and try their cheese plate and some of the other small dishes for quite a while, and went tonight for a special occasion - so glad we did! It was a lovely dinner for my father’s birthday. And through March they have a special restaurant week pre-fixe with many options.Charming restaurant, excellent service, impressive extensive menu including small plates, shareable plates, different types of meatballs, entrees (of course) and a small dessert selection. The desserts were outstanding, the dishes we had were great, and the servers were sweet and helpful without being overbearing. the back room was a little chilly for my party, but fine for me.thank you guys! i look forward to returning and trying some more dishes!“
“I've been coming to this place since 1996 as a 16 year old. Best pizza and sauce in all of downtown Manhattan!! Same owners. They are excellent for large office parties or even your own personal parties. Their Chicken Parm is absolutely amazing. Real authentic and tasty mozzarella! You want the beat pizza in downtown, go here. There's a reason I've been going here this long. And I lived in the Bronx near Arthur Ave my nearly my whole life where great pizza is!“
“This place was recommended by a friend. Small establishment family owned. STELLA was delightful. She works side by side with her daughter. You can see she really enjoys cooking up her delishous empanadas and they take pride in what they do. The variety of empanadas ! Wow ! And desert empanadas also. There are so many to choose from. BBQ pulled pork, Philly cheese steak, buffalo chicken, mozzarella garlic and parsley were some of the best. Prices are good. Marinated grilled Chicken sandwiche and chori burger was delicious, so much flavor. Fries are on the crispy side as they are deep fried. If you like this kind of chip taste from a French fry then you will love these. If not I suggest getting a salad. The cost of a dozen fried is a great deal. If you want them baked it cost a lil more and will take a lot longer. So call ahead. They also do fundraisers and have a food truck. Call for more info. I'd have given a 5 star but I'm big on customer service. Upon entering it felt a lil akward when it should have felt welcoming. As this was my first time I believe you should give a friendly introduction no matter how busy you may be. You should make the time and give attention to the customers in front of you instead of the people who are calling in orders. It shows you care about the customers experience by puttingthem first. It sets the tone for your experience and for me will determine if I become a returning customer. I do recommend all the empanada lovers out there come and try Stella's Empanadas you won't be disappointed!Kid-friendliness: Kids love empanadas !“
