“This cute little local favorite was a delight. I got stuck here in Ford, NY due to a break down with my truck so I decided to try the local cafe! I loved it, food was good and fulfilling while I listened to the local chatter from the patrons! The service was awesome and even the cook came by to say "hi"! (Hard to find this in So Cal) If you're in the area and want something that kinda takes you back to a simpler time I think you'll like Colonial Restaurant“
“Where do I even begin? The food here is immaculate. I have tried almost every dish, and every single one was incredible. My favorite is the Chicken Avacado Panini. The service is incredible as well. The waitress is the most sweet lady and even remembers what people's usuals are. She is awesome. I always feel welcomed and the whole place is cozy. This is my go to place for when Im having a bad day or when I want to have a great time with my friends and family. Their quality control is also amazing, each time I come, I get a meal that was prepared amazingly. Well done Al's, I will keep coming back for more and more years.“

“I had to stop by to write this review! I ordered the honey garlic and the honey buffalo chicken wings for the Super Bowl and boy I wasn’t disappointed!!! It was finger licking good and I was so surprised that we had no left overs and our guest was inquiring about this place because it was so good. The wings were cooked to perfection, not hard or burnt under the sauce just a nice crisp that made everything so enjoyable. The owner was super sweet and the round tray that she put everything in was very professional. I’ll definitely be coming back to try some more food on her menu along with the wings. “Any time of day the tropical pancakes are amazing. Bananas, blueberries, coconut, strawberries and granola on tender pancakes dusted with powdered sugar. Yum! Of course the menu is extensive and I've never had a bad or mediocre meal there. Even the corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick's day wS as good as I've ever had!Kid-friendliness: Comfortable for the kids.“

“Ok I have to be honest, I was a little nervous going here because curb appeal it doesn't have. Parking is limited also. I ordered the mushroom burger medium well with fries. Waiter was on point quickly refilling the soda. The burger was done perfect and the taste was great. Definitely would recommend this place for a meal. “Great atmosphere, waitress was pleasant. The food presentation was good, and fresh ingredients were used. I ordered the tex-mex south-western egg rolls that were cooked perfectly. However, they lacked taste. The crispness was there, but they didn't taste like anything. The salsa dip tasted like spaghetti sauce as well.If I come again I'll prolly get a panini.“

“Classic all-American diner in a quiet Staten Island mini-mall. The photo menu was so large that I could hardly lift it. Did not feel like the Manhattan Greek diners but had lots of local charm. We enjoyed a vegetable omelette with home fries and English muffins, and a "healthy" egg and turkey bacon wrap, fruit salad. Good coffee, constant refills, chocolate chip covered large cookies in the bakery display, pages of sandwich options and hot entrees at dinner. Obviously gets locals and repeat diners. Well priced and large portions. A keeper....“

“I've been going to the Reo for years! What I want to say today is that I had recently tried the new IHOP in Woodbridge. It was overpriced and they don't even have regular black tea! So today , I said im going to the Reo and I got a delicious stack of French toast and coffee and the price and service blow away what we spent at IHOP. Renew my loyalty to the REO!“

Clean, fast friendly service, lots of menu choices and the food tastes great.Vegetarian options: While limited vegan dishes are available, the staff is very accommodating when asked to have an item changed, dressing on side or no butter for example. “I did not know I would like this diner this much. Wait staff, bussers and cooks are 2nd to none. I had pancakes with fruit on top, delicious. Not everyone can make a good pancake. Daughter had an omlette cooked perfectly. Husband had corned beef hash with eggs on top. Not all places know it should be done this way. Delicious!“
“I think it's fair to say Woodrow Diner is among the top 5 on Staten Island. Omelets are good, pancakes are decent. Coffee is on par. Good service and have never had a long wait for a table. Not one of my favorite Staten Island parking lots.“
