“It's hard to know where to start with this homey, wonderful breakfast and lunch spot! My family discovered Patti's when we bought our beach house 6 years ago in Chadwick Beach. Patti's makes incredible food, has a great atmosphere, has the most wonderful staff, and all in all is our NUMBER 1 place to go to eat at the beach! If we are down for a day or a week, we eat breakfast there every day. We never get tired of it because there's always something great to eat waiting just down the block. We depend on Patti's and I don't know what we'd do without it! Actually, last year we had to do without it because it was closed for maybe 5 months during a major renovation. We were forced to try other places, and nothing even came close to measuring up to Patti's. Thank you - everyone at Patti's- for being the great people you are and for being in our neighborhood. Our lives are truly enhanced just because of your restaurant!”
“This place is always busy, but I must say for all the years that it has been there. They try to accommodate you whatever which way they can to get you seated. Going there and experiencing the atmosphere you get when you're eating, you won't be disappointed. We had over 18 people to be seated to eat, and they accommodated us.Kid-friendliness: They have no problem accommodating your children not at all.”
“love megs. it's a smallish comfortable and very cozy. I'm local so I can take advantage of megs in the off season . it still attracts a crowd but not too bad. the food is excellent. I love their pancakes, or omelets. my,kids have had other food here and love it. I've also had lunch here and love their chicken salad. Recommend it highly.”
“Enjoyed an excellent meal last night with friends. Food was great, casual friendly atmosphere, service was excellent. Had the mussels, salads were great, seafood curry, blackened fish special, and short ribs to name a few. Then finished with daily bread pudding special and a tsunami for dessert! Will definitely return!”
“How have I not rated this place yet? We've been ordering from Mia's for years, great takeaway beach food. Lately we've been getting the Brooklyn Sicilian thin crust pie which is tremendous. But other food is great too. Garlic knots, whoa. Keep up the good work ??”
“We only tried the ice cream here so I can't speak for the food...however, the ice cream was delicious! There were so many flavors and even more options for toppings. You could get anything from sprinkles, to brownie pieces, to crushed cannoli or jelly beans! I tried the brookie blast with Nestle CRUNCH, and it was essentially a chocolate lover's dream. Every bite had an explosion of cookie dough and brownie bites. My sister tried a new flavor, sugar cookie, and she said the taste was similar to that of the animal crackers with icing. That scoop was loaded with cookie pieces and rainbow sprinkles (bit that didn't stop my sister from ordering extra sprinkles on top!) My mom had bourbon brown butter truffle, a unique flavor that I haven't seen at any of the other ice cream shops around here. We all ordered small cups, but we got heaping scoops that were almost overflowing the cup! The only downside of our visit was the service. When we arrived, there was a line out the door and into the street. After waiting about ten minutes, we still hadn't moved a step. After 20 minutes or so, it was finally our turn to order. However, the girl scooping our ice cream was very polite and gave us a ton of ice cream.”
“We moved to Seaside Park from NY about 18 months ago and after eating at a few places I had effectively given up on eating sushi down here at all. Just being turned off by the local offering, for a while I passed over even trying Hoshino until last night.Let me just start by saying this is the best sushi in the area, and it's not even close! It's very authentic, with focus on quality of ingredients. People who complain about the portion size/price have no idea what authentic sushi is, and should stay in their lane. If you want big floppy pieces of lower grade sashimi, Xina is right over the bridge. While waiting for our meal, we overheard a gentleman at the table next to us say this is very good sushi, that it reminds him of NYC. He isn't wrong. I have extensive experience eating at sushi restaurants in the city and Japan, and this is as close as it gets. While I had sushi my girlfriend had the beef negimaki, and it was also very good. Bonus points for putting Toro on the menu and actually having it. Too many sushi restaurants say they have Toro but then never do.If we had one complaint, it would be the wait time. It seems they only had one server and so things moved a bit slowly. However, Bill, our server, was very nice and polite despite having to run around and serve several tables at once.Moving forward there is no doubt we will be eating here frequently.”
“Great place!! Excellent iced coffee and matcha lattes. Liked it better than Java Lava and no long lines. Staff/owner super nice. Place so inviting and comfortable. Perfect morning coffee.”
“A Jersey Shore staple, Runners' conspicuous presence along Route 35N is easy to miss if you're a first timer. However stop in for dinner just one evening and you'll be sure to never miss it again. A seafood market by day, it's no surprise that every meal tastes ridiculously fresh.Portions are always generous and pricing is very fair; even sometimes seeming much cheaper than competing restaurants.I've yet to ever have a bad meal at Runners! And if the dining room is full one night, don't shy away from takeout! The food is always well prepared so you don't lose a bit of flavor when opening it up on your back deck during a cool summer evening.Kid-friendliness: Vast selection of kid-friendly options that extends beyond just chicken fingers!”
“Chill atmosphere with amazing tacos. I did the tour…one shrimp, one brisket, one crispy fish. Everything fresh, made to order, fast. If I could eat more I would, they are that good.”
“GASSSSSSSSSSS !!!! It's so good after being on the beach all day. They have different and unique sandwiches to try. All of the cold salads they have are so good”
“Loved it here! The pizza and salad were delicious. Service was great- Lynn was wonderful; super attentive to our needs and very pleasant. Looking forward to returning!”
“A small yet bustling dinner with a cozy atmosphere and welcoming staff. The service is speedy and comes with a warm smile and cheery disposition. The food is fantastic, priced extremely fairly, and came to the table within 10 minutes of ordering. Our server was attentive.I recommend coming before 11am as it seems to get quite busy after 10:30am.”
“So...haven't been in a while but eating with 3 others and every dish was really good. People are so nice there. This is off season and was so happy it was open. Will definitely go back. Off season dinner you miss the beautiful water views but everything else was great!”
“From the moment my amazing girlfriend and I walked into this quaint cafe, we fell in love with the vibes, decor, smells and more so, the people. They were so accommodating. They walked us through it all and ended up with the best breakfast. We're from Chicago and this place hit the spot! Cheers, Lava Java House ☕️”
